The Specter had always silently watched over the little girl. On the vast planet of Apocalypse, she was special. In that ugly world where utter darkness and sin were intertwined, she alone was the last tiny glimmer of light and hope. The Specter watched her, watched her foolishly help others time and again, repeatedly giving away the only things she possessed. Again and again, the Specter stepped in to help her evade deadly threats. The countless villains' greedy, brutal actions were all secretly thwarted by the Specter.
