Summoning Magneto

When Yinsen had first wanted to use the Teleportation Spell, he had needed not only a ring that stored the Tesseract’s energy, but also to use energy with spatial properties to create the Mirror Dimension. Only within that special space could he use Teleportation Magic as he pleased.

As his strength increased and his understanding of Spatial Energy deepened, he could now use this Teleportation Spell in the "real" world.

Long-distance teleportation still carried a certain margin of error, but teleporting within his line of sight was as effortless to him as lifting a finger—or even just having a thought.

With Yinsen leading the way, ordinary agents and special forces soldiers could not stop them at all. Considering Moira’s identity and Charles’s feelings, Yinsen did not strike these people too harshly. He merely politely "invited" them to leave their original positions and stop blocking his path.

By the time Yinsen and the others left the building and reached the relatively open front courtyard, Sebastian Shaw, codenamed the Black King, was standing off against countless fully armed special forces soldiers while wearing a helmet.

The reason the soldiers had not immediately opened fire and riddled the intruder with bullets was because Sebastian had one of their own men in his grasp. If they fired, they would riddle their comrade with bullets as well.

The moment Yinsen and the others appeared, they drew the attention of both sides. Sebastian looked at the group of young people who had suddenly rushed out, then casually tossed the agent in his hand into the air.

"Looks like I found my target. You’re no longer useful."

Sebastian could use absorbed energy to strengthen himself, and his physical abilities far surpassed those of ordinary people. He casually hurled a sturdy adult man high into the air. Unless something unexpected happened, the man would die horribly when he hit the ground.

But as he continued rising, a blue ring of light suddenly appeared above him. An identical blue ring then appeared behind the special forces soldiers. The young agent, who should have "flown even higher," instead crashed into the group of soldiers, knocking them down like human bowling pins.

Though they looked rather disheveled, no one died or was injured.

Sebastian watched it all happen, then shifted his gaze to Yinsen.

"A very interesting ability."

In his eyes, Yinsen’s ability seemed to let him open a doorway anywhere he wished, one that could connect to any location. Yet the Energy Wave produced by the ability felt strange to him. He could not explain exactly what was strange about it.

Sebastian did not think much of Yinsen’s ability. As long as an ability used energy, he had no reason to fear it, because it could never hurt him.

Besides, this person’s ability did not seem particularly destructive. It was more like a purely supportive ability.

He did not know that what Yinsen used was not a Mutant Ability, but magic.

Still, to a certain extent, magic was a technique that used energy. On the surface, it appeared to be countered by Sebastian Shaw, who could absorb any form of energy.

However, while Sebastian could absorb any energy, there was a limit to how much he could absorb. That was why he always released it immediately after taking in a large amount of energy.

As for Yinsen… his magical power currently had limits, but he could draw nearly endless energy from other dimensions. If nothing else, he could prepare twenty Arcane Spring staffs. He refused to believe this guy could withstand that.

As for stabbing this man to death with a knife, Yinsen had seen that even the special forces soldiers’ frantic gunfire had not harmed him in the slightest. He knew that a blade which needed kinetic force to pierce flesh would have difficulty truly injuring him as well, unless it struck in a sneak attack while he was completely unprepared—because this man’s ability required him to activate it deliberately.

Thinking of that, Yinsen suddenly glanced at Ada beside him. This elite spy was equally skilled at infiltration and assassination, meaning he had plenty of ways to deal with this man.

The special forces soldiers had stopped firing. One of them directly launched a rocket at Sebastian, but it still failed to injure the mutant. The soldiers had already fallen into stunned confusion.

Having absorbed a tremendous amount of energy at once, Sebastian raised his foot, preparing to release the powerful explosion and shockwave while clearing away these annoying flies.

He had completely ignored Yinsen and his group. He truly did not think they could stop him. Unfortunately, before he could bring down his raised right foot, a ring of light suddenly appeared beneath him. Sebastian felt the ground vanish under his feet, and when he came to his senses, he was already a hundred meters in the air.

That height would not kill him, especially since he had a capable subordinate like Azazel. Yinsen had not expected such a simple spell to kill him. Aside from saving those unlucky people, he had done this to draw Azazel out.

Azazel, who had the ability to teleport and looked like a demon, suddenly appeared in midair and caught the falling Sebastian. He then teleported again, returning to the ground and standing before Yinsen.

"Don’t interfere with my business, child."

At Sebastian’s age—at least sixty or seventy—calling Yinsen a child was not exactly wrong. But Logan suddenly remembered that, adding together the time Yinsen had spent in all those worlds, his actual age was at least over thirty and closing in on forty. His future lifespan would certainly exceed a thousand years, yet his appearance had remained fixed at twenty-five. He would probably be taken advantage of like this often in the future.

At that thought, Logan could not stop himself from laughing. It made everyone present feel awkward, and they all looked at him.

"Sorry, I just thought of something interesting. Don’t mind me."

He then made a gesture for them to continue, leaving the surrounding soldiers speechless. We’re fighting our hearts out here, and you actually laughed? Could you at least show us some respect?

Sebastian had lived for a long time, and with himself as such a clear example, he reacted quickly enough to immediately understand what Logan was laughing about.

"My apologies. It seems I made an incorrect judgment about your age."

"It’s fine. This happens often enough that I’m used to it." Yinsen spread his hands, ignoring the fact that he was not actually as old as Sebastian thought. "After all, it’s the kind of situation that makes countless people jealous."

"Yes, it would make countless people jealous." Ignoring the special forces soldiers surrounding him, Sebastian suddenly felt like chatting with Yinsen. "We are destined to be utterly different from ordinary people. That means that once ordinary humans discover us and our abilities, we have no choice but to face a decision."

Sebastian spread his hands and gestured toward the soldiers surrounding them. Together with the group that had rushed out behind Yinsen, they formed a large encirclement that enclosed both groups. Combined with Sebastian’s words, it was highly persuasive.

"Be enslaved by ordinary people… or become the rulers."

Yinsen was not truly a mutant, but he knew the future plight of mutants. Logan had personally experienced countless conflicts between mutants and ordinary humans, and he knew Sebastian was not wrong.

Even the young mutants behind them, who had not yet fully figured out the situation, were somewhat swayed by Sebastian’s words. Especially when so many gun barrels were openly pointed at them, no one could guarantee that the special forces soldiers who were supposed to protect them would not suddenly open fire.

Yinsen nodded, seeming to agree with Sebastian. This made the surrounding soldiers extremely nervous, and several of them repeatedly glanced toward their commander.

The commander was cursing nonstop inside, wildly condemning the superior who had assigned him this mission. But he had received no order to kill the people they were meant to protect along with everyone else. He could only suppress the urge to order his men to gun them all down and quietly observe the situation, signaling his subordinates to wait and not act rashly.

"Your argument makes sense, but unfortunately, I don’t agree with your methods."

"You know what I intend to do?"

"Create conflict and friction between the United States and the Soviet Union, push the situation in an uncontrollable direction, and trigger a war… a Nuclear War."

Yinsen had never cared what consequences spoilers might bring. He was simply using this conversation to let certain people know Sebastian’s plans. As for whether they believed him, that was not his concern.

He had given all the warnings he needed to give. If they still stubbornly insisted on charging toward their deaths, Yinsen had no habit of cleaning up after idiots.

Yinsen’s words contained far too much information. The surrounding soldiers were directly stunned, and several guns that had been aimed at Yinsen immediately shifted, all pointing at Sebastian in unison.

For now, Yinsen was far more trustworthy than this mutant who had suddenly barged in and started slaughtering people. At the very least, Yinsen had saved their comrades the moment he appeared.

Seeing the guns trained on him again, Sebastian decided to eliminate these flies first before having a proper discussion with Yinsen. That way, they could carefully discuss the future of mutants without anyone disturbing them.

Furthermore, he had to ensure that no one learned of his plan before it was successfully carried out. From every perspective, these people had to die.

The immense energy stored within his body was about to be released, but before he could act, Yinsen moved first.

"Although I’d like to have you help me test my strength, I already promised Erik that I’d leave you to him to deal with personally. So… in the name of Yinsen, I command you—come forth, Magneto!"

As Yinsen extended his right hand, a Magic Array glowing with a deep blue radiance appeared on the open ground before him. As dazzling light erupted, Charles, Erik, Moira, and Emma Frost, who should have been far away in another country, appeared within the Magic Array together.

The first thing Erik did after appearing was not charge at Sebastian, but turn to complain to Yinsen. "Can’t you change that incantation, or at least say it more quietly?"

"This magic doesn’t require an incantation. I was just shouting it for fun."
