Fellow Disciples Clash

"Wonderful. I’ll be sure to give you a proper welcome then."

Seeing that Skye had not refused, the Third Prince was overjoyed and somewhat smug— even the Queen of the Inhumans could not escape his charm. He really was far too handsome.

The Third Prince did not know that, in Skye’s eyes, he was no different from an orc in a game.

Thinking of something, the Third Prince casually asked, "Queen Skye, what do you think of this peace gathering?"

"What can I think? The tiny Inhuman Kingdom does not even have the right to speak before the Shi’ar Empire."

Skye put on an act and sighed. "They say peace, so we can only make peace."

"The Shi’ar Empire is far too overbearing. Peace is important, but how can they obtain it this way?"

The Third Prince was delighted and said, "If you disagree, the Skrull Empire will help you."

The Skrull Empire and the Kree Empire were mortal enemies. Naturally, they did not want the Kree Empire’s Civil War to end. In fact, the Skrull Empire strongly suspected that the Shi’ar Empire’s actions this time were aimed at them.

"Your Highness, the Inhuman Kingdom is small. We can only go with the flow."

Skye said, "If the other warlords agree, I can only agree. If the other warlords disagree, I will disagree as well."

"Rest assured, the others will not agree."

The Third Prince smiled and went to persuade the other warlords to resist the Shi’ar Empire together.

An idiot who thinks far too highly of himself.

Skye sneered inwardly. At that moment, a lavishly dressed woman wearing a feathered hat and looking little different from a human approached her, accompanied by an armored man.

The woman introduced herself. "Hello, I am the Seventh Princess of the Shi’ar Empire. You may call me Anna."

Skye shook her hand and said, "Hello, I am Queen Skye of the Inhuman Kingdom."

After the two women exchanged a few pleasantries, Princess Anna asked, "Queen Skye, I heard you are the Blood God’s disciple?"

"Yes, the Blood God is my Master."

Skye did not deny it. This identity was very important to her. With it, no one would dare go too far against her.

Because no one could afford to offend her Master.

"Please convey my greetings to your respected Master. He is a worthy and admirable powerhouse."

After expressing her respect, Anna continued, "Queen Skye, Gladiator, the captain of our Shi’ar Empire Royal Guard, was captured by the Blood God several years ago. Could you plead with the Blood God on our behalf? The Shi’ar Empire is willing to redeem Gladiator with a Resource Star."

"I will ask him for you, but do not place too much hope in it. The fact that my Master has not released Gladiator after so long means he does not intend to release him."

"If he refuses to release our captain, our Royal Guard will not let this matter rest."

The armored man shouted loudly. Skye smiled disdainfully and said, "You will not let things rest with my Master? What are you supposed to be? You think you are worthy of opposing my Master?"

The armored man flew into a rage and was about to say something when Anna raised her hand to stop him. Then, Anna said, "Queen Skye, your Master is very strong, but no matter how strong he is, he is only one person."

Skye raised her wineglass, too lazy to say more. The Three Great Empires were indeed powerful, and their territories were vast, spanning several star systems at a time. But so what? This world valued quality, not quantity.

The former Wang Bert had needed a sneak attack to deal with the Supreme Intelligence. The current Wang Bert could easily destroy Krylar, just as Galactus had once devoured the Skrull Empire’s capital planet.

Skye’s attitude angered both Anna and the armored man. Neither said anything further, and they turned to leave.

Anna was seething inside and decided to make trouble for Skye. They truly could not afford to offend the Blood God, but what gave a mere disciple of the Blood God the right to be so arrogant? After the welcome reception ended, Anna summoned the warlords to a nearby conference room. Then, she got straight to the point. "Her Majesty does not wish to see the Kree Empire’s people suffer, so she sent me to mediate. The Kree Empire cannot continue its Civil War."

None of the warlords spoke. What a joke—just because she said there would be no Civil War, there would be none? "You can learn from our Shi’ar Empire and adopt a parliamentary system. Everyone can vote to select a new leader."

Anna continued, but the Third Prince of the Skrull Empire sneered. "A parliamentary system? You people have already run yours into the ground, and you still want others to imitate you?"

The Shi’ar Empire’s parliament had originally been established to placate the forces it annexed. But as time passed, the parliament grew increasingly powerful, until even the royal family could no longer suppress it.

In recent years, the conflict between the parliament and the Shi’ar royal family had grown increasingly intense. They could start fighting at any moment.

Anna snorted coldly. "Of course the Skrull Empire wants them to remain in Civil War."

"The strong prey on the weak, and the strong rule. What is wrong with using Civil War to decide a true king?"

The Third Prince snorted. "What difference is there between a makeshift rabble and a scattered mess?"

Quite a few warlords nodded. The Kree revered strength. They preferred to choose a king through war rather than establish some parliament.

"That is not how it should be seen. War will kill many people. The Shi’ar Empire will never allow the Kree Empire’s people to suffer and bleed like rivers."

Anna retorted. The Third Prince argued with her without the slightest courtesy. Some warlords supported Anna, while others supported the Third Prince, and the conference room descended into endless bickering.

Skye quietly played the part of a beautiful woman and said nothing at all. Then someone turned the flames on her. "Come to think of it, it seems there is a wanted criminal among us."

Everyone turned to look at Skye. Skye said calmly, "The Inhumans carry Kree blood. I am the strongest person in the Kree Empire. What is wrong with competing for the throne of the Kree Empire?"

"The strongest? You?"

A burly man snorted. "The one who killed the Supreme Intelligence was your Master, the Blood God, not you."

"Then why is my name on the wanted poster?"

Skye sneered. "If my Master killed it, why did you not put his name on the wanted poster?"

The warlords immediately became somewhat embarrassed. It was not that they did not want to, but that they did not dare.

"If any of you refuse to accept me, feel free to attack the Inhuman Kingdom. I will take all of you on."

Skye looked at the warlords and snorted. "Of course, you can also kill me here. Perfect—I want to kill you trash as well. Do not misunderstand. I am not targeting any particular one of you. I am saying that all of you are trash."

A warlord slammed the table and shouted angrily, "Skye, do not get too arrogant!"

"You dare slam a table at me?"

Skye snorted and placed her hand on the conference table. A moment later, the table turned into fragments and came crashing down.

Everyone was shocked and instinctively moved farther away from Skye. Under their fearful gazes, Skye calmly said, "So what if I am arrogant? Do I not have the right to be arrogant?

"The Kree Empire needs me, not useless trash like you. Only I can make the Kree Empire one of the Three Great Empires again."

The warlords gritted their teeth but did not dare say anything, because they feared Skye would beat them to death.

However, some warlords looked at Skye with admiration. The Kree Empire truly needed a powerhouse like her.

The Skrull Third Prince was initially stunned by Skye’s display, then his face lit up with delight. The stronger Skye was, the more beneficial it was to him, because Skye had a very favorable impression of him.

In contrast, Anna’s expression was ugly. She asked in a deep voice, "Queen Skye, do you wish to continue the war?"

"If people do not provoke me, I will not provoke them. My current territory is enough for now."

Skye’s meaning was obvious. Once her territory was no longer enough, she would expand through war.

Anna shouted coldly, "The Shi’ar Empire hopes you will maintain peace."

Skye remained utterly unafraid. "I already said I will not wage war anytime soon."

Anna grew even more furious and was about to say something when, with a bang, the doors were smashed open. Then, a cold and noble woman with a trace of deathly charm slowly rode into the room atop a giant wolf.

Anna shouted in shock and fury, "Who are you? Where are the guards?"

"My apologies, but all your guards are dead. Do not worry, they died peacefully and did not suffer much."

The woman smiled. Her gaze swept across the room before settling on Skye. Skye was stunned. Why was Hela here?

Wang Bert had told Skye about Hela before, so Skye recognized her.

"What? They are all dead? Iron Mask, seize her."

Anna was startled and hurriedly shouted at the armored man beside her. Without a word, the armored man slammed his fists together and charged at Hela like a rumbling tank. The entire hall shook from his charge.

"As expected of a member of the Shi’ar Empire Royal Guard. He is truly formidable."

Seeing this, the warlords felt greatly reassured. One warlord sneered, "Hmph, who knows where this fool came from, daring to offend the Shi’ar Empire?"

"Man Bull."

Hela smiled disdainfully and patted Fenrir’s head. Fenrir casually swung a paw, and with a bang, the armored man smashed through the wall and flew far away like a meteor.

Everyone’s expressions changed. They hurriedly sent orders to their fleets, telling them to come provide support.

"Iron Mask, Iron Mask…"

Anna urgently called for Iron Mask, but there was no response at all. Clearly, Iron Mask was already dead.

Damn it.

Anna cursed inwardly. Thinking of something, she turned to Skye and said, "Queen Skye, please act and stop this madwoman."

Although she knew Anna had malicious intentions, Skye still rose to her feet and asked Hela, "Junior Sister, what are you trying to do?"

"Junior Sister?"

Everyone was stunned. This woman was also a disciple of the Blood God? Was the Blood God planning to strike against them?

"Junior Sister? Skye, I entered under Master before you. I am your Senior Sister."

Hela said unhappily. Skye replied, "No. Little Hela entered before me, not you. You entered after me, so you are my Junior Sister."

Hela was speechless. Thinking it over carefully, she really had entered later than Skye. She snorted. "Who is the Senior Sister is unimportant, because all of you will die today."

"You want to kill us?"

Skye was stunned. Thinking of something, she asked, "Do you want to wipe us all out in one stroke and then unite the Kree Empire?"

"If you dare do this, the Shi’ar Empire will not let you go."

Anna immediately said this. This gathering had been hosted by the Shi’ar Empire, and the warlords had been summoned by them. If something happened, the Shi’ar Empire would become the laughingstock of the Entire Universe.

The Third Prince also said, "The Skrull Empire will not let you go either."

"Not unite. Destroy."

Hela smiled and said, "There are too many people. The universe has long been unable to bear the burden. I will help the universe restore balance."

Skye asked in shock, "Restore balance to the universe? You want to become a second Thanos?"

Everyone sucked in a cold breath. "Thanos?"

Hela flipped down from Fenrir and said arrogantly, "This is all for the universe. Now, kneel obediently and enjoy this glory."

"Dream on, bitch. You are the one who will die."

A warlord suddenly cursed loudly. The next moment, a small energy blast shattered the palace ceiling, and countless warships appeared above them.

They were the warlords’ warships. In other words, the reinforcements had arrived.

At the warlords’ commands, every warship aimed its energy cannons at Hela. Believing victory was in their grasp, the warlords sneered smugly at Hela. "Who needs to kneel now?"

"A bunch of ants."

Hela smiled disdainfully and ordered coldly, "Begin the attack."

As Hela spoke, a massive fleet of over a hundred Arthrosian warships appeared in space.

Immediately afterward, hundreds of energy blasts densely fired at the warlords’ warships. More than a dozen warlord warships exploded in the air on the spot, trailing flames and black smoke as they fell toward the ground.

The warships were horrified and hurriedly raised their Defense Shields, turning their cannons toward the Arthrosian warships in space. A great battle erupted in an instant, with energy flashes and explosions everywhere.

The Krylar warlord shouted in disbelief, "Impossible! Where did this fleet come from? Why did the surveillance satellites not detect it?"

Hela looked disdainful. Arthrosian warships were half-mechanical and half-living, possessing extremely powerful stealth capabilities. Mere surveillance satellites could not detect them at all.

"Hela, what exactly are you trying to do?"

Skye shouted in shock and fury while ordering the Blood God to flee. If she had guessed correctly, the great battle her Master had mentioned was about to begin.

"I already told you. Destroy you."

Hela stretched out her hand, and large amounts of Black Qi transformed into arrows that densely shot toward the warlords.

The warlords were horrified. Some hurriedly lay flat on the ground, while others activated devices on their bodies. Small Defense Shields appeared out of thin air, protecting them securely.

These warlords were all people of status, so having small Defense Shields was perfectly normal. The Third Prince and Anna directly teleported back to their warships.

Short-range spatial teleportation arrays.

"Argh! Argh! Argh…"

Screams rang out one after another as every warlord was killed by the arrows. That was right, every warlord—whether lying on the ground or protected by a Defense Shield—was killed.

Hela’s arrows were not only powerful; they also automatically tracked their targets.

When the Goddess of Death wanted you dead, how could you possibly survive?

Only Skye, Hela, and Fenrir remained in the conference hall. Skye drew the divine artifact King’s Glory from thin air and asked Hela coldly, "Hela, do you really intend to become a second Thanos and oppose us—oppose Master?"

Hela gestured for Fenrir to go into the sky and destroy the warships. Then she said, "This is my mission."

"Then do not blame me for being impolite."

Skye drew King’s Glory. A halo emerged beneath her feet, followed by stirring background music.

Hela complained, "A halo and background music? Do you not feel ashamed?"

"Master said that as long as I am not embarrassed, then everyone else will be embarrassed."

Skye kicked off hard, shattering the ground as she suddenly appeared before Hela. Her sword split down at Hela, shaking space itself.

After more than a year, Skye had become a true God-Devil Level powerhouse.
