Apocalypse fell into an unprecedented upheaval, as though it had suddenly come alive. With Darkseid's death, the being standing behind Darkseid finally stopped holding back. The Spectre stared fixedly at Apocalypse. In the God Realm, anyone old enough knew that Apocalypse could not be destroyed. A high-level god was protecting this place and sustaining Apocalypse's existence. A terrifying power surged in from the distant edge of the God Realm. Almost instantly, it stabilized the restless Apocalypse.
