Power Breaks a Thousand

A devastating shockwave erupted over the sea, then swept irresistibly in every direction.

Artoria watched the blue-white lightning erupt tens of thousands of meters away. Like a devastating blue-white thunderstorm, it indiscriminately engulfed the central area within a destructive domain of lightning.

The explosive shockwave rushing toward them, along with the raging tsunami on the sea, was merely the aftermath of that strike.

Artoria no longer had the mind to check whether the professor she had flung into the sea was alive or dead. She turned around and shielded Seraphina in front of her.

Intense magical power gathered over her armor. Having lost Avalon, she could only defend herself this way.

Artoria pushed off with her toes, and the soft ground instantly collapsed. Even so, she could not withstand the violent force crashing into her from behind.

Together with Seraphina before her, she ploughed through the wilderness and reefs atop the seaside cliffs, sliding into the distance.

Crack!

Artoria clearly felt her armor shatter. Even infused with her immense magical power, even with her resistance to energy, the excessively pure destructive force still broke through her defenses.

Artoria suddenly took a powerful step forward. Rather than resisting any longer, she stepped with the force of the impact. The hundred-meter cliff of reefs was instantly crushed beneath the violent force, collapsing into the sea before being swept up by the unceasing shockwaves and slammed against the cliff face.

Artoria, meanwhile, leaped high into the air and rode the terrifying shockwave away as though she were flying.

The tsunami then swept across the surrounding shores. The harbor near the former Holy City Latina shattered with a thunderous crash, and seawater poured back into the continent, extinguishing every wildfire.

In the sky, the several-hundred-meter scarlet giant moved nothing like a massive creature. There was no sluggishness in his movements; instead, he was as agile as an exceptionally nimble human. He floated in the air, his body naturally relaxed.

His knees bent slightly and his head tilted faintly as he watched the enormous, complex eye vanish from the distorted space overhead. Only huge golden ripples remained, spreading outward ring after ring.

At the center of those immense ripples, within the warped space, a gigantic crack appeared.

The corner of Bai Cangshu’s mouth lifted. Lawrence truly had some skill. He wielded a mysterious power system, perhaps the power of those so-called ancient gods, The Old Ones, from the cosmic stars.

But unfortunately, before sufficient power, such special forms of strength were ultimately nothing more than flashy castles in the air.

Bai Cangshu lightly clenched his fist. The air in his palm was squeezed out with a roar like a shell leaving its barrel.

At this moment, Bai Cangshu’s actual physical strength exceeded one thousand. The boost brought by Limiter release was exponential for him.

The effects of Kirin Armor, the explosive amplification of Kaio-ken, and now the one-hundred-percent boost from Limiter release, combined with the potential amplification after activating Despair Savior Mode.

Bai Cangshu had gradually formed a unique ability build. As long as his body could bear the load, every increase in his attributes would receive explosive amplification when he fought at full strength.

What did it mean for a single attribute to break one thousand? Bai Cangshu had never had any concept of it before, but at this moment, he could fully sense the tangible reality of his power—so immense it was nearly distorted.

A single clench of his fist could create an exploding air cannon.

Then what about a punch?

Bai Cangshu drew back his right arm and made the most natural punching motion imaginable. As his fist pulled back, a distinct "passage" appeared along the path of his retreating arm.

The next instant, he threw his fist straight out, just like his usual air strikes, punching into the air above.

Unlike before, when the air would liquefy around his punch and seem to form a sunken plane, this punch felt incomparably smooth.

After he threw it, there was no resistance whatsoever. The air had been completely "pushed aside" by his fist.

Before him, a gigantic blue-green fan-shaped expanse extended all the way into the sky.

It was a vacuum!

Bai Cangshu’s punch sent the vacuum wave silently blasting apart the entire sky.

He turned around and flew toward the other side of the sea. Behind him, shattered golden ripples drifted down from the air like golden raindrops.

Everything had merely been an illusion. Those golden ripples were just patterns formed in the air by fluctuations in Lawrence’s power. Bai Cangshu’s punch had directly shattered the special essence of Lawrence’s power with its vacuum wave.

The manifested ripples fell along with it.

The sea had been battered until it seemed to boil, yet the flesh giant lightly flew dozens of miles away. His enormous body paired with ghostlike movements, making him appear incomparably strange.

The King of Bronze and Fire was also one of a pair of Twins. Constantine’s heart suddenly sank, and he was seized by inexplicable panic.

The black-red dragon Norton lay in a pool of blood, cruel resolve shining in his vertical golden pupils as he stared fixedly behind Constantine.

"Go. Don’t look back."

Scorching Dragon Blood gushed from the gaping hole in his chest. In Dragon King Norton’s nostrils, incomparably blazing dragonfire was ready to erupt, while a mysterious chant had already begun.

World-Ending Spirit of Words: Candle Dragon

As a First Generation personally bred by Black Dragon Níðhöggr, and one of the Four Great Kings of dragonkind, the division of authority and power had created the Twins.

Constantine was stronger, but because of that, he was born disabled and restricted. He could not transform into a Dragon Form. At that moment, in the Golden Eyes of his savage elder brother, Constantine saw nothing but savagery—and despair.

Constantine was cowardly by nature and habitually relied on his elder brother, but at that moment, an icy shudder swept through his body and soul.

As a king who had ruled the world from the moment of his birth, innately standing at the peak of the biological hierarchy, he simply did not understand that this instinct endlessly rising from his bones was called fear.

A being of a higher biological rank had already descended here.

That was the Hunter, the Higher-up. At this moment, the Twins—the King of Bronze and Fire—were the prey!

Constantine spread his hands, and two blades instinctively fell into them.

The King of Bronze and Fire also wielded the authority of alchemy. Before the Common Era, they had forged the king-slaying weapons known as the Seven Deadly Sins.

The Kremmer Long Sword in his left hand was called Greed, while the Han Bafang Sword in his right hand was called Pride. Even acting on instinct, he had chosen the two most suitable weapons.

Constantine slowly turned around as Norton let out a savage roar.

"Didn’t I tell you to leave?!"

Surging flames erupted from within Norton in an instant, indiscriminately engulfing everything. The scorching fire began to warp space itself.

Yet the flesh giant merely floated in the air with his body relaxed, his knees hanging naturally. A mocking smile appeared upon that mangled face.

"With this little heat, are you trying to give me a hot bath?"

Within the blazing flames, golden-red energy continuously swirled around the flesh giant’s body. That energy was so intense that the flames were extinguished before they could even approach him.

Bai Cangshu deliberately descended from the air. The flames on the ground instantly scattered, revealing the charred earth beneath.

Bai Cangshu walked step by step toward Constantine’s humanoid form. He had indeed deliberately guided these two Dragon Kings into releasing that world-ending Spirit of Words.

At that moment, because of his overwhelming power, the arrogance nearly overflowing from him was plainly visible.
