Satan, Peace Conference

The three figures Wang Bert summoned were, from left to right: the enormous Multi-Headed Serpent Monster, Serpent God Set; the entirely crimson Crimson God; and the Eye Demon, whose eyeballs spun constantly.

The three ancient gods froze at once, staring at the three figures in utter shock—they were their true bodies.

That was right, their true bodies, not projections or clones, but their genuine true bodies. They even possessed complete concepts.

The Eye Demon could not help shouting, "Impossible! Our true bodies are still alive."

"They were versions of you from parallel universes. I devoured them and turned them into my puppets."

Wang Bert smiled at first, then his expression turned cold as he shouted, "Get lost, or don’t blame me for invading your dimensions and turning you into puppets too."

Serpent God Set vanished without another word. It truly hated Wang Bert to the bone, but compared to its own life, that bit of hatred was nothing.

Seth decided that it would never seek revenge on Wang Bert again. That guy was beyond its ability to provoke.

The Eye Demon’s eyes spun for a while before it asked, "When I died, was I crying or laughing?"

Wang Bert answered, "Neither. I erased your consciousness, so you just stood there stupidly without any reaction."

"Damn it, how boring."

The Eye Demon left Hell in annoyance. It did not mind tasting death, but it very much minded becoming an idiot.

"How did you kill me? In my dimension, not even a Creator God can kill me."

The Crimson God was baffled. "In my dimension, I am invincible."

"You really are difficult to kill."

Wang Bert understood that deeply. Among the three ancient gods, the Crimson God was the strongest. To kill him, the Dragon Soul Clone had even been forced to snap his fingers.

Without that snap, the Dragon Soul Clone could not have killed the Crimson God at all—he could not only revive at any time, but also manipulate Timelines.

Wang Bert added, "But I still killed you."

"What a pity."

The Crimson God shook his head and turned to leave. What he regretted was that Wang Bert possessed a Crimson God Puppet. Otherwise, he would definitely have settled the score with Wang Bert.

Seeing all three of its helpers flee, Hell’s Will was stunned at first, then flew into a rage—the three bastards had taken Hell Power with them. It had suffered a huge loss this time.

"Take care of all the Hell Demon Kings."

Wang Bert gave the order, and Serpent God Set immediately opened its mouth, firing one destructive beam after another at the Demon Kings. Screams rang out everywhere.

Hell’s Will panicked and frantically poured Hell Power into the Demon Kings. Unfortunately, it was useless, because Demon Kings had limits.

No matter how much water you poured into a bucket, it could only hold so much.

Before long, every Demon King had been defeated. The Blood Puppets attached themselves to the Demon Kings and replaced them.

Several dozen Hell Demon Kings had all become Wang Bert’s puppets, leaving Hell’s Will completely out of options.

Hell’s Will was not a true lifeform. It was merely an aggregate of collective consciousness, and it needed Hell Demon Kings to fight for it. Now that all the Hell Demon Kings were gone, it had only one way left if it wanted to keep fighting—forcefully promote ordinary demons into Demon Kings.

The problem was, even veteran Demon Kings could not defeat the Blood God. What use would new Demon Kings be? They were far weaker than the old ones.

Worse still, Wang Bert had not personally made a move from beginning to end. There was already a faint trace of a Creator God’s bearing about him.

Leaning back in his chair, Wang Bert asked again, "Hell’s Will, do you support or oppose Adam becoming Satan?"

Hell’s Will fell silent. A moment later, all of Hell shook as endless power gathered around Adam. Adam’s aura rose wildly, and a force of concept even began to reverberate around him.

The concepts of evil and chaos—these were Hell’s concepts, and also Satan’s concepts.

"Satan!"

All the Hell demons knelt toward the Hell Hall in unison, congratulating the birth of the new Hell Lord.

These demons did not know that this Hell Lord was a true Hell Lord, one beyond even Hell’s Will’s control.

In fact, after helping Adam advance, Hell’s Will immediately hid itself to avoid further humiliation.

"Being Satan feels great. Hey, get up. That’s my seat."

Adam laughed smugly, then rose to his feet and shouted at Wang Bert. Wang Bert rolled his eyes and said, "Does this count as small man triumphant?"

With that, Wang Bert got up and gave Adam the seat. Adam sat down arrogantly and even put his feet on the conference table. After a while, he said, "It’s nothing special. It’s not even as comfortable as the Nano Chair at my place."

"This is called power. What the hell do you know?"

Wang Bert said, "Hell’s Will has been subdued and won’t cause trouble again. Get your forces organized as soon as possible. A cosmic war could break out at any time, and when it does, we’ll need Hell’s army as cannon fodder."

"No problem. Hell has plenty of things, but cannon fodder is the most plentiful."

Adam laughed. "I’ll support you with everything I have."

"Good."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction. That was why he had been in such a hurry to unite Hell—he could not bear to use Earthlings as cannon fodder.

"I have a date tonight. Handle the rest yourself."

Wang Bert put away the ancient god puppets and said, "I’ll leave those Blood Puppets with you. They’ll obey your orders one hundred percent."

"They’re all puppets. I won’t have anyone to talk to anymore."

"Lord Satan, I’m not a puppet. I can keep you company and talk about anything."

The Succubus Lord hurriedly spoke up. She was now immensely glad about her choice. The Blood God was simply too powerful—he had even forced Hell’s Will to submit beneath his feet.

The Succubus Lord now felt that the Blood God was even more handsome than Adam. Could he be a reincarnated Creator God? How else could he possibly be this strong?

In human terms, it was completely unscientific.

"You’re worse than puppets. You try to take advantage of me every day."

Adam looked disgusted. Wang Bert could not be bothered with them. He waved his hand and teleported to Mars.

That was right, Mars. The Earth Federation, still in the process of being formed, had built a warship base on Mars and had been producing warships there all this time.

"Bert, when will the cosmic war break out?"

When Steve spotted Wang Bert, he came over and asked, "Over the past few months, all resources have been shifted toward the military. Many countries are unhappy about it."

"It will break out in less than a month. I can already smell war and death in the air."

Wang Bert shook his head and said, "My goal is to stop the enemy outside the Solar System, but with our current forces, we simply don’t have enough troops."

"It’ll break out in less than a month? Really?"

Steve was shocked. Could it really be that soon? "Don’t worry too much. Death knows how strong I am, so Earth won’t be the initial battlefield. Still, Earth will be drawn in sooner or later."

Wang Bert said, "Also, don’t count on me too much, because Death will definitely find someone to deal with me."

"That makes sense."

Steve nodded and said, "I’ll suppress those objections and prepare for war with everything we have."

"Mm."

Wang Bert nodded. Thinking of something, he asked Steve, "Has contact with Future Time-Space been restored?"

"No. Tony said that the Quantum Tunnel leading to Future Time-Space has been sealed by some technological force. That force is extremely profound, and even he can’t crack it."

Steve shook his head. "I hope the people in Future Time-Space are all right. They’ve suffered enough already."

"I hope so too. We’ll deal with it when the time comes."

Wang Bert shook his head. At a time like this, he truly had no time to worry about Future Time-Space. Whatever happened, they could only resolve it themselves.

Wang Bert gazed into space and muttered, "Where will the first battlefield be?"

The Kree Empire’s main territory lay in the Large Magellanic Cloud. At this moment, on a planet in the right-hand region of the Large Magellanic Cloud, the renowned Inhuman Queen Skye was listening to a report from the prophet Raina.

Raina served as the seer of the Inhuman Kingdom and also worked as Skye’s secretary. She reported, "This month’s minerals and energy have been prepared and can be traded with Earth at any time.

"Also, Vibranium has been added to Earth’s trade list. Queen, should we exchange for some?"

"Vibranium? Since when has Wakanda become so generous?"

Skye was surprised. "Don’t they treat Vibranium as a family heirloom?"

Raina smiled. "It’s Vibranium from the Osborn Corporation. The Blood God seems to have found a Vibranium mine somewhere else, and Wakanda is panicking now."

Skye suddenly understood. "So it’s Master’s Vibranium. Exchange for some, then. Vibranium is the toughest metal in the universe, and it’s hard currency anywhere."

Raina nodded and continued, "All right. General Ross has applied to attack Sky Blue Star. He says he is ready."

"What did Commander-in-Chief Frank say?" Skye asked.

"Commander-in-Chief Frank disagreed. He said that, according to the Blood God’s information, a cosmic war is about to break out. This is not the right time to start a war."

"Then reject General Ross’s request. Tell him to train those Kree Recruits properly first. There will be no shortage of wars in the future."

"All right."

Raina said, "Gordon has captured another dozen or so Skrull spies. It seems they have no intention of giving up."

"Damn Skrull Empire."

Skye cursed bitterly. The Skrull Empire was extremely interested in Inhumans. They did not dare go to Earth, but when they heard that the Inhuman Kingdom had been established, they immediately sent a large number of spies to infiltrate it and secretly abduct Inhumans.

At first, the Inhuman Kingdom had not discovered this—Skrulls possessed shapeshifting abilities. After kidnapping someone, they would transform into that Inhuman’s appearance and continue living as usual. On the surface, no one had disappeared at all.

Later, due to certain events, the Inhuman Kingdom uncovered the Skrull Empire’s scheme. Skye was furious and immediately began purging Skrull spies, but she had not expected the Skrull Empire to persist in targeting Inhumans.

"According to my investigation, Skrull Nobles can replicate the abilities of us Inhumans."

Raina sighed. "Unless we can become as powerful as the Blood God, they won’t let us go."

"One day, I’ll make them pay."

Skye cursed and ordered, "Commission Dr. Richards to develop a large-scale Skrull scanner. I want those Skrull spies to have nowhere to hide."

The reason the Inhuman Kingdom had been able to identify Skrulls was because Dr. Richards had developed a Skrull scanner years ago, to prevent Earth from being infiltrated by Skrulls. Honestly, without that scanner, the Inhuman Kingdom probably could not have handled the Skrull spies.

Skrull spies, who could shapeshift at will, were infamous throughout the universe. Even the Kree Empire had suffered greatly at their hands in the past.

Why could Dr. Richards develop a scanner while the Kree Empire could not? Heh, because Earth was blessed with talented people.

Raina smiled. "All right, I’ll place an order with Dr. Richards. He just went bankrupt again a few days ago, so he badly needs our business."

Skye complained, "He went bankrupt again? How many times has that been now?"

"Can’t be helped. He invested in a luxury goods company, but then the Blood God ordered the entire world to prepare for war, and the luxury goods company went bankrupt on the spot. His wedding has been postponed again because of it. Gossip reports say Sue is planning to break up with him."

Raina smiled. It was perfectly normal for two women to gossip when they were together.

"It’s all fate. He has the fate of career misfortune, while I have the fate of bringing death to husbands."

Skye sighed. As the Inhuman Queen, she naturally had many suitors. The problem was that they either died in battle or were severely injured in natural disasters. As a result, Skye had not gone on a date for over a year.

"That’s because your destined man hasn’t appeared yet."

Raina smiled and continued, "The Shi’ar Empire has invited you to a peace conference. They want to mediate the Kree Empire’s Civil War."

"Do they have some kind of scheme? Like wiping us all out in one go?" Skye asked.

"Probably not. The Shi’ar Empire often mediates wars. They even mediated the war between the Kree Empire and the Skrull Empire before."

Raina said, "Their mediation method is quite special. Whoever refuses gets beaten up."

"So overbearing?"

Skye thought for a moment and said, "Tell them I will attend. This is not the right time for war."

"All right."

Raina nodded and said, "The meeting will be held on Krylar, the Kree Empire’s former capital."

"I’ve been there."

Skye smiled. "That’s where I killed the Supreme Intelligence."

Half a month later, Krylar, peace conference.

To ease the atmosphere, the Shi’ar Empire had specially organized a welcome reception. Although the various warlords were displeased at the sight of one another, under the Shi’ar Empire’s deterrence, they did nothing excessive and gathered in small groups to talk.

To the Kree Empire, Skye was an outsider, so none of the warlords came to speak with her. However, she was not alone, because the green-skinned Third Prince of the Skrull Empire was talking with her.

The Third Prince had come partly to sabotage the peace conference, and partly to court Skye.

The Skrull Empire coveted Inhumans immensely. They wanted to use a marriage alliance to completely absorb the Inhuman Kingdom. By then, the Skrull Empire’s strength would surely soar.

Skye was very… pleased by this, chatting and laughing with the Third Prince while silently praying that heaven would show mercy and kill him outright. Crippling him or something would be letting him off too easily.

You dare pursue me? Do you think my husband-killing fate is a joke? Wait, what is there to be proud of about that?

Skye complained inwardly. Seeing that Skye treated him warmly, the Third Prince was overjoyed. If he could win Skye over, the Queen would certainly praise him greatly.

"Queen Skye, may I have the honor of inviting you to visit the Skrull Empire?"

Seeing that the atmosphere was good, the Third Prince asked, "The Skrull Empire thinks highly of your Inhuman Kingdom. If you are willing, we can establish diplomatic relations."

"I’ve been rather busy lately. Let’s discuss it in a month or two."

Skye did not refuse. In a month or two, this guy should already be dead, right? After Skye became Queen, the power of her husband-killing fate had risen dramatically.
