Please, Master, Help Me!

Anger could not solve anything. After venting in space for half a day, Peter still had to face one practical problem: how could he rescue Aunt May?

Simply getting her out would not be difficult. Peter could use mind reading to trace the clues and find where Aunt May was being held.

With his current level of power, no one could stop him from rescuing her.

But what came afterward was the real problem. How could he prevent Hydra from assassinating Aunt May?

Just as Ward had said, Aunt May was only an ordinary person. One bullet would be enough. Peter could not keep watch beside her every moment, nor could he lock her up like a prisoner.

He could live in seclusion, but Aunt May needed a social life.

Even if he killed every member of Hydra, how could he guarantee Aunt May’s safety throughout the process?

After thinking it over again and again, he could only think of one person: his master, whom he had always kept at a distance.

At a time when he could trust no one, the only person he could believe in was this master who had never deceived him.

Although this master was arrogant, treated human lives as worthless, and holed up in the Martial Arts School like a useless shut-in all day, as if he were indifferent to everything in the world, now that Peter thought about it carefully, he realized that only this master had ever truly treated him well.

Everything Zhan Liu had said to him in the past flowed through his mind. Now, looking back, every word had been a pearl of wisdom.

What a pity that he had been young and ignorant back then. He had actually ignored his master’s earnest teachings, treating them as if they had gone in one ear and out the other. He had even thought his master was morally corrupt and not a good person.

But after experiencing so many things, Peter’s entire worldview had been utterly shattered.

What was a good person?

Who was a good person?

Director Garrett? Captain America?

What his master had said was right. The times had changed. These days, the one with the bigger fist held the truth!

Good was not always good, and evil was not always evil. With the world in such chaos, how could right and wrong still be judged by the moral standards of the past?

Peter made up his mind and flew straight to the Martial Arts School. When he saw Zhan Liu, he said nothing and immediately bowed, then thumped his head against the floor several times.

"Master, I was young and ignorant before. I failed to recognize your goodness and disappointed you."

"Now this disciple sincerely regrets his mistakes. I ask that you please give me another chance."

Zhan Liu glanced at the mission progress bar in the system: 7/10. He burst out laughing and reached down to help Peter up.

"Good disciple, you have finally lived up to this seat’s expectations and successfully set foot in the Fifty Heavens!"

Although he had no idea who else had reached the Fifty Heavens, it did not matter. All he needed was ten people.

"Peter, as master and disciple, why speak so formally with me? You came to find your master because your family was detained by S.H.I.E.L.D. and they refused to return them, right?"

"That’s right. Uncle Ben is… is gone, and they’ve detained Aunt May as well."

Peter’s heart twisted with pain. Clenching his teeth against it, he said, "This disciple can use mind reading to find Aunt May, but even if I rescue her, what if Hydra tries to assassinate her? I’m afraid I won’t be able to protect her. And there’s also… there’s also Gwen…"

"Ha!" Zhan Liu sneered. "In this world, unless you are like your master, with nothing to lose, you will have weaknesses. Otherwise, you must build a force of your own. Only then can you protect the people you care about."

"That’s why I told you before that you might as well cut off Hydra’s head and take its place. If you’ve changed your mind, it isn’t too late!"

"No!" Peter shook his head. "Master, something is wrong with this world. This is not how things should be. I have decided to set this world right! So this disciple will never join Hydra!"

"Set the world right?" After hearing this, Zhan Liu burst into laughter. "Ha-ha… Good! You have ambition and ideals. With such a magnificent ideal, you may one day have hope of entering the Ultimate!"

Zhan Liu praised him, then said:

"I’ll help you rescue your aunt! And I can make an exception and let that little girlfriend of yours come here to become my disciple again. Once both of them become Magnetic Field Warriors, you can ask your senior apprentice-brother for a few sets of armor. They might not become particularly strong, but at least their safety will be guaranteed!"

"But they can’t live their whole lives wearing armor. If you want to solve this completely, you either have to wipe out Hydra or establish an organization stronger than Hydra yourself. Choose one of the two!"

Peter said firmly, "Since I intend to correct this world’s mistakes, I will inevitably need some like-minded companions. I choose the second path: building the strongest organization myself!"

"Tch!" Zhan Liu curled his lips. "What you need are powerful subordinates, not like-minded companions! Having one or two people dragging you down will be enough to give you a headache. How many more do you want?"

Peter’s resolve was firm, and there was nothing Zhan Liu could do about it.

"Hmph. You’ll suffer plenty in the future!"

He called Natasha over and instructed her, "Call Alexander Pierce and have him return Peter’s aunt within an hour. Also, tell him not to cause any more trouble for Gwen’s family. Otherwise, heh-heh…"

Natasha was shocked to learn that Councilman Pierce was also Hydra, but she had seen plenty of major events. Without showing anything, she made the call.

Although Alexander Pierce was somewhat surprised to receive Natasha’s call, he did not take it too seriously. After all, Hydra had already seized complete control of the situation. He did not believe that these former S.H.I.E.L.D. members could stir up any trouble.

After hearing what Natasha had relayed, he immediately called Ward at S.H.I.E.L.D.

"How is the conversion from Vibranium Magnetic Armor to Strong Magnetic Armor coming along?"

"We can already produce Strong Magnetic Armor at the Seventy-Five Heavens level. We’re also close to fully understanding the Vibranium Magnetic Armor technology. It shouldn’t be long before we can independently produce both types of armor at the Ninetieth Heaven level."

Ward paused, then continued, "However, we still haven’t solved the energy shield problem. Unless we overcome that hurdle, we won’t be able to deal with Matter Reconstruction."

"I see. Then Shuri is still useful to us, so we can’t stir things up too much. We’ve made quite a bit of noise lately. I wonder if she’s become suspicious." Alexander pondered this.

"She probably hasn’t. She’s immersed in research every day and barely even goes home. As for Peter’s matter, I used Ben Parker’s death as the reason for his breakdown and managed to fool her. That girl is easy to deceive, but…"

After hesitating for a moment, Ward said, "Fitz and Simmons seem to have noticed something."

"Then have someone watch them under the pretext of protecting the Tesseract. Don’t let them interfere with Shuri. Until we obtain the technology we want, Shuri cannot be disturbed. As for Peter, just send his aunt back for now. Once our technology is complete, we’ll settle all the accounts."
