The Proper Use of MC Creatures

"Do you think I, Dio, was bullying Erina!?"

Hearing that, Dio’s face immediately twisted with uncontrollable rage.

He raised his knee and viciously slammed it into Jonathan. Jonathan loosened his grip on Dio’s collar in pain, giving Dio the chance to launch a frenzied assault.

As if venting his earlier anger, Dio drove his elbow brutally into Jonathan’s face.

The blow was vicious. Jonathan’s face was visibly distorted, blood spraying from his nose and mouth at the same time. His vision blurred as he instinctively staggered back two steps, stumbling against a tree and slowly sliding down.

Jonathan felt the pain in his face.

For some reason, however, his resolve only grew firmer.

He thought of all the ways Dio had humiliated him, how Dio had invaded, occupied, and taken everything that had originally belonged to him.

At that moment, Jonathan realized something: he absolutely could not fall here. Otherwise, he would spend his entire life in Dio’s shadow, becoming a cowardly, timid, useless weakling.

Besides, what Dio was doing now had already crossed his bottom line.

Dio could bully him however he wanted, but he had actually dared to bully Erina through such despicable means.

Thinking of that, Jonathan felt rage blaze within him. He slowly stood up, dazzling radiance bursting from his body. The mighty power of the sun gradually enveloped him, eventually becoming a layer of blazing light that made him look as upright and imposing as the Sun God.

Dio coldly watched the scene before him.

He glanced at the sky. The bright moon was casting its chilly glow.

"Idiot…"

Dio muttered a curse and immediately assumed a fighting stance.

In his eyes, Jonathan truly was an idiot.

Nighttime was his domain. With the endless power of the moon empowering him, there was no way he could lose. Besides, Jonathan had attacked him first this time, so he could reasonably defeat and torment him.

If he defeated Jonathan head-on again this time, Jonathan probably would not dare defy his will anymore, right?

Heh heh heh!

This was simply the best revenge against that damned Erina!

"Diooo!"

At that moment, Jonathan finally could not hold back any longer. With an angry roar, he charged straight at Dio.

Dio grew serious as well. A cold silver glow lit up around him, and he crossed his arms before him to block Jonathan’s incoming punch.

Then Dio suddenly twisted his body and whipped out a roundhouse kick, striking Jonathan in the face with a sharp smack.

The tremendous force made Jonathan spit out a mouthful of blood. Seeing this, Dio immediately got high. Haha! That damned Erina! She dared hit me… then I’ll beat your beloved JoJo until he kneels and apologizes, begging me for mercy!

Just thinking about it got him unbearably excited!

But Dio had barely begun enjoying himself when a huge mass of black clouds drifted overhead and blocked out the moon.

"Nani?"

Dio froze.

Yet while he was distracted, Jonathan gritted his teeth and endured the kick, then seized Dio’s head with both hands.

Dio immediately tried to pry Jonathan’s arms apart, but Jonathan’s fingers clutched his hair tightly. The pain made Dio furious, and without thinking, he raised his foot to kick Jonathan.

But this time, Jonathan gave him no chance. He instantly smashed his forehead into Dio’s face.

The heavy blow landed directly on Dio’s nose. In an instant, that sour, numb pain exploded through his nasal cavity all at once, and Dio lost focus for a moment.

Jonathan hurriedly seized the opportunity, swinging both fists at Dio with all his strength.

"Dio!!!"

Though Jonathan was only in his teens, he had been born with extraordinary strength. Now, fueled by rage and empowered by Sun Power, his fists swung like two massive warhammers.

One punch alone sent blood bursting across Dio’s face, crushed his nose, and knocked his jaw crooked.

"If I don’t beat you until you cry today, then I’m not a Joestar! Ora ora!!!"

Jonathan had no intention of stopping. He alternated his fists and mercilessly pounded Dio’s face, beating his left eye shut, swelling his forehead, knocking his jaw crooked, and making blood gush wildly from his mouth and nose. Finally, with a powerful straight punch, he sent Dio flying.

As luck would have it, Dio landed in another sewage pit.

"Y-You dared…"

Feeling the foul, sticky mudwater covering his body and the burning pain in his face, Dio finally snapped.

He remembered how Erina had also sent him flying into a mud pit before. He had wanted revenge on Jonathan, yet Jonathan had sent him flying back into the mud again. The humiliation in his heart instantly reached its limit.

And so…

Dio was angered to tears.

"How dare you treat me like this!" Dio cried as he climbed up from the ground, his expression both furious and aggrieved. Gritting his teeth, he roared, "You filthy, damned idiot! I’ll kill you!"

As he spoke, Dio furiously reached for the dagger at his waist.

"Ah…"

However, Jonathan did not notice Dio’s movement. Instead, he looked at Dio’s face. "Dio… did I really beat you until you cried?"

"Shut up! I’ll kill you!"

Just as Dio was about to rush forward and stab Jonathan—

A stern shout suddenly rang out.

"What are you two doing!"

Caught off guard by the voice, both of them froze. Jonathan instinctively looked toward its source. "Father?"

"…"

Dio immediately hid the dagger behind his back.

George Joestar had actually seen everything that had just happened. But after seeing Dio draw a weapon, George chose to intervene first to prevent Dio from doing anything irrational and hurting his son.

He quickly began criticizing his own son.

"Fights between men are unavoidable! But JoJo… what I saw was you beating Dio after he had already lost the ability to resist! That is not the conduct of a gentleman. You have truly disappointed me!"

George roared, "No explanations! Both of you, go back to your rooms!"

"What?"

Jonathan looked utterly incredulous.

Still, he did not dare defy his father. He could only glare viciously at Dio, then turn and leave with a face full of anger.

Naturally, Dio also shot Jonathan a cold look before leaving as well.

That night.

Neither of them ate dinner.

Dio told the butler that he was seriously reflecting on his mistakes. Jonathan, on the other hand, was simply too angry to eat. He felt that his father did not understand him at all and always favored Dio, so in a fit of anger, he refused dinner.

But how should one put it?

Dio really was not lying this time.

He lay on his bed, holding a moonstone as he practiced magic while reviewing his mistakes.

Yes, too much had happened today, and it had all been too complicated. Dio needed to sort it out carefully. He realized that he had still underestimated JoJo. Jonathan had displayed such terrifying explosive strength when angry that even he had been no match for him. It seemed his previous approach had been flawed.

Jonathan was the sort of person who grew stronger the more he was oppressed. The bullying Dio had subjected him to had instead made his spirit increasingly resilient. That was not good news.

Then there were his own shortcomings.

Dio calmly analyzed the situation and discovered that every time he suffered setbacks or embarrassed himself, it seemed to be because he was too easily provoked.

That was something he had to change.

Ideally, he needed to keep his emotions from showing on his face. Only then could he avoid continuing to suffer losses.

Still, not everything that had happened today was bad news. At least after witnessing Jonathan’s methods, Dio discovered that Jonathan seemed to possess only the magical abilities of the sunstone.

That was good news for him.

That mage apparently had not taught Jonathan any secret techniques separately.

Thinking about it carefully, Dio realized that he really had been too reckless before. Trying to bully JoJo into becoming a cripple—he had been far too obvious about it. If George and that mage found out, things would become troublesome.

Now that he thought about it, he should pretend to be friends with JoJo.

With his talent and abilities, he only needed a few years to completely surpass him. Then he could find a way to deal with that damned guy once and for all…

While Dio was reflecting on himself.

Elsewhere, Fang Mo and A Xue were also planning their return.

Of course, they were not heading to another world. They were returning to the MC world to get some things. For example, Fang Mo was quite curious about what magic the Lich would know after being brought into reality.

"Master, when we go back this time… will more than ten years pass here too?"

A Xue asked Fang Mo while tidying the house.

"Probably not?"

Fang Mo held a notebook, casually jotting down the things he intended to bring over. "The plot here is basically over for now. If I remember correctly, the next time we return should be seven years later, when the Phantom Blood storyline officially begins…"

"Seven years?"

A Xue nodded. "That still feels like a long time. During that time… JoJo will not get bullied by Dio again, will he?"

"Probably not?"

Fang Mo tilted his head. "Erina is already a demigod. If Dio really tries anything, she’ll probably pick up a sword and shout something like EXcalibur… Rather than that, A Xue, help me think about what else I should bring over this time."

"Didn’t you say you were bringing the Lich?"

A Xue thought about it as well. "Hmm… I think Master also mentioned something about Nichirin Blades before?"

"Oh, right. I do need to get more weapons. Tinkers’ Construct is forever the best."

Fang Mo nodded and continued writing in his notebook. "Hmm, I should bring a few Villagers too. I’ve always wanted to see what those Ghost-level things would be like after becoming real. They cannot seriously be Uranium Titanium Men, right?"

"Only bringing NPCs?"

A Xue looked at Fang Mo. "Master, do you want to bring some monsters over to try too? Didn’t you say monster girls were possible as well?"

"Oh, then bringing a few to test first would work."

Fang Mo nodded and wrote in his notebook. "Anyway, I need to capture at least two humanoid creatures and make up a full mahjong table. Otherwise, passing the time every day is too troublesome… I really want to dig up the Requiem Arrow already. That way, I would not have to keep watching this place."

"Requiem Arrow? What is that?"

A Xue asked curiously.

"A powerful item in this world. It is said to evolve Stands," Fang Mo explained. "I’m not sure whether it will work on me, but I still have to try it."

"Then where is it?"

A Xue asked. "Do you need me to help bring it back for you, Master?"

"I want to find it too, but I only know that it is currently buried underground in Egypt." Fang Mo sadly wiped his face. "As for the exact location, I have no idea…"

"Then why not bring more monsters to help you search?"

A Xue asked strangely. "There are plenty of creatures in that forest alone that are good at finding treasure, such as the goblins and kobolds in the Goblin Stronghold. And if that does not work, aren’t there all sorts of strange monsters in the Overworld? Master, do you want to bring a few more types to try?"

"Hm?"
