Yao Lao Flew Away, Xuan Yi of the Pill Tower

In the days that followed, Zhuo Kun seemed to have completely become a father, staying by Zi Yan’s side every day. He did not seem to possess the bearing of a Nine Star Dou Sheng at all. If Su Yu had not known Zhuo Kun’s identity, he really would have thought Zhuo Kun was just an ordinary father.

Xuan Yi, one of the three giants of the Pill Tower, had always liked Yao Lao. This time, Su Yu had directly kicked Yao Lao into Xuan Yi’s bedchamber in the Pill Tower. Su Yu did not even need to think about what would happen afterward. Yao Lao definitely would not get any peace.

In the air, Yao Lao was flying at the speed of light. However, he was not flying voluntarily but passively. Yao Lao sighed. "A senior truly is a senior. He’s incredible! But why did Senior kick me???"

Before everyone’s eyes, Yao Lao directly smashed into Xuan Yi’s room. Everyone immediately fell into chaos. That was the room of Xuan Yi, one of the three giants of the Pill Tower!

Yao Lao crawled out from the rubble. After coughing twice and dusting himself off, he looked up and saw Xuan Yi naked. It turned out that the place Yao Lao had crashed into was the bathroom in Xuan Yi’s room.

Yao Lao was so frightened that he immediately turned around. Xuan Yi excitedly threw her arms around him, her voice choked with sobs. "I’m not dreaming, am I? It really is you, Yao Chen."

Yao Lao coughed awkwardly. "Ahem, Xuan Yi, you… you should put on some clothes first."

Xuan Yi gave a soft, obedient hum, then released Yao Lao and began dressing. Listening to the sounds of Xuan Yi getting dressed, Yao Lao could not help swallowing. A wave of bitterness rose in his heart. My senior, that kick was too damn accurate. If only it had gone a little crooked and flown past the Pill Tower…

What Yao Lao did not know was that Su Yu had arranged for him to land here exactly. If he had known, he would have been so depressed that he might have spat blood.

Xuan Yi quickly put on her clothes, then said, "Yao Chen, I’m done."

Yao Lao turned around bitterly and looked at Xuan Yi. Seeing the tears gradually welling up in her eyes, he immediately could not bear it.

"Xuan Yi, I’m not worth you doing this for me." Yao Lao sighed.

Xuan Yi walked before Yao Lao and threw her arms around him. "Whether you’re worth it is for me to decide. I don’t care. This time, I won’t let you run away again. Even if I have to tie you up, I’ll marry you!"

Yao Lao was deeply moved. So many years had passed. He had wronged Xuan Yi once, yet Xuan Yi had continued waiting for him. At this very moment, he felt that he was not worthy of Xuan Yi.

"Xuan Yi, I’m sorry. I’m not worthy of you." Yao Lao spoke in a low voice.

Xuan Yi exploded. "I want to marry you as my wife. If you think you aren’t worthy of me, that’s easy—marry me as my husband instead. Anyway, you only have two choices! Marry me as your wife, or marry me as your husband!"

Now that Xuan Yi had put it that way, if Yao Lao continued looking for excuses, he would be far too cowardly. Warmth filled his heart as he smiled faintly. "Alright. I wronged you decades ago. This time, I’ll marry you and become your husband!"

As he spoke, a happy smile appeared on Xuan Yi’s face. She then rose onto her tiptoes and kissed Yao Lao on the lips.

While the two were passionately kissing, people from the Pill Tower anxiously rushed into Xuan Yi’s room and kicked open the door.

They happened to witness Xuan Yi and Yao Lao kissing passionately. Xuan Yi and Yao Lao were both startled and immediately stopped. Everyone looked at one another, afraid of the sudden silence.

Those people immediately raised their heads to look at the sky, coughed, and said, "I don’t know anything. I didn’t see anything." After saying that, they all ran off in a flash.
