Serpent God Appears

The majestic figure within the spatial rift did not crawl out like the guard commander. With a thunderous roar, he leaped through the rift and crashed onto the ground, nearly shaking the surrounding buildings apart.

No one dared let their guard down. They all looked toward the figure and saw a massive green creature clad in Lava Battle Armor, wielding a giant hammer, and radiating an aura of blood and fire. It was as terrifying as some peerless ferocious beast.

"So powerful! The reinforcements sent by the Demon King are too powerful!"

Staring at the mountain-like back before him, the fake-nosed believer trembled with excitement and could not help cheering loudly. But to his surprise, the Super Heroes were cheering too, even more enthusiastically than he was.

The fake-nosed believer stared in shock. "Have they been scared insane?"

At that moment, the green figure suddenly raised his hammer, struck a Hercules-like pose, and laughed heartily. "Surprise!"

"A very pleasant surprise, big guy. It’s been a long time. I missed you so much."

Tony laughed. The green figure was none other than Hulk, Hulk who had returned after further studies at Hell University.

The Demon God Believers were both shocked and despairing. What was going on? Why had the one they summoned turned out to be the Super Hero Hulk? It made absolutely no sense! And what kind of bad luck had they run into today? Why did this sort of thing keep happening?

"Get lost. You only miss Banner, not me. And don’t think I don’t know that your crappy machine was prepared specifically for me."

Hulk gave Tony the middle finger, then turned to the fake-nosed believer and asked with a savage grin, "You’re the one who summoned me? Did you prepare the offerings? Beautiful women, food, or maybe my merchandise?"

The fake-nosed believer shouted in disbelief, "Why are you here? I summoned the Insect Demon Lord!"

"The Insect Demon Lord? He should be about to get beaten to death by Adam right about now. The brutal kind, too. Oh, and by the way, the reason for his death is that he’s too ugly. Same as you."

Hulk did not waste another word. He brought his hammer down, smashing the fake-nosed believer and the Altar into pieces.

Then Hulk drove his feet into the ground and leaped high toward the guard commander. Two huge craters instantly appeared beneath his feet.

"Let me handle this!"

Hulk roared and slammed his hammer into the guard commander. The guard commander was sent flying like a cannonball, only stopping hundreds of meters away. He stared at Hulk with a face full of terror.

Hulk grinned and charged toward the guard commander with booming steps, each one making the ground shake violently.

Tony breathed a sigh of relief. With this big guy around, the guard commander was no longer a problem. Then he turned and walked toward Viper. It was time to settle the score.

Ghost Rider and Strange also closed in on Viper. Only Electro turned to deal with the other demons. With his Electromagnetic Railgun, he was practically taking them out one shot at a time.

"What a bunch of trash."

Surrounded by enemies, Viper cursed viciously. It was bad enough that none of her allies were reliable, but they kept strengthening the enemy too. How was she supposed to fight like this? At this point, she could only make a desperate gamble.

Holding a Vibranium greatsword, Tony said coldly, "Hydra will be completely destroyed today."

"You want to destroy Hydra? Fine, I’ll help you."

Viper snorted and raised the Serpent Crown ring in her hand. The next moment, every Hydra Enhanced Human present clutched their throats and collapsed.

It was not just those Enhanced Humans. Inside the breached Hydra Base, a large number of captives fell dead at the same time. Doom examined them and said, "It’s a magical toxin. Someone poisoned them in advance."

It was worth mentioning that the Inhumans did not die. Neither the Inhumans in the hospital nor those in the base were affected. High-ranking members such as Baron Strucker and Dr. List were also alive.

After that, Viper’s body rapidly swelled within the green light. In the blink of an eye, she had grown dozens of meters tall. But it was not over. The green light rose into the sky, and then Viper’s upper body split into seven.

When the green light faded, a gigantic seven-headed serpent appeared before everyone. The moment it emerged, the entire sky over New York went dark. A heavy divine might blanketed heaven and earth, making everyone feel as if they were carrying a mountain on their backs.

At the same time, an Evil Aura spread through all of New York City. Some people with malicious thoughts could not help picking up weapons and attacking those around them.

Just then, a clear, righteous Dragon Roar rang out from the Dragon God Cathedral. In an instant, all New Yorkers returned to normal. Looking at the knives in their hands, they sighed and helplessly put them down.

"Sure enough, something else has gone wrong."

"Hydra is not even worthy of carrying Serpent God Set’s shoes."

Strange explained gravely, "He is one of Earth’s oldest gods. He later fell and became a demon. Uh, you probably don’t want to hear all that. You only need to know that his power is second only to the Creator God. He is on the same level as Eye Demon and Crimson God."

"So he’s another hometown guy?"

Tony showed no fear. Raising his head, he asked Set, "Are you here to steal my son too?"

"Your son is perfectly suited to become my vessel."

Viper—no, more accurately, Serpent God Set—looked down at Tony with icy snake eyes and said with overwhelming pressure, "Give him to me, and I will grant you immortality and power."

"Do you know what this gesture means? If not, I can explain it to you in detail."

Tony controlled Veronica to raise her middle finger. "I’m a civilized man. I usually wouldn’t be so rude, but you aren’t worth my manners."

"Foolish humans. In that case, all of you can die."

Set could not be bothered with more nonsense. All seven heads opened their mouths at once. At that moment, a spatial ripple flashed, and Set vanished directly.

Strange shook his head. "Human cities are too fragile before gods and demons."

"It’s time New York got a Defense Shield. This city has suffered far too many disasters. It’s enough to make anyone weep."

Tony shook his head. At that moment, Strange, Ghost Rider, and Hulk, who was still beating up the guard commander, vanished at the same time.

Tony froze, then shouted angrily, "What about me? Bert, do you look down on me? You’re actually leaving me out of the final battle?"

Wang Bert’s voice rang out. "Yes, I look down on you. Got a problem with that?"

Tony nearly exploded with rage. Then Wang Bert laughed and said, "Congratulations, Tony. You’ve been promoted to dad."

Before Wang Bert had even finished speaking, a bright infant’s cry came from the delivery room. Tony was stunned for a moment, then overwhelmed with joy.

"My child has been born."

Tony swallowed and turned to head toward the delivery room. Just then, the guard commander, now left with only one hand and one leg, forcefully leaped toward him.

The Metal Demon would never retreat, even in death.

"You’re really annoying. Fine, I’ll send you on your way."

Tony flew into a rage and joined forces with the other Super Heroes to quickly finish off the remaining enemies. Given the current situation, victory was only a matter of time.

Let us turn the clock back a little. Outside Earth’s Defense Net, three Demon Gods were halfheartedly attacking the Defense Net.

Of these three Demon Gods, the one on the left was a humanoid Skeleton God with a pair of enormous bone wings. Chaotic Soul Stone flames burned in his eye sockets, making him seem rather unhinged. This was a common trait among all gods of chaos.

The one in the middle was composed of constantly flowing blood. Though humanoid, it had no facial features and looked exceedingly bizarre. It was generally known as the Blood Demon God.

As for the one on the right, it appeared to be an old man, but was actually a western dragon. That was right—it was the Lizard Dragon God, as famous in the Dragon World as the Dragon God.

"Blood God, stop hiding in there and come out to fight us. I came specifically for you."

The Blood Demon God shouted loudly. He was very interested in the Blood God. Their attributes were the same, and if he could devour the other, he would surely rise to an even higher level.

The Lizard Dragon God also shouted, "Blood God, I came for you too. Come out now."

The Soul Stone fire in Skeleton God’s eye sockets flickered as he shouted, "Blood God, I didn’t come for you. I came for the gift sent by the Demon King of Hell. Don’t come out. I want to coast through this mission easily."

The Blood Demon God and Lizard Dragon God looked at Skeleton God speechlessly. They were both wondering whether they should beat this guy up first. Just then, spatial light flashed, and Serpent God Set appeared out of thin air. Because it happened so suddenly, he was still holding his mouth open in the posture of launching an attack.

Skeleton God asked with complete sincerity, "Where did this idiot come from?"

Set immediately sprayed seven huge green pillars of light at Skeleton God. To be honest, he was furious. He had sacrificed an important chess piece, sacrificed more than half of Hydra, and finally managed to project himself onto Earth—only to be sent away in the blink of an eye.

"Enough nonsense. Attack the Defense Net together and force the Blood God out."

Everyone turned and saw the Blood God slowly walking out of the Defense Net. When he reached the four gods, he waved a hand, and Hulk’s group appeared beside him. Strange and Hulk were protected by magic, so they did not need to worry about breathing and could speak to each other.

Sensing the overwhelming divine might around them, Strange felt a little intimidated. He asked, "Blood God, you’re not planning to have me fight one of them alone, are you?"

"The three of you deal with the weakest one. What are you looking at? Yes, you."

Wang Bert pointed at Skeleton God. Skeleton God flew into a rage and was about to speak, but Wang Bert swept his hand, and Skeleton God and Strange’s group vanished at the same time.

Strange shouted angrily.

Hulk looked at him with disdain. Then he raised his warhammer high and leaped toward Skeleton God. "I’ll be the main force. You two support me."

"Are all Super Heroes this vicious with their words?"

Strange rolled his eyes and began casting spells to support Hulk. Damon, meanwhile, was testing out his new motorcycle—the one Wang Bert and Wanda had ridden before, which had been given to Damon in advance.

"I’ll show you whether I’m really the weakest one!"

Skeleton God roared furiously. He slammed his large hand through the void, and countless skeletons appeared out of thin air, densely surrounding the three of them.

"This is really not pressure I should be bearing."

Strange could not help sighing. He was still just a rookie.
