Tony’s Explanation

Tony was naturally delighted to see Harvey decide to let Banner and Steve join the Void.

That meant Earth would have more powerful fighters to face any sudden wars and battles in the future.

"It seems you two have both earned recognition."

"Then come with me. I’ll explain some things about the Void Cult."

Outwardly, however, Tony still wore a stern and serious expression.

Banner and Steve followed him inside, entering a seaside villa.

For the first time in front of the two of them, Tony removed his Iron Man armor.

After taking off the armor, Tony revealed a sturdy, muscular physique brimming with strength.

But they both knew Tony himself was already powerful, so they were not overly shocked.

It was only when Tony removed his helmet and revealed an extremely young and handsome face that—

"My goodness, Tony? Why do you look so young?"

Banner’s eyes widened when he saw Tony’s face.

"So this is why you were always unwilling to take off your Iron Man armor."

"I apologize for what I said before."

Seeing Tony’s appearance, Steve’s gaze flickered. Remembering how he had mocked Tony for never removing his armor when they first met, he immediately apologized of his own accord.

"It doesn’t matter. That’s all in the past."

"After joining the Void Cult and receiving the blessing, your appearances will return to their youth as well."

"So there’s no need to be too shocked."

Seeing Steve take the initiative to apologize, Tony casually waved a hand and said with a smile.

Beneath his Iron Man armor, Tony wore a shirt and shorts, looking incredibly fresh and relaxed.

Tony then took out several glasses and some ice, arranged them, and poured some liquor.

"I can’t drink."

Seeing that Tony had prepared a glass for him as well, Banner hurriedly said.

"It’s fine. If Hulk comes out, I’ll beat him until he behaves."

"If you want to control Hulk Power, the most important thing is not to fear it."

"Hulk has intelligence too. You’ve just always rejected him, so every time he comes out, he goes on a rampage."

"If you like him and accept him, it probably won’t be like that anymore."

"Besides, it’s been a long time since you last drank, hasn’t it?"

"Now that you have nothing to worry about, how could you not have a few drinks?"

Tony did not mind at all and said with a smile.

"Alright."

Tony’s words stirred Banner somewhat.

"Let me think about where to begin with the Void Cult."

"Although Harvey is staying on Earth, the Void Cult’s main headquarters is not on Earth."

"It is on a distant planet in the universe called Xandar."

"Before I returned to Earth over a year ago, the Void Cult already had several hundred members."

"And every one of them was quite formidable."

Holding a glass of wine, Tony walked onto a balcony with an excellent view, reclined comfortably, took a sip, and began speaking.

"What do you mean, every one of them is formidable? How strong are they?"

Steve asked with concern.

"Xandar is one of the major empires in the universe."

"It possesses the Nova Corps, renowned throughout the galaxy, and its technology is highly advanced as well."

"Before receiving the Void Cult’s blessing, the physical qualities of every race on Xandar were roughly comparable to yours."

Tony glanced at Steve and spoke casually.

"Then wouldn’t I be no different from an ordinary person in the universe?"

Steve found it somewhat hard to believe.

Banner found it unbelievable too. Although Steve was not especially strong within the Avengers Initiative,

and could not compare to Hulk’s power, Steve’s physical abilities had already reached the limits of ordinary humans, putting him in a realm beyond human.

Yet Tony was saying that people in the universe with strength comparable to Steve’s were everywhere?

"It’s good that you have that self-awareness."

"Super Serum related to genetic modification is scarce on Earth only because Earth’s civilization has not developed for long enough."

"And even when geniuses appear, conflicts of interest caused by infighting may lead to certain geniuses being directly stifled."

"But among the civilizations throughout the universe that have formed unions and entered the interstellar age,"

"they have long since improved the genetics of their entire species."

"Giving them stronger physical qualities and far longer lifespans."

"And naturally powerful bodies have occasionally produced some superpowered individuals."

"Although not every one of them possesses combat-oriented powers, the fact that they are born with abilities surpassing others cannot be denied."

Before fully explaining the Void Cult, Tony decided to tell Steve and Banner a few things about the universe.

After all, Banner and Steve had seen too little. Sometimes, seeing too little placed an invisible shackle upon one’s thoughts.

"It feels like I’m starting to come into contact with an extraordinary world…"

As Steve listened to Tony’s words and imagined it all, he spoke with some heaviness in his heart.

"I think I understand more and more why you didn’t like the sight of me."

Banner could hear Tony’s admiration for those born with superpowers.

"Those were only trivial matters. Even if we lack innate superpowers and are natural weaklings,"

"we still have other chances to become strong. That is to receive Harvey’s blessing and join the Void Cult."

"As a senior who has already been in it for several years, it is only natural for me to teach you some things."

"After believing in the great Void, you will gain a long lifespan and the ability to evolve without limit."

"In the beginning, my own body was not as strong as it is now. It was even inferior to the physical qualities you gained from the Super Serum, Steve."

"But after evolving again and again, I became younger, and my strength grew greater as well."

"The Void is mysterious and great. Though I have been a member for several years, I still know very little about it."

"But the Void can grant people strength that is in no way inferior to that of certain superpowered individuals."

Tony did not care about Banner’s words. He casually waved a hand, and as he spoke, a cluster of purple light resembling flame appeared in his right palm.

"That power isn’t from your technology?"

Steve’s eyes widened as he stared at the purple glow in Tony’s hand.

"Of course not. My technology is not weak, but it is not that advanced yet."

"At present, the Void Cult has two relatively clear directions of evolution."

"One is pure physical evolution, like Kyle’s. With the body alone, one can ignore most attacks and smash countless enemies apart."

"The other is the Void Power in my hand, which has endless uses."

"But my grasp of Void Power is still very superficial, so I cannot yet make full use of it."

Tony smiled and shook his head at Steve’s question, then explained.

Here’s the third update.
