Stand-In Goes Online, Unlimited Void (3K)
Within the pitch-black domain, countless bronze chime bells still trembled, but there were no other sounds.
Millennium Worm calmly pulled up his special mask.
Many in Infinite Dimensional Space knew he was troublesome—a Reincarnator who could not be killed.
But few knew that he was not merely troublesome, but dangerous as well.
Blackwater was hired everywhere to do disgusting jobs for others. Without some means of his own, he would have long since been devoured clean by those Title-level Reincarnators.
After all, Title-level Reincarnators were still Reincarnators. No matter how powerful they were, they could not change the essence of what a Reincarnator was.
These people were fundamentally not the same species as the famed masters of wuxia novels. Their reputations were built entirely upon force, and of all the things that made up their renown, morality was the most insignificant.
The pitch-black domain gradually crumbled away, revealing the shattered frozen land. On that land, the two people who had just fought several fierce rounds and utterly destroyed the terrain had already fallen to the ground—one dead, the other asleep.
Millennium Worm checked the Space Panel and confirmed that he had indeed killed Red Dust, the second-in-command of Chaos Sage’s team. After some thought, he prepared to stage the scene as though Mercenary Tao had fought Red Dust and ultimately killed him.
As for Mercenary Tao, who had killed Red Dust, he would mysteriously vanish and never appear again…
Since he did not know what bloodline Mercenary Tao’s immortality came from, or what rank that immortality possessed, Millennium Worm did not intend to use a huge amount of Explosive Clay to blow him apart.
Explosions were terrifying attacks against flesh-and-blood creatures. An instant of excessively concentrated energy could destroy the vast majority of flesh tissue.
But creatures with immortality and powerful regenerative abilities were different. The overly brief process of an explosion often could not completely extinguish their vitality.
Millennium Worm planned to seal Mercenary Tao inside an iron coffin and cast it into the deep sea. This was also a method capable of "killing" an Ajin.
When trapped in some extreme environment with no means of escape, an immortal Reincarnator would repeatedly fall into a cycle of "death-revival-death," eventually suffering a mental collapse.
Even creatures like Ajin would perish after a mental collapse, becoming an incorruptible corpse.
Arriving before Mercenary Tao, whose body had already grown far beyond human proportions, Millennium Worm watched the man lie in eternal sleep, his lips still curled into a cruel arc. His face twitched twice.
"A beast through and through… is that it…"
"Even when he realized in that instant that defeat and death were inevitable, he felt no fear. There was only the cruelty of hurting others."
At that moment, the cursed energy around Millennium Worm’s body surged even more violently. He thought of Wildfire, Ghost Wolf, and Cub. They had been killed after encountering beasts like this.
"This space is rotten to the core…"
Millennium Worm suddenly stomped on Mercenary Tao’s chest. The force was so great that the body let out a violent bang.
The scene horrified Flower Immortal, who was observing this place through that cactus.
She immediately tried to contact Sage.
No matter what, she had never expected that the outcome of Red Dust and Mercenary Tao’s battle would be for Millennium Worm to use Domain Expansion and defeat them both in an instant!
Millennium Worm had no idea that someone had witnessed his actions. He reached out and grabbed Mercenary Tao by the hair, preparing to drag him away first.
But in the next instant, a hand gripped his wrist.
An overwhelming chill descended upon him.
Though he was not especially known for his sensory abilities, how could anyone possibly approach him soundlessly to such a distance?
Millennium Worm lowered his head and met a pair of mismatched pupils.
Mercenary Tao, who should have fallen into eternal sleep, had abruptly opened his eyes.
In his left eye, a scarlet Three-Tomoe Sharingan slowly spun. In his right eye was an iris resembling a blue sky filled with drifting white clouds.
Six Eyes!
Millennium Worm, whose own foundation of enhancement was cursed energy, naturally recognized that eye.
Powerful strength erupted from Mercenary Tao’s excessively muscular hand.
Millennium Worm sensed an unusual danger from this strangely revived Mercenary Tao.
In an instant, he sent intense Chakra coursing throughout his body.
He had long ago made this body consume enough Explosive Clay. As Explosion Release Chakra flowed, countless veins seemed to emerge inside his body. It was as if his body had turned into cracked clay, beginning to gray and blacken.
"Mercenary Tao’s" legs rose from the ground first. Then, the body above his knees sprang upright in an instant, bent at a bizarre angle.
As a violent, unstable aura began to erupt from the person before him, he showed no unease. Instead, he wore an expression of keen interest.
"I really have to thank you. Your interesting Jujutsu has let me breathe fresh air without restraint once again~"
The frivolous tone, the slightly raised head, and those Six Eyes glancing down from beneath the lower lids gave Millennium Worm, who was about to self-destruct, a bad premonition.
But in the next moment, Mercenary Tao’s tone became low and arrogant.
"Hmph. Even trash can serve a trash’s purpose."
As Millennium Worm struggled to understand, his own body was already nearing transparency, and Blazing White light immediately lit up from within him.
A destructive explosion erupted with a deafening roar the next moment.
It was as though the world had been covered in an incomparably dazzling flash. The terrifying blast swept across a vast area within a radius of ten kilometers.
The withered wilderness, crumbling asphalt roads, and frozen ground were all swallowed by the explosion in an instant.
"Bai Cangshu" stood where he was, both hands in his pockets. What should have been a carefree, dashing pose appeared exceptionally horrifying because of Bai Cangshu’s enormous body.
After the terrifying heat gradually faded, Satoru Gojo indeed sensed traces of cursed energy.
Earlier, within that pure white spiritual world, the owner of the Throne of the Heart had suddenly fallen asleep. The tens of thousands of yin spirits had practically descended into indescribable revelry.
After a grand struggle and slaughter, it was still Satoru Gojo and Uchiha Madara who gained the upper hand and squeezed into this body.
Though they knew this was most likely another "trap" left behind by that host, being imprisoned in that utterly empty, silent Yellow Springs was simply too boring.
Neither Satoru Gojo nor Uchiha Madara would miss an opportunity to take control of the body.
What was more, with their strength, so long as they obtained enough information, it was not impossible for them to regain the chance to acquire a body or even perform Body Snatching.
Taking advantage of the time Uchiha Madara needed to refine Chakra again and mobilize the Nine-Tails’ Chakra within the Consciousness Sea, Satoru Gojo naturally took control of this body.
An explosion attack of this level posed absolutely no threat to him.
He walked through the flames and high heat toward the owner of that cursed energy.
Millennium Worm, the newly revived Ajin, saw Mercenary Tao’s completely unharmed body and that powerful cursed energy, and immediately realized something.
"You’re… Satoru Gojo?!"
Satoru Gojo raised an eyebrow. He had controlled this body many times, but this was the first time someone had recognized him.
"You can actually recognize me? Ha, no wonder you’re a Jujutsu Sorcerer capable of Domain Expansion~"
"Could you give me some information, for the sake of us both being Jujutsu Sorcerers…"
As he spoke, intense cursed energy had already completely gathered.
"Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void~"
Millennium Worm froze. Before he had any time to react, he had already been enveloped within the domain.
Once he noticed this, he pressed his hands together as well, bending his ring fingers.
"Domain Expansion: Sound Kill Underworld!"
The pitch-black domain expanded as well. Satoru Gojo gave a surprised sound. He had not expected the man before him to be able to ignore the effects of Cursed Technique Overload and perform Domain Expansion multiple times in a single day.
But he immediately realized that the other party had repaired the Cursed Technique Circuit in his brain by self-destructing and then reviving, effectively making his entire brain brand new.
Satoru Gojo formed a hand sign, finally revealing an interested expression.
Though the other party was still somewhat crude in the field of Jujutsu, this kind of "finding another path" had accomplished a feat that even ordinary masters of Jujutsu could not achieve.
In the next instant, a terrifying domain battle was about to erupt, but just as Satoru Gojo’s surging cursed energy crashed forth, Sound Kill Underworld disintegrated inch by inch.
It revealed Millennium Worm’s eyes, filled with disbelief.
Uchiha Madara merely gave a disdainful snort, as if mocking Satoru Gojo for making such a grand display when fighting an opponent like this.
Satoru Gojo held his forehead and looked at Millennium Worm, who had been paralyzed the instant Unlimited Void flooded his brain with an immense amount of information. Troubled, he said,
"Mr. Uchiha, we could have interrogated this fellow Jujutsu user for some valuable intelligence to help us find a way to possibly escape this body, but you directly made him get hit by my technique without any resistance…"
"Tch… You’re not that host’s mole, are you…"
"Brat, can’t you undo the technique you cast yourself?"
Uchiha Madara mocked Satoru Gojo. The two occupied the same body, and despite having barely begun to act, they had already started arguing.
Thump.
A violent heartbeat interrupted them.
Thump!
The sound was even more distinct. "Bai Cangshu" turned around and saw red light suddenly appear over the body of the powerful Reincarnator Red Dust, who had been directly Curse Killed by Sound Kill Underworld.
That light covered his body and caused his heart to begin pounding fiercely.
With every beat, the terrifying pressure in the air grew several degrees stronger.
Satoru Gojo watched the scene and shook his head.
"These guys really are harder to kill than the last…"
Red Dust, whom the Space had declared dead, abruptly opened his eyes and gasped for air. Immediately afterward, powerful inner energy erupted from within him, so intense that the surrounding air began to blur and faintly take on color.
"Ha, hahaha…"
The treasure potion known as Reverse Universe had successfully brought him back from the dead and doubled his cultivation.
"I made it!"
Red Dust flung his arms wide. His powerful inner energy, accompanied by his roar, shattered the air with a thunderous boom and triggered dizzying tremors.
"Bai Cangshu" remained where he was. Looking at the other party, Satoru Gojo clicked his tongue inwardly.
"Looks like we still have a chance… to interrogate him for some information."
