Satoru Gojo Revives (Second Update, 3K)

The Hadouken was immensely imposing, stirring the air for several kilometers almost instantly and drawing everyone’s attention, White Face included.

She merely lowered her head and saw Kai’s destructive Hadouken.

Yet she neither recalled her Possessed Spirit nor made any move. She simply looked down at Kai with a mocking smile.

She did not actually think she had any particular grudge against this veteran Reincarnator codenamed Kai, who had gained a modest reputation in the East District.

At most, she had set him up during a mission and killed a few of his teammates.

As for the mission afterward, when he had ambushed her and killed all of her former teammates, White Face did not consider that much of a grudge either.

Reincarnators—either I kill you, or you kill me. It was merely a reasonable interaction.

The only difference was…

White Face’s eyes were full of amusement.

"I never lose."

Boom!

The Hadouken exploded in midair, and powerful shockwaves instantly swept through everything.

It possessed enough destructive power to severely injure or even kill a powerful Reincarnator, yet when the waves subsided, Kai frowned. White Face had not moved an inch and was completely unharmed.

He did not know of any alchemist in the Space capable of creating a talisman that could withstand his Hadouken.

"Boss Kai, Satoru Gojo’s corpse moved…"

Jiasu kept his voice low. Raising his head, he looked at White Face, the legendary Special Reincarnator who had once wiped out more than eight Reincarnator squads in a mission world and survived alone, and felt a little afraid.

But what felt even stranger was Satoru Gojo’s corpse, likewise bound in midair by red chains.

Its posture had changed without a sound.

Thump!

The enormous heartbeat suddenly pulsed twice more, further confirming his suspicion.

Satoru Gojo seemed… close to coming back to life.

But no one could guarantee what exactly the thing that came back would be.

If their guess about the Main Mission was correct, and the dead Satoru Gojo was the true body of the King of Curses, then once this corpse truly revived, none of them would likely escape.

Kai also furrowed his brow. He possessed a trait called absolute distance perception: no matter how space changed, he retained an absolute sense of the distance between himself and his target, as well as his own position.

Most long-range Reincarnators chose this trait, but as a fighter, he had his own unique understanding of it.

At that moment, the entire space was pitch-black, without any coordinates to mark distances or positions.

Yet Kai could still tell that Satoru Gojo’s position had changed.

The other party seemed to have moved forward by about half a meter.

Old Ghost, wearing a hannya mask, drew his katana. A chilling killing intent began to show.

As the undisputed second-strongest fighter of the Fifth Element, Old Ghost was exceptionally powerful. Feeling the movement of the air, he suddenly drew his blade through it. Both hands gripped the hilt as they moved like afterimages in an instant.

Crow!

The air let out a piercing shriek as several white sword energies tore through it, shaped like crows.

The technique known as White Crow Swordsmanship did not come from an Anime World either, but from a novel world obtained from a High-tier Reincarnator.

Its killing power was astonishing, and the several sword energies covered an enormous area, enveloping both Satoru Gojo and White Face in an instant.

White Face still wore an unconcerned smile.

"Kai, do you know?"

"You’re the only one who would obsess over those dead people, because deep down, you know that there will never again be anyone who wholeheartedly believes that you can kill me."

"That’s why you’re so indignant over their deaths."

White Face’s voice was crisp, but it would never sound pleasant to Kai.

Only when that voice wailed in agony would he feel at ease.

Pfft, pfft, pfft!

The sword energies stretching dozens of meters shattered before White Face and Satoru Gojo.

This time, without the interference of the shockwaves, both men saw clearly.

The slashes had clearly not touched either of their bodies before they collided with nothing and shattered, then dissipated.

"The Limitless Cursed Technique…"

Among the many abilities in the Jujutsu World, the technique many Reincarnators considered to have the highest ceiling was undoubtedly the Limitless Cursed Technique possessed by Satoru Gojo.

This ability, said to be close to a mathematical paradox, combined with the precise cursed energy manipulation granted by the Six Eyes, allowed Satoru Gojo to precisely control the space before him. Anything he deemed dangerous could only approach him, never truly touch him.

In a sense, this special ability was an absolute defense.

At the same time, its derived technique Blue could compress space to achieve Shrinking Ground into Inches, high-speed movement, and even Teleportation. Combined with the powerful space-based offensive release of technique reversal Red—

When Blue’s compression and Red’s extension were combined, the devastating Hollow Purple was born.

This was why, despite not reaching an exceptionally high level in pure destructive power, Satoru Gojo was still rated so highly by both the Reincarnators and the Space.

Now, such a dangerous Plot Character was about to fall and revive as the King of Curses. Jiasu could not help but tremble.

He looked toward Boss Kai and Old Ghost, hoping the two would abandon the plan.

"Look, your companion is already afraid. Deep down, he is hoping that you will abandon the plan."

White Face saw through Jiasu’s thoughts, nearly making him flee on the spot.

He wielded spiritual power and naturally possessed heightened spiritual senses. At that moment, those intense senses kept warning Jiasu.

Run. If you don’t run, you will definitely die!

Thump!

The heartbeat grew even more violent.

Behind Satoru Gojo’s corpse, those blood-red chains began pulling apart bit by bit, forcing Satoru Gojo’s limbs to bend backward uncontrollably.

White Face revealed an excited expression. She could sense that the spirit body of this king of the present era was about to dissipate.

The Gate of Yellow Springs was about to open completely.

The obsession she had stolen from Tsuchimikado Yakou seemed to be swaying violently, trying to shake her will.

"Rest easy, Yakou. I will definitely complete this Imperial Style Taizan Fukun Ritual…"

White Face’s smile was filled with greed.

"The seventh node has been found!"

Kusakabe shouted loudly. The Grade 1 Jujutsu Sorcerer from Tokyo Jujutsu High was covered in blood, though it was impossible to tell whether it was his own or that of the Cursed Spirits he had slain.

While controlling his army of Cursed Spirits to continuously assault the surroundings and consume as much of this space’s power as possible, Suguru Geto rapidly altered the node.

According to Tsuchimikado Ochiai, that person had stolen Tsuchimikado Yakou’s fate and possessed both the qualification and mission to complete the Imperial Style Taizan Fukun Ritual.

But the massive Spirit Disaster had already erupted. Theoretically, the ritual should have ended at that point.

Yet although Tokyo had become a City of Silence, Tokyo remained shrouded beneath a pitch-black barrier. The closer one got, the more Grudge Spirits and Cursed Spirits there were.

All signs indicated that while the Spirit Disaster had begun, the ritual had not ended.

The only possibility was that Satoru Gojo, the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer of the present era, who had entered alone, had done something when the ritual began.

As a result, the ritual had failed to proceed smoothly.

At the same time, that choice had caused Satoru Gojo, the invincible Jujutsu Sorcerer who could come and go freely almost anywhere, to die on the spot.

Suguru Geto knew that the Mount Tai Imperial Lord Ritual should have only forty-nine ritual nodes. Even if the other party was using a modified Imperial Style Taizan Fukun Ritual, the difference could not be too great.

As long as he changed most of the nodes to his own blood, the other party’s prayer would not succeed.

Boom!

Azure Flames ignited once more. That special existence, neither undead nor Cursed Spirit, continuously shifted between incorporeal and physical states.

Those flames capable of stealing human souls were even more terrifyingly destructive.

For a time, the Jujutsu Sorcerers had no effective way to deal with it.

Only Kusakabe’s cursed-energy-infused slashes had managed to affect the target slightly, and then…

Suguru Geto suddenly realized that Shoko Ieiri, who wielded positive energy, might be in danger.

He gave up searching for more nodes and turned toward Shoko Ieiri.

Shoko Ieiri was not skilled at fighting, nor was she interested in combat or exorcising Cursed Spirits.

But in this society, one’s interests could not determine one’s future—just as she had never expected to spend all her days in the medical room, treating colleagues left riddled with wounds by Cursed Spirits.

Just as she had never expected the kind and witty Suguru Geto to kill hundreds of ordinary people and launch a rebellion;

Just as she had never expected… Satoru Gojo to die.

Shoko Ieiri raised her head and looked at the corpse hanging in the air. Her lips moved twice before she finally exhaled the cigarette from her mouth.

"You really look terrible, Satoru Gojo."

The blood red chains pulled ever tighter backward. Satoru Gojo’s arms had already been bent completely behind him, at an angle that could only mean his bones had been torn apart.

Suguru Geto hurried over, several Special Grade Cursed Spirits gathered around him.

He noticed Satoru Gojo’s corpse in the air, but he also saw the person Tsuchimikado Ochiai had described as the Child of Destiny.

Dressed in white robes and wearing a gold-trimmed cloak, even within such a dark and sinister space, she still firmly occupied the center of his vision.

So this was the one who had killed Satoru Gojo.

"No, no, no, Suguru Geto. I didn’t kill Satoru Gojo. He chose death himself."

White Face possessed a certain degree of mind-reading ability. Looking down at Suguru Geto, she corrected his misunderstanding.

By then, the chains around her body had loosened somewhat, allowing her limited movement.

She raised a hand and patted Satoru Gojo’s corpse, which had descended before her.

"It was this man, who styled himself a Savior, who wanted to use his own life to stop me from opening the Gate of Yellow Springs."

"Deep down, he never regarded ordinary people as creatures equal to himself, yet he still chose to sacrifice his life for those inferior beings."

"What is this?"

"Jesus, the holy son?"

White Face sneered. Suddenly, she seized the crimson chains with both hands, and Satoru Gojo’s limbs instantly snapped backward.

Thump. Thump. Thump.

The violent heartbeat began pounding ever more fiercely.

"If you don’t want Yellow Springs to descend upon the world, then wake up already, Mr. Gojo… Heh, and personally kill every one of these friends of yours."

Thump!

The fierce heartbeat suddenly stopped. Satoru Gojo’s corpse slowly opened its eyes.

Crimson cursed energy instantly began to burn, and curses spread throughout the entire space.

"Hey, don’t let my Main Mission fail so early."

"Boom!"

A sound effect appeared, and then a gigantic fox hundreds of meters long suddenly emerged and swallowed both Satoru Gojo and White Face in a single bite.
