Preparing the Attack

"This is a Space Stone Tablet acquired from the Collector. Once activated, it can seal off the surrounding space. Sokovia isn’t large, so this tablet can cover all of it."

Wang Bert smiled. "Steve, I’ve already figured out the situation inside the Hydra base. You can launch the attack whenever you want."

Steve was overjoyed. "Great. I’ll start making arrangements immediately."

"Good. I need some time to make adjustments, so I won’t stay any longer. Oh, Coulson, take this as an apology."

Remembering something, Wang Bert sent out a bottle of shampoo through a Space Vortex.

That was right, a bottle of shampoo. It was rather crudely made. Forget a production date—even the brand was missing. There were only three words on it: Shampoo.

Coulson climbed to his feet and couldn’t help complaining, "Mr. Wang, should I say thank you?"

"Of course you should."

Wang Bert said, "This is Hair Growth Shampoo I had the Sovereign develop based on human genetics."

"Hair Growth Shampoo?"

Coulson snatched the shampoo at top speed and asked, "It really grows hair?"

"Of course. This bottle is undiluted. If you use it continuously for a month, your hair will be guaranteed to become as thick as it used to be."

Wang Bert said, "In a few months, a diluted version will appear on the market. It can grow hair too, but you’ll have to keep using that shampoo. Otherwise, your hair will fall out."

Everyone was speechless. Skye couldn’t help saying, "Master, no wonder you became the richest man. It would make no sense if you didn’t get rich."

Steve sighed. "Seventy years later, capitalists are still just as blackhearted."

"I suggest you buy Blood God Group stock. Once this shampoo hits the market, it’ll cause a sensation. This is a massive market worth hundreds of billions."

Jarvis ran the calculations and said, "Mr. Stark’s dream of becoming the richest man is probably completely hopeless now."

"I’ll go back and calculate my salary right away."

Coulson immediately said. Skye’s eyes lit up even more. She had lived on the edge of bankruptcy for years and often went to Wang Bert’s home to work as a tutor—she needed to support those Inhumans who couldn’t earn money.

As the Inhuman Queen, she naturally had to take responsibility, just as the professor supported mutants. The problem was that Skye, unlike the professor, had no vast fortune to inherit.

Steve did not care much. His wife was rich anyway. Captain America, who had been living off his wife for several years, felt that being kept suited his tastes quite well.

"If you don’t want to get rich, why be a capitalist?"

Wang Bert laughed, and his consciousness left the temporary headquarters.

Sensing Wang Bert’s departure, Steve and the other two all breathed a sigh of relief. Wang Bert had no ill intentions, but his presence made them feel like rabbits facing a giant dragon.

Steve asked Skye, "That Bert just now didn’t seem to be Blood God’s senior brother?"

Skye said excitedly, "Master is back."

With that confirmation, Steve and Coulson were both overjoyed. With Blood God overseeing things, nothing would be a problem.

Steve took a deep breath and ordered, "Prepare to wipe out the Hydra base."

"Yes, Director."

Coulson, Skye, and Jarvis answered at the same time. Then Coulson said, "Director, can I wash my hair first? Two minutes will be enough."

"What do you think?"

Steve snatched the shampoo away irritably. "I’ll give it back to you after the war."

"Fine."

Coulson trusted his idol very much. He gave the shampoo one longing glance before turning and leaving to prepare for battle.

Looking at the shampoo in his hand, Steve touched his hair. He had worked overtime every day for more than a year and had lost quite a bit of hair. If he used a little, Coulson probably would not notice, right?

If he finds out, I’ll resign and take responsibility. I’m really not suited to being Director.

Steve was not planning to retire. He wanted to go to the Frontlines. He truly was not used to sitting in an office and commanding others. He wanted to fight alongside everyone.

Heaven knew how long it had been since Steve had last been on a battlefield. He did not even know whether that shield had "rusted."

Inside the Mind Stone, after using a duplicate to hold Wang Bert back, Supergiant drew in a huge amount of Mind Energy to condense a scepter. Because she had drawn in too much energy, her entire body glowed with yellow light, as if she might explode at any moment.

With this much energy, I can definitely control Blood God’s senior brother.

Supergiant thought excitedly, With him in hand, dealing with Blood God will be much easier.

Just as Supergiant was about to finish the scepter, Wang Bert smiled faintly and suddenly appeared behind her, swinging his hammer at her head.

"That’s impossible!"

Supergiant was shocked. Was there not a spatial shackle? Why could this guy still use Teleportation?

Supergiant was channeling the scepter and could not dodge. She could only tilt her head slightly while controlling a small amount of Mind Energy to rush at Wang Bert.

Wang Bert lightly shook his hand, changing the hammer’s direction. It shattered the Mind Energy and smashed viciously into Supergiant’s head. Supergiant instantly looked confused. Where was she? What was she doing? And why did her body feel so swollen, as if she were about to explode?

Memory Hammer!

Before Supergiant could do anything, Wang Bert’s hammer came down again. Her memories were continuously chipped away, and her eyes grew increasingly vacant.

Because of the pain, Supergiant instinctively released the energy within her body. The nearly completed scepter rapidly dissipated as a result.

"Stop!"

The duplicate rushed over, both palms swinging repeatedly as endless palm force assaulted Wang Bert. Even the surrounding void distorted slightly.

Wang Bert snorted. A cloak representing holiness and nobility appeared out of thin air behind him. The cloak then teleported beside the duplicate, wrapped around him, and trapped him inside.

God’s Cloak.

It was worth mentioning that Wang Bert had not used the Reality Stone to subdue God’s Cloak. God’s Cloak had surrendered voluntarily—truly voluntarily. After being beaten by the Spear of God for nearly a year, it had tearfully chosen to surrender.

Without God’s Cloak, how would Wang Bert dare enter the Mind Stone so casually?

After a while, Wang Bert stopped hammering. Supergiant turned her head and asked Wang Bert blankly, "Who are you? Where am I?"

Supergiant was not God-Devil Level, so she could not recover her memories as quickly as Dragon God—she had only possessed God-Devil Level strength earlier because of the Mind Stone.

Wang Bert asked, "Who I am isn’t important. What matters is who you are."

"I am Lord Thanos’s…"

Before Supergiant could finish, Wang Bert’s hammer came down. Supergiant became confused again.

I wonder how old Supergiant was when she met Thanos. I’ll just have to try slowly.

Wang Bert thought to himself. After a while, Supergiant cried out with a despairing expression, "Why can’t I kill myself? Heavens, you’re too cruel. You won’t even give me the chance to die."

Wang Bert’s body shook as he unleashed an imposing aura. "Become my subordinate, and I’ll grant you death."

Supergiant raised her head and glanced at Wang Bert skeptically. "Do you have that ability?"

Wang Bert chuckled and beckoned. God’s Cloak flew over with the duplicate wrapped inside it. Then he struck out with his palm, blasting the helpless duplicate apart on the spot.

"You have no martial virtue."

The duplicate cursed before dying. Wang Bert smiled disdainfully. "I’m this handsome. Even if I have no martial virtue, heaven will forgive me."

"Has anyone ever told you that you’re incredibly thick-skinned?"

Supergiant was speechless. "First prove that you can kill me, then I’ll surrender to you."

Wang Bert asked, "Was that proof just now not enough?"

"Of course not. I’m special. As long as my soul remains, I will never die. If you want to kill me, you must erase my soul. Please prove that you have that ability."

Supergiant said. Wang Bert smiled. "That’s simple."

As he spoke, flames lit up in Wang Bert’s eyes. He stared straight into Supergiant’s eyes and said, "You are guilty."

Supergiant instantly recalled her entire life. Her life had been filled with misery, and also with sin. Dragon Fire immediately began burning within her soul.

"I’m finally going to die."

Supergiant spread her arms, her face full of relief. At that moment, the Dragon Fire inside her soul suddenly went out.

Wang Bert said, "Serve me, and I will grant you death."

Supergiant was about to agree when a dazzling pale yellow radiance suddenly erupted from her body. Wang Bert was even forcibly pushed dozens of meters away by the light.

Immediately afterward, Supergiant’s memories rapidly returned. She shouted in shock and fury, "Don’t even think about it! My only master will be Lord Thanos!"

"Mind Stone, it seems you really want to die."

With his plan ruined at the last moment, Wang Bert cursed loudly. The Mind Stone truly hated him, even taking the initiative to help Supergiant.

The Mind Stone did not answer Wang Bert. It used actions instead of words—it crazily poured Mind Energy into Supergiant’s body as if it cost nothing.

Supergiant clapped her hands together, and a Meteorite with a long trail of light came crashing down at Wang Bert.

Wang Bert shouted and slammed both palms heavily against the Meteorite. With a boom, the Meteorite exploded, turning into countless fiery meteors that crashed into the ground with thunderous rumbles, kicking up enormous clouds of dust.

While Wang Bert dealt with the Meteorite, Supergiant used Mind Energy to split herself in two.

Next, one of the Supergiants turned into a streak of light and flew into God’s Cloak, attempting to control its consciousness.

God’s Cloak resisted fiercely. It was, after all, God’s treasure. Even the power of the Mind Stone could not easily control it.

Seeing this, Supergiant switched to disrupting God’s Cloak so that it could not respond to Wang Bert’s summons.

"You think that’s enough to defeat me?"

Wang Bert snorted. His qi transformed into an enormous Dragon God and came crashing down toward Supergiant. Supergiant shouted as boundless Mind Energy transformed into dense swarms of monsters that charged at the Dragon God.

At the same time, countless giant hands of earth emerged from underground and grabbed at Wang Bert. Wang Bert struck repeatedly with both palms, shattering many giant earthen hands with each strike, but it was useless because even more giant hands kept appearing.

Not only that, the air turned into countless chains that shot toward Wang Bert. Seeing this, Wang Bert rapidly swung both palms, defending himself so tightly that not even water could pass through. No matter what attack approached within several meters of him, it was completely shattered.

"Here, Mind Energy is omnipotent. Blood God’s senior brother, you are destined to lose."

Supergiant laughed loudly. The Mind Stone had not only given her energy, but also improved her understanding of Mind Energy. If she properly absorbed what she gained this time, she might even break through to God-Devil Level.

"By the way, Blood God’s senior brother, thank you. If it weren’t for you, the Mind Stone wouldn’t have given me so many benefits."

Supergiant was somewhat smug, though also puzzled. "Seriously, how exactly did you offend the Mind Stone? Why does it want to kill you so badly?"

"Maybe I dumped it before, and it turned its love into hatred."

Wang Bert made up nonsense while destroying everything around him. It seemed this battle would last a while.

At the Hydra base, Wasp Carter arrived at a large warehouse with neither people nor surveillance cameras under General Ross’s guidance.

Carter then returned to her normal size. She nodded to General Ross, took out a box, and pressed a button. The box quickly expanded into a large crate.

General Ross sighed. "Pym Particles are really useful. We should have taken them long ago."

"That is Dr. Pym’s private property, General Ross. Taking things by force is not S.W.O.R.D.’s style."

Carter snorted, opened the crate, and took out various complex instruments to assemble and calibrate them.

"Taking things by force is not the military’s style either."

General Ross said, "Don’t worry. From now on, my battlefield will be the Sea of Stars. I won’t do anything excessive."

Carter took out four objects and threw them to General Ross. "Good. Stick these four things in the corners of the walls."

"Alright."

As General Ross did so, he asked, "What are you doing? Can’t the Inhumans just teleport directly inside?"

"The principle behind Inhuman Teleportation is Quantum Teleportation."

Carter explained, "The Kree once suffered at the hands of Inhumans, so their base has always had instruments detecting quantum and spatial fluctuations. This device can fool the Kree instruments."

"So that’s how it is."

General Ross suddenly understood. He asked, "Wait, has Earth’s mastery of quantum technology already surpassed the Kree?"

"More or less. We obtained a large amount of Sovereign technology, and Sovereign quantum technology ranks among the top three in the universe."

Carter said. General Ross’s eyes lit up, and he looked forward to the future Sea of Stars even more.

What was the point of fighting a Civil War? Fighting aliens was a soldier’s romance.

Very soon, Carter finished her preparations. She sent out a signal, and Gordon appeared in the warehouse out of thin air with Skye and a large group of Inhumans.

After confirming that the warehouse was safe, Gordon disappeared again. He needed to go back and bring the others over.

Skye walked up to Carter and handed her a miniature package. "Ms. Carter, this is the Super Energy Bomb you wanted."

"Good. I’ll use it to destroy the Hydra base’s Defense Shield device."

Carter took the miniature package and placed it at her waist. "Ant-Man has already gone to spread the Hypnotic Gas. The Hydra base has poor ventilation both in the castle and underground, which is perfect for the Hypnotic Gas to work."

"That’s good."

Skye nodded. "Once the Hypnotic Gas takes effect, we’ll move."

General Ross could not help asking, "With Kree and Hydra technology, will they discover the Hypnotic Gas? And how effective is it?"

"Don’t worry. This is top-grade Hypnotic Gas purchased from the Shi’ar Empire. Unless the Kree happen to have instruments specifically designed to detect it, they won’t notice anything."

Ivan, who had just been teleported over, said, "Also, this Hypnotic Gas is extremely effective. It works even on Inhumans and Enhanced Humans."
