Vampire Virus

Seeing this, Chthon immediately raised a hand to interfere with the Lucifer Greatsword’s time. Adam snorted coldly, but the greatsword did not slow in the slightest. It swept sideways, and the void surged like a giant wave, rolling toward the black mist chains.

When the void settled, all the black mist chains had vanished.

"That’s impossible."

Chthon shouted in disbelief. How could a mere newly ascended Ancient God match him in time manipulation? This wasn’t magic! Naturally, Chthon did not know that Adam was Wang Bert’s clone. His command of time was on Wang Bert’s level, and with a trace of the Time Concept added in, even Chthon could not suppress him.

"Chthon, die."

Adam wasted no words. With a swing of the Lucifer Greatsword, space-time twisted. Then, with a casual thrust, the greatsword eerily appeared behind Chthon and stabbed straight for his heart.

"Chaos Space?"

Chthon’s body suddenly exploded into nine clouds of black mist that traversed space and flew in different directions. The nine clouds then turned into nine Chthons. They cast spells together, sending out countless runes that formed a Magic Array in the air.

Seeing this, Adam immediately swung at one of the Chthons. The void heaved into a massive wave, then split into three and attacked Chthon’s clones from different directions.

Chthon did not even glance at the waves. The nine clones simultaneously aimed the Magic Array at Adam. Then, countless rays emerged from the arrays and shot at Adam from all directions.

This spell was called Ray Torrent. It included petrification rays, freezing rays, weakening rays… and more.

The rays were thin, but with enough of them, they could become a torrent and completely annihilate an opponent. As the ancestor of Black Magic, Chthon was an out-and-out violent maniac.

"Adam, I thought you were just a weakling, so I had not planned to deal with you. But since you’re this powerful, stay sealed in Hell for a hundred years."

Chthon shouted with lofty majesty. He was confident he could suppress Adam, because he was the ancestor of Black Magic, the great demon god Chthon, one of the strongest Ancient Gods.

"Just you?"

Adam smiled disdainfully and swung his greatsword. A large number of black skulls surged from his body. The moment the rays were affected by the skulls, they immediately descended into chaos and crashed into other rays.

The Chaos Concept could not only throw living beings into chaos. It could also throw attacks, space, and time into chaos.

Chthon sneered and intensified his assault. He did not care how the other side counterattacked. He would simply keep attacking until he completely took his opponent down.

That was how the God of Black Magic fought: simple and brutal.

For now, leaving aside Chthon and Adam’s battle, Captain Marvel Carol was racing forward at full speed, her heart filled with anxiety.

"A diversion. Skye and the others are in danger, and so are those planets. Without us, they can’t possibly withstand the gods."

Carol was frantic with worry. The demon gods were too powerful. Those ordinary planets simply could not resist them. In fact, even the Shi’ar Empire and the Skrull Empire had to use their ultimate Trump Cards to destroy those demon gods.

The problem was that without portals, the Trump Cards could not be transported there.

"Faster. I need to go faster."

Carol desperately accelerated. Whether something happened to Skye or those planets, the alliance would collapse. She had to get back and stop it.

Carol was extremely proud and deeply responsible. She always liked to shoulder everything herself, and this time was no different. She was giving everything she had to turn the tide.

Carol, who was racing along at full speed, did not notice that her speed was constantly increasing—space was becoming part of her, pushing her madly forward.

At that moment, Wang Bert’s voice suddenly rang out in Carol’s mind. "Carol, to travel through space, you don’t necessarily need to understand Space Magic. You only need to merge yourself into space. You are space, and space is you. It’s that simple."

"I am space, and space is me. So it was that simple. Thank you, Master."

Wang Bert’s words struck Carol like enlightenment. She suddenly understood, and her body instantly vanished. When she reappeared, she was already on a planet where a god was wreaking havoc.

"Die."

Carol stacked her hands together, and a dazzling beam over a hundred meters wide roared forth. Before the god could say anything, the energy wave turned it to ashes.

Before the people below could cheer for their hero, Carol vanished again, heading for another planet.

She was space, and space was her. She could go wherever she wanted.

Space Concept—I am space.

Chthon’s true body noticed Carol’s movements and snorted. He once again cast a space-confinement spell, but to his surprise, Carol was barely affected. The moment she finished eliminating a demon god, she disappeared again.

"A Concept? Since when did Concepts become so common that everyone has one?"

Chthon frowned deeply. Why did he feel as if the times had abandoned him? "Earth’s Super Heroes really are all cheating."

Wang Bert smiled. It seemed there would be no need to use his other piece.

Who was that other piece? It was Gorr the God Butcher, who was slaughtering demon gods on another planet. If Carol had failed to comprehend it, Wang Bert would have sent Gorr to deal with those gods.

As for transportation, that was no big deal. A single treasure could solve it.

Wang Bert could not act personally, but that did not mean he could not use treasures.

Wang Bert had plenty of Trump Cards. It would not be so easy for Hela to force all of them out.

Every Creator God had their own foundation. Wang Bert’s foundation was—wealth!…

In space, Doctor Doom finished wiping out the insect army and immediately activated his nuclear power, flying at full speed into the distance. He did not know how large the area covered by the space-confinement spell was, but no matter how large it was, it had limits. It could not possibly cover the entire universe.

In other words, as long as he kept flying forward, he would eventually leave the spell’s range.

An hour later, Doctor Doom discovered that he could use magic again. He was overjoyed and hurriedly prepared to return to the Frontlines when Wang Bert’s voice rang out in his mind. "Go save the other planets. I’ll send you the coordinates."

Doctor Doom asked, "Will the Frontlines be all right?"

"With me here, what could possibly go wrong?"

Wang Bert smiled. If the situation truly collapsed, he would immediately take action—meaning his Bald Clone would.

"All right. I’ll deal with the other demon gods."

Doctor Doom nodded, opened a portal, and headed to another planet.

Strange did not have Doom’s powerful drive. After eliminating the demon gods and the insect army, he sat atop a mountain to seek enlightenment. Ahem, that was wrong. He was studying magic.

Strange planned to break this confinement spell. That way, he could not only save himself, but also rescue the other Super Heroes.

"Vishanti, please grant me your power."

Strange prayed silently, using the Vishanti’s power to break the Black Magic.

The Vishanti were the source of white magic, Chthon’s mortal enemies, and the magic gods worshipped by Kamar-Taj.

It was worth mentioning that the Vishanti were not one person. They were three: Agamotto, Oshtur, and Hoggoth the tiger. The three were one, jointly presiding over the divine authority of white magic.

A wisp of Wang Bert’s consciousness arrived in the Vishanti’s realm. "You three, Chthon has made such a huge move. Don’t you intend to do anything? Once Chthon becomes a Creator God, he won’t spare you."

"Blood God."

The three great beings first nodded in greeting, then Agamotto said, "Chthon cannot become a Creator God unless he devours the three of us. In truth, the reason he is demanding Souls is to wage war against us."

Wang Bert asked, "Devour you?"

"Yes, devour us. We represent white magic, while Chthon represents Black Magic. Only by devouring us can he become the God of Magic."

Agamotto nodded. "At that point, he will become a new Creator God, and this universe will become a magic universe."

"A magic universe?"

Wang Bert’s eyes flickered, and he asked, "Then you should be even more determined to act against Chthon."

Oshtur smiled. "It is not that we do not intend to act, but with you, Blood God, here, when would we have the chance? Take this time, for example. It looks fraught with danger, but in truth, it cannot trouble you at all."

"So you aren’t acting because I’m too powerful?"

Wang Bert laughed. "The rule of magic is equivalent exchange. If you do not act, the Black Magic Concept will not belong to you."

"We know that."

Oshtur said, "Blood God, as long as you can help us obtain the Black Magic Concept, we will follow your command during this insect disaster."

The other two added, "That’s right. We will follow your command."

There was no shame in following a Creator God’s command, especially when the other party had such an illustrious record and the benefits were so great.

"Fine."

Wang Bert nodded. "You do not need to act for now. First, give Kamar-Taj’s disciples a status effect."

"What status effect?"

"During the war, a super comprehension and super advancement status."

Wang Bert said, "I want them to improve rapidly during this war, especially Strange. He has great potential."

The Vishanti agreed at once. "No problem."

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction and turned his gaze toward the distant Heaven and Dark Dimension. He could not help sighing. He wondered when the war between his two Masters would finally be decided.

Heaven and Hell had been closed for several years.

On a dark indigenous planet, insects were desperately assaulting a city. The natives could not hold them back at all. If this continued, they would soon become food for the insects.

At that moment, a hundred blood-red shadows and ten flying minivans appeared out of thin air atop a mountain, staring bloodthirstily at the insects below.

A beautiful Vampire widened her eyes and said in a trembling voice, "So many insects."

Another Vampire asked, "Are you scared? These insects are our targets. We have to eliminate them."

"No, I’m excited."

The beautiful Vampire grinned, her two fangs gleaming. "The Blood God said that as long as we complete the mission, he’ll grant us God Blood. Wow, God Blood! Ever since I tasted God Blood once, I haven’t even been interested in picking up men."

"God Blood!"

All the Vampires grew excited. To Vampires, God Blood was the ultimate delicacy, more enticing than anything else.

Ever since they had tasted God Blood once, their goals in life had changed. For the rest of their lives, they lived only to drink God Blood again.

And now, they had such an opportunity.

"Move out. Ten people per city. Eliminate all the insect race as quickly as possible."

The captain shouted. All the Vampires nodded at once. Then, with a thought, the Symbiotes inside their bodies transformed into armor that covered them.

That was right, Symbiotes. Vampires and Symbiotes were a perfect match, with no rejection whatsoever. Both the Blood Clan and the Symbiotes were extremely satisfied with each other.

It was worth mentioning that all this armor came with wings. In other words, they could fly.

Next, the hundred people split into ten squads. One squad remained in this city, while the others boarded flying minivans and headed for other cities.

Why were there flying minivans? The Osborn Corporation would tell you that it was the chairman’s design.

"Those insects will definitely think something is wrong with our heads when they see there are only ten of us."

The squad captain laughed as he led his members toward the insect army. One member laughed as well. "I think something is wrong with our heads too."

Everyone burst into laughter. At that moment, a barrage of spike arrows shot from the insect army toward the ten Vampires. The ten Vampires sneered in unison and dodged at astonishing speed.

Every one of these Vampires who had consumed God Blood was a super elite. With Symbiotes added on top, how could they possibly be hit so easily? Seeing that the arrow barrage was ineffective, the insect commander immediately sent a flying squad of several hundred insects charging toward the Vampire squad.

"Split up. I’ll deal with this squad."

The squad captain ordered. The members nodded and broke away, flying down toward the insect army below.

Very soon, the flying insects caught up with the squad captain. He did not fight them head-on, instead relying on his speed to evade continuously. Once the other nine members were all ready, he shouted, "Begin."

Immediately afterward, all ten Vampires pulled a grenade from their clothes and hurled it forcefully into the insect swarm.

Boom! The grenades exploded amid the insects, and large amounts of blood-red mist enveloped the swarm.

When the blood mist dispersed, every insect that had inhaled it had blood-red eyes and was filled with bloodlust. The ten Vampires grinned as they continued throwing grenades and ordered the Ghoul Slaves to attack their own kind.

The blood mist inside the grenades was Vampire Virus. Those who inhaled it became Vampire servants, known simply as Ghoul Slaves.

Ghoul Slaves were not true Vampires. They possessed little intelligence and were much like puppets. Furthermore, they had to keep drinking blood constantly. Without blood, they would quickly die.

The developer of the Vampire Virus was Lizard Doctor. Since the New Human Project had failed to make progress for a long time, Wang Bert transferred Lizard Doctor to the Osborn Corporation and had him participate in the research.

In the end, that bastard Lizard Doctor could not change his rotten ways. He failed to create new humans, but he did create the Vampire Virus.

Wang Bert’s face darkened on the spot. He immediately kicked Lizard Doctor out of the team and permanently sealed away the Vampire Virus.

But the world was unpredictable. The Vampire Virus, which could not be used on Earth, had become a divine weapon on an alien battlefield.

That was why ten Vampires dared to challenge an entire insect army alone.

Not enough troops? Simple. Just turn the enemy into your own people.

"Kill, kill, kill!"

The Vampires laughed wildly, leading an ever-growing army of Ghoul Slaves in a head-on battle against the insect army. When the survivors in the city saw their saviors appear, they heaved a huge sigh of relief.

But then again, were those really saviors? Why did they seem even more terrifying than the insects? "With over a thousand Vampire troops, they should be able to save some of the indigenous planets."

Sensing the situation on the indigenous planets, Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction. He had done all he could. As for the rest, it would depend on their own fate.
