Steve and Banner Join the Void
"Endless uses?"
"Like what?"
Banner stared intently at the Void Power in Tony’s hand and asked curiously.
He had also achieved a great deal in technology, so naturally, he wanted to study this unknown power.
"It can let people fly through the skies and travel underground. It can let people directly traverse space and cross countless distances."
"One step can cover thousands or even tens of thousands of light-years."
"It can strengthen the body, allowing someone to cross the universe with their physical body alone."
"It can also be used as a means of attack and fired outward."
Tony was not surprised by Banner’s curiosity. As he spoke, he casually flicked his wrist.
The Void Power in his hand flew out like a small purple sun, slowly rising into the air before exploding at a height of a hundred meters.
With a boom, the shockwave burst outward.
"Flying through the skies and traveling underground are not difficult. Spatial traversal involves more advanced applications."
"Harvey calls it Void magic. It can accomplish everything I just mentioned, along with even more abilities I do not understand."
"I have only been in the Void for too short a time."
"So I have not delved deeply into it, and my use of Void Power is still rather basic."
"All I can do is strengthen the Iron Man armor, fire it as a weapon, and fly."
As Tony spoke, purple light radiated from his body, and he slowly rose into the air while still lying down.
Although Renoli had taught him, he had not had much time to practice, so he could not fly freely yet.
Still, basic methods like floating in midair were not difficult for Tony.
Though he had explained that they could fly, he obviously could not start teaching Steve and Banner immediately after they joined the Void.
That was because, even though his relationship with Harvey was not as clearly hierarchical as that between Harvey and the other members of the Void Cult—
Tony still understood the importance of rules. Since Miss Sonia had set the rule that teaching could only begin after one year—
Then he would certainly wait until Steve and Banner had joined the Void for a year before teaching them.
Moreover, that one-year limit was likely meant to give new members time to evolve. Haste made waste; everything had to be done step by step.
Steve and Banner were dumbfounded when they heard Tony’s words and saw him fly into the air.
"Is there no price to pay for receiving this blessing and gaining this power?"
Then Steve thought of an important question.
"The price is that you need to consume large amounts of food every day."
"But that is the most superficial part. The most important thing is to hold on to your true self."
"You must control the desires that grow day by day as your strength increases."
"Otherwise, you will fall into the abyss of desire and become a monster that knows only how to devour and evolve."
"The Void Cult has no strict commandments. Simply put, you cannot directly devour living creatures or your own kind."
"Of course, compared to the infinite power you gain, those costs and rules are clearly insignificant."
As Tony spoke, he slowly descended and lay back down on the sun lounger.
"What happens if someone violates the rules and becomes a monster?"
Steve agreed with Tony’s words, but to prevent himself from accidentally breaking the rules, he still wanted to ask more clearly.
"If someone violates the rules, they will face the pursuit of every member of the Void Cult."
"If necessary, Harvey may personally take action. There will be no escape, above or below."
"Once they are captured and brought back, they will enter the Hall of Judgment, where Harvey will personally deliver divine punishment."
Tony explained.
These matters were common knowledge within the Void Cult. Since Steve and the others could not go to the Void Cult’s headquarters, Tony explained them in detail.
"If I become much stronger, will Hulk Power become stronger too?"
After hearing this, Banner silently committed it all to memory. A question arose in his heart, and he asked it directly.
"To be honest, I am not sure."
"Transformation-type superpowers are relatively rare."
"At least, when I left Void Island on Xandar over a year ago, I had not seen anyone with a transformation-type superpower."
"However, the stronger your original body is, the more power your flesh can bear. You should become stronger after transforming as well."
Tony shook his head. He was not certain himself, but he still shared his guess.
"I understand. Then how can we receive Harvey’s blessing?"
Steve pondered for a moment before asking.
"With the utmost sincerity in your heart, believe in the greatness of the Void, revere Harvey’s power, and wish to receive the Void’s blessing. The Void will respond."
Tony did not waste words and directly explained the method.
Steve and Banner looked at each other and began following Tony’s instructions.
Meanwhile, Harvey received applications from Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner, who wished to understand the Void.
Harvey did not waste words and directly approved them.
Steve provided Harvey with fifty thousand Void Points. Compared to Tony Stark, it was only half as much less, yet this was already a great deal of Void Energy.
Bruce Banner, meanwhile, provided one million Void Points.
This showed just how powerful Bruce Banner was with Hulk Power.
This brought Harvey’s Void Energy to 8.74 million.
Before long, once it reached ten million Void Energy, he should have another opportunity to select a Hero Template.
On Tony Stark’s Private Island.
Purple Void Power began to envelop Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner.
Both men saw the great Void, which shattered their understanding of the world, as well as terrifying figures that seemed like gods.
They accepted the transformation of Void Power, but their appearances did not change much.
However, Tony knew that he now had two more companions on Earth who shared a common language with him.
As long as one joined the Void, everything could be attained in the future. It merely required time to accumulate.
When Steve and Banner opened their eyes, both of their bodies involuntarily went limp, and they collapsed to the ground.
"Welcome to the Void Cult."
Seeing this, Tony walked over, extended both hands, easily pulled them to their feet, and smiled.
"…What were those monsters?"
Steve asked, still shaken.
"Those are the gods of the Void—great beings."
"One of them was Harvey’s true body."
Tony explained.
