Scarlet Great Sin: Pure Agility Specialization

When A Single Thought of Silk arrived at the Private Space, she saw only Mercenary Tao lying on the large bed, bare from the waist up, his fingers rubbing together as if savoring something.

And that aloof Moon Demon—no, she should now be called Eclipse—was wrapped in a coat, feigning indifference as she twisted the doorknob beside him and teleported out of the space.

A Single Thought of Silk froze in place.

She almost suspected that she had seen wrong.

When Mercenary Tao had first captured her and forcibly made her sign a servant contract, she had indeed worried about something like this.

But after spending some time with him, she had realized that Mercenary Tao was utterly monstrous, someone with whom no private feelings could be discussed.

He radiated an innate coldness toward everyone, as though he were completely incapable of forming connections with others, much less developing feelings.

And aside from his greed for great power, A Single Thought of Silk had sensed almost no other desires in Mercenary Tao.

Neither an appetite for food nor desire for women.

A Single Thought of Silk quickly composed herself and walked up to the newly appeared bed.

"Lord Mercenary Tao, you were looking for me?"

Bai Cangshu raised his head. Within the space, most sensory abilities were ineffective, but those bound by master-servant contracts were exceptions.

Thus, he easily sensed that this powerful Reincarnator bearing the title Death Sword was far more nervous than usual.

"You’re nervous. Is it because you saw what Eclipse and I did, so you’re worried I’ll do the same thing to you?"

Before A Single Thought of Silk could answer, a powerful force dragged her closer. Her chin was seized by that hand, and her heart began pounding uncontrollably.

Feeling the peculiar sensation within his "heart," where panic and inexplicable emotions mingled together, Bai Cangshu’s smile grew more pronounced.

Just as A Single Thought of Silk felt that she would probably have to offer herself up, Black Butler and Jin Yue’an returned to the Private Space as well.

A flash of light passed over Bai Cangshu, and he was once again clad in the Black Winged Great Demon’s Coat. The bed was casually discarded by him.

The other two looked at their noses and focused on their hearts, pretending not to have seen the previous scene. A Single Thought of Silk also took the opportunity to stand beside them.

"The Far East Magic Society no longer exists. Solomon has also been slain by me. You can spread the news."

"What?!"

Black Butler’s voice suddenly rose. He rarely lost his composure, but this truly exceeded his expectations.

The Far East Magic Society was no insignificant rabble. It was a gathering with five or six high-tier Title-level Reincarnators, renowned throughout the Third Tier.

Its leader, Solomon, was a top-tier Reincarnator whom numerous Information Brokers and teams believed had a chance to contend for the Crown of Supremacy in the next title competition.

Black Butler knew a little more. Solomon’s strength was absolutely formidable—at the very least, he believed Solomon was stronger than the Death Sword, A Single Thought of Silk, before him.

Then, seeing the other three looking at him, Black Butler immediately refreshed Forced Calm on himself twice before returning to normal.

Looking at Mercenary Tao, he recalled the speed of the other man’s progress. Since Mercenary Tao had already possessed the power to fight three opponents alone and defeat Mahakala, Su Qingqiu, and A Single Thought of Silk during the previous interval between missions—

Then directly crushing the entire Far East Magic Society in a mission world now was not impossible.

He nodded, then asked again.

"Once this news gets out, many gatherings will definitely panic, and even more people will want to join your ranks. Are you planning to…"

Bai Cangshu nodded.

"Fully reveal Paradise’s existence. I will not attack any gathering that joins Paradise… well, in principle, I won’t."

Bai Cangshu harbored ambitions of completely bringing Reincarnators into the real world. He had grown tired of the mediocrity and boredom of the ordinary world, so he began using his fame to make large numbers of Reincarnators reveal themselves at once.

This would also lead to Ability Users gaining further recognition in the real world, driving changes in public perceptions. The ultimate result would be that Reincarnators could walk the world without restrictions.

The world order would be completely transformed.

Black Butler had actually guessed this outcome, but in his heart, he did not know whether Mercenary Tao’s actions would be good or bad.

People were lazy. People had comfort zones. Not many were willing to see the world undergo such a drastic transformation.

Besides… who could guarantee that the changes would be good?

Knowing the nature of Reincarnators in this era, Black Butler actually held a more pessimistic view.

But he had no way to change Mercenary Tao’s mind. After thinking for a moment, he said,

"Solomon had some connection with one of Destiny Gathering’s higher-ups…"

Bai Cangshu’s mind worked quickly. He immediately recalled that, before entering B711 World, a white-haired girl with Heterochromatic Eyes had warned him to be wary of Fatalism.

"Oh? You think that person will become my enemy because of Solomon’s death?"

Black Butler hesitated for a moment before finally shaking his head.

"I don’t know either. Destiny Gathering is very mysterious internally. Their higher-ups all possess special Fate Aspect abilities. Divination, prophecy, and similar abilities are ineffective against them, so there is very little information."

Bai Cangshu nodded without comment.

Then Jin Yue’an handed over a tablet.

"Boss Bai, quite a few Reincarnators have recently asked you to kill certain targets. These are some of the highest-value offers I selected, and also…"

Bai Cangshu scanned the offers on the tablet. Most requested the deaths of various Title-level Reincarnators, with all manner of rewards being offered.

The highest offer was from someone willing to provide one A-rank Anomaly Point and one hundred thousand Dimensional Points for Bai Cangshu to kill a Reincarnator codenamed Skylark.

Jin Yue’an had also made a note that the bidder was a remnant of Black Beast. That team had been destroyed by Skylark. Knowing they were no match for her, they wanted to use Mercenary Tao’s hand to kill Skylark.

Skylark had an excellent reputation in the East District of the Infinite Dimensional Space. She was a well-known Idealist, and as a former lone wolf, she was also extremely powerful. Few people were willing to make a move against her.

Except Mercenary Tao.

Bai Cangshu looked up at Jin Yue’an.

"And The Heaven has provided the coordinates of that Scarlet Great Sin. Their Su Enfei personally tried to capture them, but it seems she failed and suffered a minor injury."

"The information they provided says that this Scarlet Great Sin is extremely fast, a Reincarnator with an excessively specialized agility build. Their agility attribute is terrifyingly high."

"Su Enfei’s attacks were all evaded, and she was injured by an ability called Sword of Light. Su Qingqiu’s ability cannot capture targets moving too quickly, so…"

Bai Cangshu grinned. A Great Sin Reincarnator specialized entirely in agility—this was truly… excellent!

"So they’re preparing to have me act personally, correct?"

Jin Yue’an nodded, but quickly added,

"However, I have already demanded compensation from them for this. They should agree."

Bai Cangshu nodded in satisfaction. Although he had intended to personally hunt down Great Sins anyway, The Heaven’s original condition had been that after he released Su Qingqiu, they would capture this Great Sin Reincarnator for him to kill.

Such conduct had to be compensated for. That was Bai Cangshu’s way of doing things.
