Yuriko

"Seal that bastard in the dining area. I’m going to tear him to pieces."

The lieutenant said hatefully. The guards in the surveillance room nodded. "All right. He’s been avoiding the cameras, but I can roughly guess where he is."

Meanwhile, Wade stopped in delight and said to Psylocke, who was walking over, "You came at just the right time. The main force is behind me. You block them head-on, and I’ll handle the sniping."

"Fine."

Psylocke did not object. Though she looked down on Wade, she did not mind having an extra helper. It would save her quite a bit of trouble.

Soon, Psylocke ran headlong into the lieutenant and his group. The moment the lieutenant saw the mutant, he led the guards in opening fire. A dense barrage of bullets shot toward Psylocke.

Psylocke smiled disdainfully and rapidly swung the Samurai Sword in her hand, forming a purple curtain of light before her. Every bullet was sliced away, clattering to the floor nearby.

Wade blinked. Why did this scene feel a little familiar? Seeing that bullets were useless, the lieutenant pulled a grenade from his waist and threw it at Psylocke. She noticed it immediately, leaped into the air, and kicked the grenade back with the tip of her foot.

The lieutenant was startled and hurriedly dove aside. With a boom, the grenade exploded. The blast rolled outward and shrapnel flew everywhere as the guards cried out in agony.

Psylocke seized the chance to rush into the guards. Her sword rose and fell, cutting them down one after another. Some were even split in half along with their guns.

"No wonder she can make five million. Even if I sold myself, I couldn’t make that much."

Wade sighed, then pulled the trigger. The lieutenant’s head burst like a watermelon.

Things were basically under control here, so let us turn our attention to Wolverine. Under Stryker’s deliberate guidance, he arrived at the Old Laboratory—the laboratory that had turned him into an Adamantium wolf.

Wolverine stared at the familiar yet unfamiliar surroundings, looking somewhat dazed. Then, he walked to the center of the laboratory, where there was a pool of gray molten metal kept at an extremely high temperature.

Wolverine muttered, "Adamantium."

"Once Adamantium cools, it becomes indestructible and cannot be reshaped, so it must remain at high temperatures."

Stryker emerged from a side door with Yuriko. He said, "Wolverine, my failed creation. You’ve finally returned."

At the sight of Stryker, Wolverine’s killing intent surged. His eyes turned bloodshot as he roared, "Stryker, I’m going to kill you."

"You recovered your memories?"

Stryker was a little surprised. He said, "It doesn’t matter. I once thought you were one of a kind, but I was wrong. Yuriko."

At Stryker’s command, Yuriko, dressed in a women’s suit, stepped forward. With a flick of both hands, her nails rapidly lengthened into ten Adamantium spikes.

Wolverine was a little dumbfounded. "She’s like me?"

"No, she’s better than you. Yuriko, dig out his spine for me."

Stryker laughed smugly. Hearing the order, Yuriko immediately lunged forward like a panther, her five fingers viciously clawing at Wolverine’s cheek. Wolverine hurriedly retreated, but three gashes were still torn across the side of his face.

With Wolverine’s healing factor, the cuts healed instantly. He roared and slashed at Yuriko with his claws. Yuriko nimbly dodged, then crouched and drove her nails into Wolverine’s thigh. Wolverine screamed and violently flung her away.

Yuriko rolled across the floor, sprang up, and charged Wolverine again. Wolverine suddenly turned and plunged his claws into Yuriko’s abdomen. Yuriko first let out a muffled groan, then grabbed Wolverine’s wrist and raised her head with an expressionless face.

Wolverine was taken aback. Yuriko took the opportunity to climb onto his body. Then, she locked her powerful legs around Wolverine’s head and hurled him away.

"Damn it."

Wolverine cursed and climbed to his feet, engaging Yuriko in a fierce battle. Both of their weapons were indestructible, and the surrounding walls and equipment immediately suffered badly, being sliced apart one after another.

As Yuriko and Wolverine fought like two wild beasts, blood spraying everywhere, a sickly smile appeared on Stryker’s face. He loved watching mutants slaughter one another.

Just then, a voice suddenly sounded beside Stryker. "They both have super healing factors. No matter how they fight, they’ll always be at full health. Tell me, how long is this supposed to go on?"

Stryker abruptly turned his head and saw a young man standing leisurely beside him. As he reached behind his waist, he asked in surprise, "You’re Bert Wang?"

The newcomer was none other than Wang Bert. He had been on television every day lately and was quite well-known. As a mutant expert, Stryker naturally recognized him.

Wang Bert smiled. "That’s right, it’s me. Surprised?"

"Of course I’m surprised. I thought Professor X or Magneto had infiltrated this place. I never expected it to be a brat like you who hasn’t even grown all his hair yet. You’re courting death. I’ll kill you and use your corpse for experiments."

Stryker pulled a gun from behind his waist and aimed it at Wang Bert, laughing loudly. "Maybe I’ll even create a garbage collector specifically for recycling mutant trash."

"You think that thing in your hand can protect you?"

Wang Bert smiled disdainfully, pulled out a stack of banknotes, and said, "Anyone who tries to hurt me will only hurt themselves."

Stryker was somewhat stunned. What was this guy doing? After hesitating for a moment, he pulled the trigger and fired at Wang Bert. Wang Bert did not even dodge. The next moment, Stryker let out a miserable scream.

That was right—the one screaming was Stryker, not Wang Bert. The bullet ricocheted off the wall and struck Stryker in the thigh. He cried out and collapsed onto the floor, blood pouring from his leg.

"I told you, that thing can’t protect you."

Wang Bert smiled disdainfully, pulled out another stack of banknotes, and said to Yuriko, "Yuriko, return to normal."

The reason Yuriko obeyed Stryker was that he had controlled her with a special drug. That drug was made from the brain secretions of Stryker’s son, Mastermind Jason.

Because his powers were too strong, Stryker’s son had been unable to control his illusions, causing his mother to commit suicide. Stryker therefore came to hate mutants deeply and even turned his own son into Subject 143.

Setting that aside, Money Power was invincible. As the banknotes in Wang Bert’s hand vanished, Yuriko stopped. Her eyes were filled with confusion. Who am I? Why am I here? Seeing Yuriko stop, Wolverine finally breathed a sigh of relief. He now completely understood how his enemies felt when facing him—the feeling of wanting to die because the other side simply could not be killed.

At that moment, a gentle voice sounded beside her. "You are Yuriko. Stryker controlled you for years. I saved you."

"Yuriko? Right, I’m Oyama Yuriko, Deathstrike. My father died at Wolverine’s hands. To get revenge, I had Stryker experiment on me. Who knew he had secretly controlled me…"

Focus gradually returned to Yuriko’s eyes. She suddenly raised her head and stared at Wolverine with hatred.

Wolverine was speechless. Why was she still his enemy? Wang Bert was also speechless. The movie had never explained Yuriko’s backstory. He had no idea Yuriko and Wolverine shared such a blood feud.

Seeing this, Stryker shouted, "Yuriko, without my control, you would have gone insane long ago. Now, the man who killed your father is right in front of you. Kill him."

"Fine."

Yuriko glanced at Stryker, turned, and charged at him. Wolverine had to die, but so did this bastard.

Seeing that, Wolverine immediately rushed over and tackled Yuriko to the ground. Stryker had to die by his hand, or how else could he vent his fury?

Bang! The two hit the ground heavily. Yuriko kicked Wolverine away and tried to keep charging toward Stryker, but Wolverine drove his blades into her back from behind.

Yuriko roared in pain and stabbed her long nails into Wolverine’s waist with a backhand strike. This time, it was Wolverine’s turn to scream. Veins even bulged on his face. My kidneys!

Then, the two resumed their battle as before. Wolverine was fierce, but Deathstrike was no pushover. Their fight grew increasingly intense, and the laboratory gradually became ruins.

"Again?"

Wang Bert was speechless. Had he just done that legendary thing known as pointless busywork?

As Stryker tore off part of his clothes and bound the wound on his leg, he shouted, "This is what you mutants really are—beasts. Beasts that should be eliminated."

Wang Bert sneered. "You’ve got plenty of breath. I hope you can keep it up."

"I hope you can stay this arrogant."

Stryker shouted, "Jason, make him cut the flesh off his own body piece by piece."

Following Stryker’s shout, two soldiers pushed out a man in a wheelchair wearing a white patient’s gown. The man was Stryker’s son, Mastermind Jason.

After the surgical modifications, Jason had become a puppet. Hearing Stryker’s order, he slowly raised his head toward Wang Bert, intending to drag him into an illusion.

Then… nothing happened. Wang Bert picked his nose and said to Stryker, "You gave me a good idea. Later, I’ll have Wolverine deal with you the same way."

"I’d be happy to."

Wolverine turned and shouted at those words. Deathstrike took the chance to kick him flying, then shouted to Wang Bert, "Sir, please give me a chance to take revenge myself."

"Stryker can only die by my hand."

Wolverine furiously slammed Yuriko to the ground, and the two once again began a gruesome battle.

Wang Bert complained, "Why does Uncle Wolf seem to be turning into a husky? Did Thor infect him?"

Seeing that Wang Bert had not changed, Stryker roared angrily, "Jason, what are you waiting for?"

Jason glanced at Stryker fearfully, pulled Stryker into an illusion, and said, "I can’t do it. I can’t invade his mind."

Even Professor X could not invade Wang Bert’s mind, much less Mastermind. Though the current Wang Bert was only a drop of blood, it was still the Creator God’s blood.

"Can’t invade it?"

Stryker froze, then shouted at Jason, who looked like a little boy, "Control those two idiots and make them kill Bert Wang."

"Fine."

Jason was about to comply when a wooden mallet smashed into his head, knocking him unconscious on the spot.

The two soldiers behind Jason were startled and hurriedly raised their guns at Wang Bert. Wang Bert waved his hand, and both men were teleported into Wolverine and Deathstrike’s battlefield.

The next moment, both their bodies were pierced through. They fell with screams.

Wang Bert tossed aside the wooden mallet he had somehow acquired and sneered. "Do you really think I’m that stupid?"

"Teleportation? No wonder you got into the base without making a sound."

Stryker’s eyes narrowed. As he reached into his jacket, he roared, "Mutants will not have a good end. I will destroy all of you."

"I don’t know what mutants were like before, but since I’m here, mutants will never be exterminated."

Wang Bert said, "The Blood God has arrived, so mutants are saved. The Blood God has arrived, and their savior has appeared."

"You overestimate yourself. Today, you will die here."

As he spoke, Stryker pressed the button in his jacket. In a secret chamber at the very bottom of the base, a pair of blood-red eyes abruptly opened.

Immediately afterward, the owner of those eyes vanished. When he reappeared, he was already in the Old Laboratory.

Wang Bert looked at the figure who had appeared out of thin air before him, somewhat surprised. He was actually still alive?

The man before him was bare-chested and wore purple pants. His build and face resembled Wade’s, but not a single hair grew on his head. Moreover, his mouth had been sealed shut, leaving him unable to speak.

This man was the Modified Deadpool from "Wolverine 1," the legendary Deadpool’s Shame.

There were two Deadpools in the X-Men series. One was the Deadpool’s Shame before them, who possessed multiple superpowers but could not speak. The other was Avocado Deadpool from the "Deadpool" movies, who broke the fourth wall.

Incidentally, in "Deadpool 2," Avocado Deadpool had traveled through time to the past and killed Modified Deadpool.

Setting that aside, on Mutant Planet, the two Deadpools existed at the same time and had now even appeared in the same base.

"Logan, do you still remember Wade? He’s missed you very much."

Stryker said with a vicious grin. Back then, Modified Deadpool’s neck had been cut through by Wolverine, and he had fallen into the ruins. Everyone believed he was dead, but he had not actually died because he possessed the super healing factor transplanted from Wolverine.

However, that severe injury had made Modified Deadpool uncontrollable. Left with no other choice, Stryker could only seal him deep within the base.

If he had not been driven into a corner, Stryker would never have released Modified Deadpool, because the other man might even kill him as well.

"Wade?"

Wolverine stared at Modified Deadpool in shock. This Wade looked so much like the Wade outside. Could they be twins? Stryker did not waste time and shouted, "Kill them."

Receiving the command, Modified Deadpool’s eyes immediately glowed red. Then, two laser beams blasted viciously toward Wolverine.

Wolverine hurriedly crossed his claws before himself to block the lasers. Seeing this, Yuriko pushed off the wall and charged toward Stryker.

Wang Bert shook his head, stepped in front of Yuriko, and said, "Yuriko, I need Stryker to do something for me. Once he’s done, you and Logan can deal with Stryker however you want."

"I’m grateful that you saved me, but Stryker must die."

Yuriko shouted. Clearly, she hated Stryker to the bone and did not want him to live another second. Besides, if she did not kill him now, Wolverine would fight her for him again later.

Wang Bert smiled and asked, "You want to fight me?"

Yuriko said nothing and tried to circle around Wang Bert. Wang Bert waved his hand, teleporting Yuriko elsewhere in the base. Then, his voice sounded by her ear. "Go kill the others to vent first. You can kill Stryker later."

Yuriko was helpless. After thinking for a moment, she turned and ran toward the research rooms. Those damned researchers had not treated her kindly before.
