Void Shatter

"Damn, I really can’t kill you."

Hearing the Demon Dragon Lord’s words, Wang Bert was speechless. He turned to Adam and asked, "Why do I feel like I lost even though I clearly won?"

"Because you really can’t kill him."

Adam shrugged and summoned the power of Hell’s origin to write a contract in the air. "Demon Dragon Lord, sign the contract and become my subordinate for two hundred years."

"You are unworthy. Only the Blood God is qualified to be my ally."

The Demon Dragon Lord spoke proudly, leaving everyone even more speechless. This guy actually knew how to flatter people.

"I thought Mephisto was the most shameless one in Hell. I never expected this lousy dragon to be the real champion."

Lucifer said with a dark expression. The other lords felt the same way. This guy’s existence was practically dragging down the prestige of Hell Lords.

The Elders of the Universe looked at the Hell Lords with utter contempt. These kinds of creatures were Hell Lords?

Wang Bert was not foolish enough to sign a contract with a Demon King. He said coldly, "Sign the contract with Adam. You are both Demon Kings, so neither of you can tamper with it."

Seeing that his scheme had failed, the Demon Dragon Lord turned to Adam and said, "Two hundred years for the Blood God. As for you, one hundred years at most."

Adam sneered. "Two hundred years, not one second less. Refuse, and I’ll have the Blood God kill you immediately."

"Then two hundred years it is. But you are not qualified to order me around."

The Demon Dragon Lord snorted and signed a contract of Hell’s origin with Adam. For the next two hundred years, he would obey Adam’s commands. If he disobeyed, Adam could take his life at any time.

"Blood God, you can let me go now, right?"

The Demon Dragon Lord said proudly, "I’ll fight alongside you and kill those Hell Lords."

"Why does it feel like you’re the one who won?"

Wang Bert could not help mocking him. Then, with a wave of his hand, all the spatial chains around the Demon Dragon Lord vanished. The Demon Dragon Lord let out a deep sigh of relief. He had finally kept his life—more importantly, he had not lost his bearing.

"Since you surrendered, I’ll give this spell to the Succubus Lord."

Wang Bert turned his gaze toward the Succubus Lord. She immediately dropped to her knees and said to Adam, "Lord Adam, I am willing to be your mount for five hundred years."

"You wish."

Adam scoffed and wrote up another contract. "Five hundred years. Those were your own words."

"Whatever. Five hundred years isn’t that long."

The Succubus Lord signed the contract without hesitation. It was nothing to her. In Hell, succubi were originally meant to be the concubines of the strong.

Wang Bert nodded in satisfaction. With this, they had gained two more Hell Lords.

Seeing both the Demon Dragon Lord and the Succubus Lord surrender, Lucifer and the other Hell Lords looked grim. Lucifer snorted. "Blood God, even with three Hell Lords helping you, you will still die today."

"That’s right. Blood God—and the three of you as well—you will all die today."

The other Hell Lords shouted threats one after another. Wang Bert snorted. A small formation suddenly split off from the Magic Array before him. Then the formation vanished, and Lucifer and the One-Eyed Lord were simultaneously enveloped by rapidly shrinking rings of spatial light.

Lucifer and the One-Eyed Lord were both shocked. Lucifer immediately slashed apart the spatial ring with his Pitch-Black Greatsword, then beat his wings and fled.

The One-Eyed Lord controlled his single eye and continuously fired at the spatial ring, making it tremble without end. But in the end, he could not break it. The ring flashed, taking him away with it.

In Adam Hell, the five-meter-tall One-Eyed Lord, with two horns, one eye, and a suit of pitch-black armor, looked at Adam, the Demon Dragon Lord, and the Succubus Lord as they surrounded him. He could not help swallowing.

"Damn it."

Lucifer’s expression was incomparably ugly, though he also felt somewhat fortunate. Good thing he had escaped. Otherwise, he would have been the unlucky one.

Without hesitation, Lucifer immediately returned home to replace his projection. The other Hell Lords did the same. The Elders of the Universe looked at them with contempt. What could a bunch of cowards like them ever accomplish? Lucifer sneered, "As if you Elders of the Universe aren’t afraid of death? If you truly weren’t, you would have gone to war with the Blood God long ago."

The Astronomer said calmly, "We must preserve our useful lives to protect the universe."

The Grandmaster also shouted, "That’s right. Our lives are far more valuable than the lives of you lords."

The Hell Lords sneered. They were genuine villains, while the Elders of the Universe were all hypocrites.

Leaving aside the Hell Lords’ contempt for the moment, the surrounded One-Eyed Lord showed no fear. He shouted, "Blood God, you don’t dare kill me."

"Tch."

Everyone scoffed in unison. The Demon Dragon Lord said, "One-Eyed, can you stop copying me?"

"Two hundred years, no problem, right? I’ll start writing the contract."

Adam began drawing upon Hell Power. The Elders of the Universe looked down on the Hell Lords even more. They were all like this—no wonder Hell Lords always lost to the Ancient One.

The One-Eyed Lord froze, realizing they had misunderstood. He hurriedly waved his hands. "I’m not surrendering. Blood God, you really don’t dare kill me."

"Got it, got it. I really don’t dare kill you. Adam, make it three hundred years. I’m feeling very annoyed right now."

Wang Bert said. Why were all Hell Lords like this? "I said I’m not surrendering."

The One-Eyed Lord roared angrily. Everyone looked at him as if they understood perfectly. The One-Eyed Lord was going mad. I’m really not surrendering!

The Demon Dragon Lord kindly reminded him, "Brother, you’re overacting. Stop acting, or they might add more time."

"Exactly. Hurry up and sign it. Three hundred years, and we’ll be on the same side from now on. Later, I’ll treat you to Dragon Meat, freshly sliced."

Adam sent the contract before the One-Eyed Lord and spoke. The Demon Dragon Lord immediately glared at Adam. I’ve already become your subordinate, and you still want to eat my dragon tail? "Then sign it… damn it, I’m not surrendering."

Just as the One-Eyed Lord raised his hand, he suddenly came to his senses and roared, "Blood God, I’ve got someone backing me. You don’t dare kill me."

"You really aren’t surrendering? You should have said so sooner. I’ll gladly grant your wish."

Wang Bert was overjoyed. The Magic Array, which had stopped, activated once more and shone with dazzling light.

"What a waste of my time. So you weren’t surrendering."

Adam sneered and said to the Demon Dragon Lord and the Succubus Lord, "Stabilize the space. Don’t let him escape."

"Fine."

The Demon Dragon Lord and Succubus Lord nodded at the same time. Now that they were following the Blood God, they naturally had to perform well.

The One-Eyed Lord roared, "Damn it, didn’t you hear me? I’ve got someone backing me."

"Since when has an Earth Guardian ever feared someone’s backing?"

Wang Bert sneered. "Go die obediently. As for whoever is backing you, if he dares come for revenge, I’ll kill him too."

"One-Eyed Lord, the Blood God is a madman. What’s the point of telling him someone is backing you?"

The Demon Dragon Lord sneered. "You’ll never understand the thoughts of a madman."

Wang Bert glared angrily at the Demon Dragon Lord. Was there a subordinate like this? He even dared look down on his boss?

The Demon Dragon Lord gave an awkward laugh. He still was not used to being a subordinate. He should have said that sort of thing behind Wang Bert’s back.

The Demon Dragon Lord shouted at the One-Eyed Lord, "One-Eyed Lord, surrender. Otherwise, you really will die."

"You think everyone is as afraid of death as you are? Forget that I have someone backing me—even if I didn’t, I would only die gloriously in battle."

The One-Eyed Lord snorted. The Hell Lords all cheered for him. At last, there was a real tough guy. If the One-Eyed Lord surrendered too, the Hell Lords would lose all face.

"Then I’ll grant your wish."

Wang Bert had never intended to force every Hell Lord into surrendering. The formation before him gradually took shape, while the surrounding void shook violently like rippling water.

"You can’t kill me. Supreme Eye Demon, your descendant begs for your descent."

Knowing that he was no match for the Blood God, the One-Eyed Lord directly sacrificed blood to summon his ancestor. The sky over Adam Hell suddenly darkened. Then, an eye larger than a lake opened amid the dark clouds, gazing evilly and chaotically at everyone below.

"Eye Demon Shuma-Gorath!"

Both the Hell Lords and the Elders of the Universe cried out in alarm. This was an ancient demon god, vastly stronger than the new generation of demon gods.

They had never expected the One-Eyed Lord really did have someone backing him.

"Now the Blood God is in trouble."

The Hell Lords and Elders of the Universe all smiled with schadenfreude. The Blood God was indeed cunning, but unfortunately, his luck was bad. He had picked a truly difficult opponent.

Though it was not Shuma-Gorath’s true body, Shuma-Gorath’s power combined with the One-Eyed Lord’s body was enough to give the Blood God a serious beating.

"Eye Demon."

Wang Bert scoffed unhappily, but that was all. He did not feel the slightest fear.

The Eye Demon looked at Wang Bert with interest and spoke through telepathy. "Mad Blood God, I have wanted to meet you for a long time."

"Hey, don’t talk nonsense. Who are you calling mad?"

Wang Bert shouted in dissatisfaction. The Eye Demon continued, "You even dared offend that guy. Of course you’re a madman."

"That’s called integrity, confidence, and dominance. Do you understand?"

Wang Bert sneered. "Back then, didn’t you all see what my Master did as the actions of a madman? But what happened? Who among you doesn’t give her a thumbs-up now?"

"A thumbs-up is a thumbs-up, but in our eyes, the Ancient One is still a madwoman."

The Eye Demon said, "That guy made many full-body statues of you in his dimension and beats them every day to vent his anger. But he won’t get the chance to kill you, because you will die by my hand today. I’ll take your corpse and soul to humiliate him."

Wang Bert mocked, "Are you ancient gods all this petty?"

"No, that guy is especially petty."

The Eye Demon closed its eye and turned into a ray of light that descended onto the One-Eyed Lord. The One-Eyed Lord’s single eye abruptly became crimson, filled with endless evil and chaos. Then vast amounts of demonic energy erupted from his body, rapidly transforming into one tentacle after another.

Just as the tentacles were about to take shape, Wang Bert suddenly fired a ray of spatial light at the One-Eyed Lord—or rather, the Eye Demon. The Eye Demon instantly vanished.

This was Wang Bert’s trump card: Dimensional Banishment.

"Goodbye."

Wang Bert waved. Did they think he had to fight just because the Eye Demon wanted to? Go eat dirt.

The lords were dumbfounded. They had been waiting for a good show, so why had the Eye Demon suddenly disappeared? The next moment, the Eye Demon appeared outside Adam Hell. While wildly attacking the Elders of the Universe’s energy barrier with its tentacles, it roared, "Blood God, how dare you toy with me?"

"Why not?"

Wang Bert snorted. He pushed both hands forward, and the Magic Array that had been maintained for so long instantly appeared outside Adam Hell.

Then the formation activated. Countless cracks appeared in the void and swept toward the Hell Lords in dense waves, each one as sharp as the keenest blade.

If there had been only one Hell Demon King outside, he would have been severely injured even if he did not die. But there was now a group of Hell Demon Kings outside, including the One-Eyed Lord possessed by the Eye Demon. The moment they saw the formation appear, they exerted their power together and suppressed the spatial cracks, preventing them from spreading further.

"Blood God, do you think you alone can challenge all of Hell?"

The Flame Demon Lord sneered. "You’re overestimating yourself."

"That’s right, you’re overestimating yourself. Once we get in, your time of death will come."

The other lords shouted as well. Wang Bert smiled disdainfully and pointed toward the sky. A massive spatial gate appeared above the Hell Lords. Then, a reactor chamber fell from the heavens.

The lords were not particularly sensitive to advanced technology. When they saw something radiating immense energy falling toward them, they instinctively attacked, intending to destroy it.

"No! That’s the Kree Empire’s Antimatter Reactor!"

Sensing something, the Astronomer shouted in alarm, but it was too late. The Antimatter Reactor instantly exploded upon being attacked. Pitch-black energy swept across the surroundings. Combined with the previous spatial formation, the entire void shattered and became a Space Storm that even Hell Demon Kings feared.

In an instant, the projections of those Hell Lords were shredded to pieces. Only the Eye Demon struggled to hold on within the storm.

At that moment, the Space Storm struck the energy barrier erected by the Elders of the Universe. The barrier held for only a moment before exploding with a boom. The Elders of the Universe’s projections were all swept in and turned into fragments.

"Adam."

Wang Bert called out. Adam nodded, sealed Adam Hell, and blocked the Space Storm outside.

Because he was inside Hell, the Grandmaster was lucky enough not to die. He roared, "Blood God, you actually set us up?"

"They were only projections. Your true bodies didn’t die, so what’s the problem?"

Wang Bert said, "Fine, since you care so much, consider your promised service completed early. All right, you can get lost now."

"Blood God."

The Grandmaster gritted his teeth. It was obvious the Blood God had done it deliberately. He had not only plotted against the Hell Lords, but also against the Elders of the Universe.

"I said you can get lost."

Wang Bert shouted coldly. The Grandmaster glared at him resentfully and returned from Hell to the Main Universe.

The moment he returned to the Main Universe, the Grandmaster’s projection was seized and beaten by the furious Elders of the Universe—the reason it was a group beating was that the Grandmaster’s true body had already been surrounded and beaten nearly into a pig’s head.

"Making bets, setting us up, causing us such huge losses…"

Still not satisfied, the Elders of the Universe grabbed folding stools nearby and smashed him with them. This time, they had truly suffered a massive loss. To block the Hell Lords, the Elders of the Universe had not sent ordinary projections, but projections carrying more than half their power.

With those projections destroyed, it was as if the Elders of the Universe had lost both arms. Their strength had fallen drastically, and they would need at least a century to recover.

Under such circumstances, how could they vent their anger without beating the Grandmaster senseless?

"It has nothing to do with me!"

The Grandmaster wailed while covering his head. His words only enraged the elders further, and they struck even harder. Even now, he still refused to admit his mistake?
