Titles

Now querying title contests for which Special Reincarnator EX051 met the requirements.

Martial Arts Grandmaster: Requires Martial Arts Mastery Lv7 or above, base unarmed Strength and Agility above 30, and a B-rank or higher martial arts ability at Lv4 or above;
Brute: Requires base unarmed Strength exceeding 50;
Shadowmancer: Requires base Spirit exceeding 30 and traits from the soul or spiritual arts categories;
King of Killers: Requires prerequisite milestones such as Milestone: Killer Type and Asura, along with special killing-intent abilities.
...

A huge number of titles appeared all at once, far more than the titles Bai Cangshu had previously seen that could be obtained by merging his milestones.

The types and qualities of the titles varied greatly. There were conventional mass-produced titles spanning the four basic attributes, as well as special titles like King of Killers and Martial Arts Grandmaster.

Among them, Bai Cangshu spotted several of the most unusual ones, which also best matched his current situation. He guessed that these titles had probably been filtered out after fulfilling multiple conditions.

Peerless Battle Demon: Base unarmed Strength, Agility, Constitution, and Spirit all exceed 30, while possessing Enhanced Effectiveness and a combat power rating of Strong—Exceptional or above.

This title’s color was entirely different from the others: a muted gold, with an exceptionally substantial feel. Just looking at the lettering, Bai Cangshu could imagine that its rarity was likely at the very highest tier he could currently obtain, even slightly above King of Killers, which gleamed with a scarlet sheen.

It was practically tailored to him. At the same time, Bai Cangshu guessed that this type of title belonged to the same category as titles for attribute-specialized Reincarnators like Brute—titles specially prepared by the space for such Reincarnators.

Strictly speaking, perhaps the title of Supreme Expert was merely an enhanced version of this type of title, or rather, its pinnacle.

Once one met the combat rating requirement, exceeding each attribute threshold would probably grant eligibility for different titles. For example, exceeding 50 points made one a Brute, while exceeding 40 but remaining below 50 might qualify one to contend for a title like Strongman.

In the end, this probably corresponded to the legendary title held by the strongest person in every attribute—Supreme.

Because Bai Cangshu was a Great Sin Reincarnator and the type to distribute his attributes evenly, he had achieved the feat of simultaneously touching the limits of all four attributes and breaking through them all in the First Tier. He had become a Special Reincarnator with four extraordinary traits and enhanced effectiveness in all four attributes.

Peerless Battle Demon was likely a specialized title within this category.

And no multi-attribute Supreme Expert title had yet appeared in the space. At least, no one had spread word of one. Bai Cangshu was very curious what kind of Title Ability such a title would grant.

The reason Reincarnators wanted titles, and why Title-level Reincarnators were stronger than most elite Reincarnators, was that titles themselves represented powerful abilities bestowed by the space.

Though Title Abilities varied in strength, every one of them possessed an exceptionally high priority.

From the traits of his Death Intent Senluo and the situations he had encountered in subsequent battles, Bai Cangshu had come to understand that the further one progressed, the more "BUG"-level abilities would likely appear.

For example, forced hypnosis, memory alteration, banishment, sealing, instant death…

Without exception, if one could not negate their effects after being struck by such abilities, one would be defeated outright.

In the B711 Secondary World, Bai Cangshu and Red Dust, two martial arts experts whose direct combat strength vastly surpassed Millennium Worm’s, had both been affected by Millennium Worm’s Domain Expansion: Sound Kill Underworld. They had nearly suffered a first-encounter kill together.

Had Bai Cangshu not possessed multiple souls within his body and released Satoru Gojo beforehand, the two of them would have been killed in reverse by Millennium Worm in that battle.

When rule-based abilities clashed, priority determined victory or defeat.

The priority of Title Abilities was usually at least intermediate.

"Can we check how many Reincarnators have registered for each title contest now?"

Bai Cangshu asked. Knight Sister shook her head, giving a negative answer.

"Titles are not gifts to be won through opportunistic tricks. They are blessings granted by great beings to brave warriors."

Knight Sister’s words suddenly made Bai Cangshu feel that the space’s title system resembled the Gift Games of the Little Garden World.

Both involved competition, and both granted special rewards and authority upon victory.

He guessed that perhaps the Infinite Dimensional Space was not merely using Reincarnators to seize all sorts of information. It was also absorbing methods of inheritance from the lineages of various civilizations.

Knight Sister meant that Reincarnators should not try to take shortcuts by seeing which title had fewer participants. They should instead choose what they wanted most and press forward courageously.

Bai Cangshu nodded. Naturally, he had no such thoughts.

He was probing the boundaries of the space’s various rules.

"I have a Purifier Authority. Can I designate a Reincarnator as a Purifier during the event, then kill him?"

Knight Sister fell silent for a moment, then still shook her head.

Bai Cangshu gave one final glance at the titles below the list that flickered with muted golden radiance alongside Peerless Battle Demon, then turned and left.

"Eye of Void Kalpa, God-Slaying Plunder, Heavenly Martial Underworld Illumination, Three Thousand Thunderbolts, Overlord Armor: Fierce Rakshasa…"

Almost every title required more than two or three kinds of ability traits, corresponding respectively to abilities in Bai Cangshu’s current system, such as Satsui no Hado, special constitution, martial arts foundations, and Current Propulsion.

The uniqueness and effects of these titles completely surpassed earlier types with broader requirements, such as Martial Arts Grandmaster.

Bai Cangshu memorized the information for each of these titles, intending to first ask Black Butler whether anyone had obtained similar titles before and see if he could learn roughly what their Title Abilities were.

After leaving the Rank Management Office, he did not immediately forge Nūrihyon’s Core into his body.

Both Adaptation and Transformation suited him quite well, and they could certainly be called powerful traits.

But now that Bai Cangshu had successfully mastered Kaio-ken, his hunger for power had risen to another level.

He craved better traits.

Moreover, because he had just carried out a temporary Purge Mission, he still had plenty of time to wait. Before the next deployment began, he had every chance to liquidate his resources and obtain more powerful traits.

Especially since those people were still desperately trying to get Duke’s relic back…

The corner of Bai Cangshu’s lips curled as though he wanted to sneer, but the faint arc faded as soon as it formed.

Perhaps those naive people had obtained the power of the heart earlier and more easily than he had.

With that thought, Bai Cangshu merely entered the Goddess’s Abode with a cold expression.

"Appraise this Special Creation."

Do you wish to spend 5,000 Dimensional Points to appraise the Special Creation: Gantz?

Bai Cangshu looked at the fee and expressionlessly chose to accept.

Appraising...

The Goddess’s ruby-like eyes carefully examined Gantz’s Black Ball, but ultimately found nothing.

Appraisal complete.
Special Construct: Gantz
Quality: Special
Description: A high-tier 3D printing machine created by a technologically advanced high-dimensional race. It can print all kinds of information, including living organisms.
Effect 1: By consuming equivalent information, it can print the envisioned target within this construct. (It cannot create organisms or items beyond Gantz's information acquisition capabilities.)
Effect 2: Gantz requires biological batteries for operation.

The attributes had not changed at all. It was merely that when Bai Cangshu focused on the so-called information now, he could see its specific price. Information was Singularities.

Creating a basic Gantz Suit, a Reinforcement Suit, required 1 E-rank Singularity and 2,500 Dimensional Points.

The prices of the other items also varied.

The most expensive item on the list was a giant robot, costing as much as 1 A-rank Singularity and 32,000 Dimensional Points. In Bai Cangshu’s view, it was utterly not worth the price.
