Primal Heavenly Venerate Seeks Cooperation

Warning: Body damage has reached 85%. The body has suffered damage from an unknown force.

Warning: Vital signs are declining. Initiating repair procedures.

Warning: Core essence damaged. Procedures obstructed.

.

A cacophony of alarms rang beside Guilliman’s ears.

He slipped into a dazed state.

His mind seemed to have crashed.

His senses became fragmented as well.

Lion El’Jonson and Sanguinius’s calls gradually faded into the distance.

The two Primarchs helped the collapsing Guilliman up.

They called Guilliman’s name, yet received no response.

Only after activating the Gene Engines within themselves to examine Guilliman did they discover that vast portions of his body had been damaged.

An inexplicable force was also preventing his body from healing itself.

Most importantly, Guilliman’s soul seemed to have been injured as well.

"Something is wrong. We must take him back immediately," Sanguinius said.

Lion El’Jonson saw the problem as well and nodded repeatedly.

The two did not dare delay.

They immediately opened a spacetime passage, sent Guilliman back into the fortress, and summoned the medical team for emergency treatment.

Battlefield intelligence traveled swiftly.

News of the Primarch’s injury spread rapidly, causing an uproar and widespread unease.

Countless people showed shock and grief upon hearing the news.

Many others quickly took action and prayed for Guilliman.

They hoped the Thirteenth Primarch would pull through.

The clean, sterile medical deck resembled a gleaming desert.

Steel cabinets stood against the tiled walls.

Cold, soulless glass rooms and laboratories crisscrossed the area.

Upon learning that their Primarch had been severely wounded and had fallen unconscious,

the Ultramar Four Heroes, Tauno, Aex, Valentus, and Stross abandoned their duties and hurried back to the fortress.

They hurried through the labyrinthine corridors and reached the place where the Primarch was being treated.

They stepped onto the immaculate medical deck.

Silver cabinets and humming medical equipment surrounded their Primarch on all sides.

Apothecaries operated the medical machinery, injecting fluids meant to stabilize vital signs into the Primarch’s body as they treated him.

But the results were minimal.

The Primarchs had been created by the Emperor, and their majestic bodies contained the deepest secrets of both the material and immaterial realms.

They had also been implanted with the most advanced Gene Engines, granting them the power to control the laws of the universe.

In a sense, Primarchs were gods.

There was little the Apothecaries could do.

They could only patch up Guilliman’s damaged areas and prevent his condition from worsening further.

The Ultramar Four Heroes entered and saw their Primarch lying on the hospital bed.

His azure power armor was shattered beyond recognition.

His once lustrous muscles had been charred black.

Blackened bones could even be seen beneath parts of his face.

The moment they saw their Primarch, panic, terror, helplessness, and countless other emotions rose within the four of them.

"How could this happen?! My lord is the Emperor’s son and possesses the power of a god!"

Tauno, hailed as a hero and demigod, became utterly at a loss.

He was visibly panicking.

At this moment, the renowned demigod hero was as helpless as a child who did not know what to do.

The other three heroes were equally stunned by the Primarch’s miserable state.

Overwhelming fear seized their hearts in an instant, crashing their extraordinary minds.

Every one of them bore injuries and exhaustion on their faces.

From the beginning of the battle until now, they had never rested, slaughtering without pause on the most dangerous battlefields.

Yet the injuries inflicted by their enemies were nowhere near as painful as learning that their Primarch had been wounded.

"Sages, over here."

Lion El’Jonson shouted loudly.

He reached out and moved the four heroes aside, clearing a path for the Adeptus Mechanicus Sages who had rushed over upon hearing the news.

Several Sages involved in biology, engines, and similar fields were all enormously bloated.

Clad in loose crimson robes and fitted with numerous metallic prosthetic limbs, they required anti-gravity chassis to support their heavy bodies and allow them to move freely.

The Sages approached Guilliman, who lay on the medical bed, and examined his condition.

The floating projection screens around them displayed various values and data curves as their mechanical limbs moved.

After a while, the Sages determined why the Primarch had collapsed and why he could not heal himself.

"He has suffered damage from a rule-based power called Annihilation."

"This unique power has destroyed the protective force field around the Primarch and also prevented the repair procedures from operating. The residual power of Annihilation must be removed from his body before the Gene Engine within him can function normally."

"It was The Fallen." Sanguinius recalled the attack The Fallen had unleashed against Guilliman.

It seemed that the beam which had swallowed Guilliman contained more than pure energy. It may have been mixed with something else.

"We need to perform surgery, attempt to extract the power of Annihilation, then guide the Gene Engine within him to repair his body," a biological Sage said.

Lion El’Jonson nodded. "Please, you must save my brother."

Sanguinius nodded as well, placing his hopes upon the Sages.

By the time Magnus and Corvus arrived, Guilliman had already been wheeled into the operating room.

Lion El’Jonson, Sanguinius, and the Ultramar Four Heroes waited anxiously in the corridor.

Because Guilliman had been injured, Corvus’s meeting with Lion El’Jonson and Sanguinius was hardly an exciting one.

Both sides simply exchanged their names and Legion affiliations before that was it.

It was not that Lion El’Jonson and Sanguinius did not welcome Corvus.

The main issue was that Guilliman had been wounded and collapsed, while the fortress had just endured a fierce battle. They truly had no energy left to hold any celebration for Corvus.

Corvus understood as well.

On his way here, he had seen the fortress’s current state.

Although the Transformers’ surprise attack had been defeated, the Imperium had suffered many casualties, and people were being rescued everywhere.

Watching his two Primarch brothers worry over Thirteenth’s injury, the Lord of Ravens felt many emotions stir within him.

The scene of the three Primarchs battling The Fallen remained etched in his mind.

Guilliman tore space apart and twisted the Law of Time with every gesture, appearing even more powerful than the gods imagined by mortals.

Yet now, he had fallen and lay on a medical bed.

The brutality of the war across the heavens was plain to see.

Even possessing terrifying power comparable to that of gods did not guarantee absolute safety.

"If we encounter The Fallen again, I will never let him go."

Lion El’Jonson’s voice was filled with suppressed fury.

"Nothing will happen to him," Sanguinius said.

The Primarchs waited anxiously for the surgery’s outcome.

At that moment, points of light appeared in space for no apparent reason.

Those points of light then gathered together, forming a projection that appeared before Lion El’Jonson and Sanguinius.

A spherical mechanical lifeform appeared on the projection screen.

It was incomparably enormous.

It occupied a vast expanse of starry space.

Its eyes contained ancient wisdom.

The sort that could only settle after an unknown span of existence.

"Outsiders," the mechanical lifeform said. "I am Primal Heavenly Venerate."

"Mechanical lifeform, damned enemy, how dare you appear here!" Tauno shouted uncontrollably, his eyes bloodshot.

His Primarch had been wounded, and his heart was filled with rage.

The moment he saw a Transformer, a savage urge to kill rose within him for no reason, and he wished he could smash it to pieces.

Lion El’Jonson stopped the Ultramar Four Heroes from doing anything excessive in time.

Before coming here, Raven had told them some things about the Transformers Universe.

The Transformers Universe had been created by Supreme Lord Taijun, who created two creator gods to help himself reshape the universe.

One was Unicron, and the other was Primal Heavenly Venerate.

After Supreme Lord Taijun was betrayed by Unicron, Primal Heavenly Venerate had continuously fought against that traitor.

But in the end, he had still been unable to defeat Unicron and had disappeared to hide somewhere unknown.

And now, he actually dared to appear before them.

"What do you want?" Lion El’Jonson looked at Primal Heavenly Venerate, his tone frigid and utterly devoid of reverence for a creator god.

"Join forces with you to deal with Unicron," Primal Heavenly Venerate said bluntly.

"After so many battles, I am sure you have already experienced his strength."

"Unicron is a creator-level existence. The minions and power he has unleashed so far are merely the tip of the iceberg. Only by cooperating with me will you stand a chance."

"We do not trust you," Lion El’Jonson said. "Who knows whether you have allied with Unicron to deal with outsiders like us?"

"There is absolutely no possibility of an alliance between him and me," Primal Heavenly Venerate said. "There is only pure hatred between us. Unicron stole everything I created, twisted my children into his evil minions, and made them serve his ambitions."

"The Cybertron civilization besieging you was originally my child. I created Cybertron and created the Thirteen Primes. That fellow is nothing but a vile thief. He stole all of it and even forced me to hide at the edge of the universe."

Lion El’Jonson stared at Primal Heavenly Venerate in the projection, frowning as he considered his words.

"We should ask Terra first," Sanguinius stepped forward and said. "After all, he is a creator-level existence. We know too little about beings of this level."

Sanguinius had more to consider.

Cooperating with a creator-level god was far too risky.

If anything went wrong, the expeditionary force would suffer a devastating blow.

While the Primarchs negotiated with Primal Heavenly Venerate, the unconscious Guilliman’s awareness grew increasingly muddled.

He heard the biological Sages praying to the Machine God and to his father.

But before he could think further, he fell into an illusory, distorted space.

Accompanied by a bout of twisting and tearing, Guilliman fell into a desolate grassland.

Various strange cries rang across the grassland, alongside twisted mountain ranges and bizarre cities like mirages.

Guilliman walked across the grassland, lost and wandering without purpose.

Suddenly, he saw light appear on the horizon.

He felt an incomparably powerful force surging across the grassland.

Then he saw a golden sun slowly rise in the dark world of his mind.

The sun’s radiance was intense, yet it carried no warmth.

It was so cold.

Piercing screams rang beside his ears.

Those voices were filled with pain, as though they had suffered some terrible injury.

The bizarre cities and twisted mountains rapidly vanished into the air like melting snow.

"My child."

A voice came from within the sun.

Guilliman recognized the voice and answered through tears.

"Father."

It was the Emperor’s projection.

Having sensed Guilliman’s pain, the Emperor projected his power into the Transformers Universe.

The Primarchs were important tools and the key to humanity’s rise.

"My child." The sun spoke once more.

Countless streams of information flooded into Guilliman’s mind.

Even with his extraordinary intellect, he could barely endure it.

He understood some things, and a little more of the power within him awakened.

"Continue carrying out your mission, Thirteenth."

The golden sun slowly dissipated, and the grassland before Guilliman shattered along with it.

He fell toward an endless abyss of darkness until light appeared.

After the tense surgery, the power of Annihilation shrouding Guilliman’s body dissipated.

The Gene Engine implanted in his body began operating again, repairing Guilliman’s body and rapidly restoring him to peak condition.

Not long afterward, Guilliman opened his eyes, leaving the biological Sages enormously relieved.

Upon learning that their Primarch had awakened, the Ultramar Four Heroes also breathed a sigh of relief.

They had truly been terrified just now.

Lion El’Jonson, Sanguinius, Magnus, and Corvus, the four Primarchs, entered the operating room at once.

Before they could even speak, a newly awakened Guilliman spoke first.

We must cooperate with Primal Heavenly Venerate, this is the only way to completely defeat Unicron. This is not my meaning, this is father’s meaning, I saw him.

The Volpa Rift, Gorgis System.

Indomitus was the flagship of the Death Guard, and it tore a gash in realspace to enter the material realm.

A cacophony of noise echoed across the vox-channels of the bridge.

Mortarion strode rapidly across the bridge, the crew along the way stepping aside and saluting him.

He walked up to the main control console.

Death Guard senior officer, Calas Typhon, saluted him.

My lord.

Mortarion nodded. How is the situation with the Herud?

The Herud were a xenos species only recently discovered by the Imperium.

They were a heavily cave-adapted and nocturnal scavenger species.

Stunted in stature, they constantly wore tattered cloaks to conceal their appearances, and possessed rat-like tails upon their backs.

They possessed human-like spinal skeletal structures, with limbs that could bend in any direction.

Capable of synthesizing a series of toxins, they would rapidly liquefy upon death, making biological samples difficult to capture.

The Herud could also generate a special distortion field that could deceive the eyes of any living creature, keeping them in a state of constant invisibility.

This force field also generated an entropic field, which could rapidly age the surrounding environment and living beings.

Once they undertook large-scale population migrations, they would wreak a terrifying havoc upon the worlds along their path, causing all things to rapidly age, decay, and turn to dust.

Realizing the threat posed by this species, the Imperium ordered the Death Guard Legion to sortie and annihilate them.

Calas Typhon was just about to report the gathered intelligence when a spatial rift suddenly appeared, and Raven ran out from it.

Mr. Raven? Mortarion displayed a look of astonishment. Why have you come? Does father have any new orders?

No! No! Raven shook his head. I came of my own accord. I haven’t seen you in a long time, so I came to check on you.

A trace of emotion welled up within Mortarion’s heart.

He had not expected that Mr. Raven would never forget him.

Formulate the corresponding military operation plans and submit them to me later.

Mortarion said to Typhon, then looked towards a nearby personal guard, instructing him to bring up the delicious french fries and ketchup gathered by the Fourteenth Legion.
