Annihilation

"You bastards, I’ll make you regret this."

Thor was thoroughly dissatisfied with the undead warriors’ performance. Raising his axe, he roared, but at that moment, a gigantic wolf claw swept over him, sending Thor flying far away like a meteor.

"I’ll be waiting."

One particularly obnoxious undead warrior shouted loudly, and everyone burst into laughter. Even Hela rolled her eyes. "Odin’s idiot son."

Odin’s face darkened a little, and he could not help muttering, "What a disgrace to the family."

"Charge with me."

Hela did not waste words. With a swing of her black sword, the Asgardian undead warriors surged toward Skye and Little Hela like a tide.

Ever since the Domain of Death had been introduced, Little Hela had stood there blankly, saying nothing. Skye glanced at her, then stepped forward and shook the void. The first few rows of undead warriors were all shattered into pieces.

Yet, to everyone’s surprise, Black Light flashed, and all those undead warriors resurrected, charging forward again.

"They’re immortal?"

Skye was startled. She violently shook the void, cracking space apart. Spatial rifts surged toward the undead army like nine black dragons. Wherever they passed, countless undead were swallowed by the rifts and died miserably on the spot.

The problem was that these undead were immortal. They soon resurrected elsewhere and rejoined the battle. Although Skye kept attacking, she was gradually surrounded by the undead warriors. There was no helping it; there were simply too many undead.

"Die!"

Not wanting the undead to get close, Skye shouted as the power of vibration erupted. All the surrounding space shattered, killing vast numbers of undead warriors.

That was not all. The shattered space created Space Storms in the area, and any undead caught within them were immediately ground into fragments.

"I was waiting for you to use your ultimate move."

Death runes flashed in Hela’s eyes. The Night Sky Sword slashed toward Skye from afar in an utterly unremarkable motion. Hela had never expected the undead warriors to defeat Skye. She only wanted to divide Skye’s attention and drain her energy.

Skye sensed a deadly crisis and focused harder than ever before. Vaguely, she saw a black sword slashing toward her life line. She threw everything she had into trying to shake the black sword, but it did not budge in the slightest. It cut straight toward Skye’s line of life—or rather, her Death Line.

At that critical moment, a bright white sword appeared out of thin air and knocked the black sword aside. Skye sighed in relief as the black sword, the white sword, and the life line all vanished.

"You can actually break my Death Slash?"

Hela stared at Little Hela in astonishment. Little Hela said, "What’s so strange about that? I learned your Death Slash long ago. I just never had a chance to use it."

"You learned it? That’s impossible. It took me over a hundred years to develop that move. How could you possibly learn it?"

Hela demanded, "And that move requires the concept of death. Where did you get the death concept?"

"I secretly learned it from you. I am you, and you are me. Anything you know, as long as you’ve displayed it in front of me, I can learn."

Little Hela giggled. "As for concepts, I really don’t have the death concept, but I do have the concept of light. My Light Slash differs from yours. It has only two effects.

"First, it cuts away death energy and revives life. However, the target cannot have been dead for too long, and the corpse has to be relatively intact."

Hela’s teeth hurt a little. "My Death Slash is used to kill people, while your Light Slash is used to save them. Are you really me?"

"Of course I am."

Little Hela smiled. "The second ability of Light Slash is specifically meant to counter your Death Slash."

Hela’s teeth hurt even more. "I never should have created you."

"Don’t be so stingy. Look at the bright side. Once I gain Concept Abilities in the future, you can secretly learn them too."

"I need to secretly learn them? I’ll learn them openly when the time comes."

Hela snorted. Then, thinking of something, she asked in shock, "Wait, you can learn all my Concept Abilities?"

"That’s right, including the Domain of Death."

Little Hela brought her hands together. Immediately afterward, boundless light bloomed between her palms, sweeping across the entire underworld. Vast numbers of undead turned to ashes beneath the dazzling radiance.

Hela was startled and hurriedly ordered the undead warriors to retreat. The undead purified by the light would not be completely destroyed, but they could not be used again for a short time.

At that moment, the light released by Little Hela formed a space and merged with the underworld. Thor and Skye both felt the underworld’s suppression vanish, and their strength returned to normal.

However, they still could not sense the outside world. The underworld had not been broken.

"Hela, I like this move of yours."

Thor laughed heartily. With light joining the underworld, it was no longer so cold and had gained much more vitality.

Little Hela said with a smile, "This is my Domain of Light, evolved from the Heart of God. Hela, thank you."

"Thank my ass."

Hela cursed, then said, "So what if you have a Domain of Light? You don’t have an army of light."

"I don’t have an army of light, but I have the Valkyrie Army."

Little Hela smiled faintly. Light blossomed around her as Valkyries riding winged horses appeared beside her one after another.

Every Valkyrie was heroic and valiant. Combined with their gorgeous white armor and pure white winged horses, they looked incredibly cool and dazzling. Thor’s eyes nearly popped out at the sight, and he wished he could become one of the Valkyrie Army.

Wang Bert turned the camera toward Thor, and a horrifying image suddenly came to his mind—Thor with braided hair, wearing women’s clothes, shouting that he was a Valkyrie.

"Damn, could that be any more disgusting? Once I get back to Earth, I need to find a few beautiful women to cleanse my eyes."

Wang Bert shuddered. He decided to keep his distance from Thor in the future. That guy treated Loki so well and wanted to become a Valkyrie. Maybe there was a Little Princess living inside him.

"Hela, we’re back."

Valkyrie shouted at Hela, "This time, we will definitely kill you."

All the Valkyries raised their swords toward Hela and shouted in unison, "That’s right! This time, we will definitely kill you."

Seeing the Valkyrie Army appear, the undead army grew somewhat restless. They knew exactly how powerful the Valkyrie Army was. It was Asgard’s strongest military force.

"Valkyries! Hmph, if I could kill you once, I can kill you a second time."

Hela snorted. She brushed a hand over her head, and countless horns emerged, making her look incomparably ferocious. This meant that she was finally getting serious.

Hela, Battle Form.

Little Hela complained, "Can’t you change your look? It’s so ugly. If they made merchandise of that, no one would buy it."

"I told you, the battlefield calls for intimidation. Besides, my merchandise sells very well. Kill!"

Hela shouted and led the undead army charging toward the other side like a stampeding herd—Super Heroes really had released merchandise based on her, but as for it selling well… well, whatever made her happy.

"Maybe people buy it to use as toothpicks."

Little Hela shrugged. A unicorn appeared beneath her out of thin air, and she shouted, "For the light, for justice, kill!"

"For the light, for justice, kill!"

The Valkyrie Army shouted in unison and charged toward the enemy under Little Hela’s lead, brimming with killing intent. Skye smiled and followed closely behind.

"For the light, for justice, kill!"

Thor’s blood boiled, and he longed to charge alongside the Valkyrie Army. Just then, Fenrir pounced on him and slammed him hard to the ground.

Even Fenrir was speechless. How could someone be this stupid? Getting distracted again and again—did Thor think Fenrir did not exist? "I’ll fight you to the death!"

Thor, whose beautiful dream had been interrupted, flew into a rage. He grabbed Fenrir and punched him wildly. Fenrir naturally fought back. One wolf and one man rolled around on the ground, fighting with great enthusiasm.

"Odin, this is your heir?"

Great Serpent looked utterly disdainful. That guy was simply the shame of Asgard.

Odin covered his face as well. He called into the void, "Blood God, let’s make a deal. Delete this part and don’t broadcast it later."

Odin was now deeply grateful that Asgard had stopped broadcasting long ago. Otherwise, every Asgardian would learn that their acting king was a husky.

Wang Bert said righteously, "No. I’m an artist. I must present the truth to the audience."

"That’s a reporter’s job, not the job of a fake director like you."

Odin snorted. "Delete this part, and I’ll introduce you to Asgardian beauties."

Wang Bert asked disdainfully, "Do you think I’m the sort of person who would abandon his principles for beautiful women?"

"Isn’t that obvious? If not you, then who?"

Odin said irritably, "Stop pretending. At worst, I’ll introduce you to Asgardian sorceresses too."

"Deal."

Wang Bert immediately agreed. Odin gave him a vicious middle finger. How had someone like this become a Creator God? Heaven had no eyes.

"Odin, you’re actually introducing Asgardian beauties to an Earthling? Earthlings are merely our slaves. What right do they have to flirt with our beauties? If anyone gets to do that, it should be me."

Great Serpent shouted in great dissatisfaction. Wang Bert asked, "Still haven’t dealt with your hotheaded big brother?"

"I can’t."

Odin sighed. "His hatred for me is far greater than Hela’s."

"You brought this upon yourself."

Wang Bert paid Great Serpent no attention and turned his focus back to the battlefield.

The Valkyrie Army and the undead army crashed together fiercely like two massive waves. Though the Valkyrie Army had fewer numbers, each Valkyrie was far stronger than an undead warrior. Thus, they did not fall behind as they fought the undead warriors in a chaotic and extraordinarily intense battle.

Hela faced Little Hela and Skye, and the situation returned to how it had been before. Hela gritted her teeth in fury. If Little Hela had not stolen her conceptual techniques, things would never have turned out this way again.

This round, she seemed to have suffered a huge loss.

Little Hela and Skye did not think so much about it. They were enjoying this battle. With Hela as their sparring partner, their strength was advancing by leaps and bounds.

Leaving the battle in the Domain of Death aside for now, let us turn back time a little. When Hela said she was going to use her ultimate move, Annihilus blasted Hulk and Captain Marvel away with a Shockwave.

Then, Annihilus stood in the void and said, "You truly are strong. Since that is the case, let me show you my real strength."

Hulk complained, "Don’t tell me that because you were lonely at the top, you put several seals on yourself and are now planning to remove them."

Carol asked speechlessly, "What kind of plot is that? Who would be stupid enough to do that?"

Hulk shook his head. "Comic book plot. Not necessarily stupid, but it feels way too pretentious."

Carol was about to say something when Annihilus roared, "Enough! I’ll make you understand the price of humiliating me."

As Annihilus roared, the phantom image of a world suddenly appeared behind him. It was the Negative Space where all the insect race lived.

The moment the Negative Space phantom appeared, Annihilus’s aura surged dramatically, even crossing the line of divinity and becoming an ancient god.

That was right, an ancient god. Annihilus was somewhat similar to the Dormammu of the past. Both possessed ancient god-level strength only within their own worlds.

At this moment, Annihilus summoned the projection of Negative Space and returned himself to the level of an ancient god. Then, spreading his ten fingers, he fired ten black rays that pierced through space and shot toward Carol and Hulk.

As mentioned before, ancient gods could manipulate time, and Annihilus was no exception. All ten of his rays were accelerated. The instant they were fired, they had already reached Hulk and Carol. The two had no time to dodge and could only barely avoid vital areas.

The next second, the ten rays passed through Carol and Hulk’s bodies, leaving five small holes in each of them. To their shock, these wounds could not heal.

That was right. The wounds on Hulk and Carol could not heal, as if those ten small holes did not exist.

"So what if you can regenerate? My attacks can completely annihilate matter and prevent it from recovering."

Annihilus said arrogantly. He possessed the concept of annihilation and could erase the existence of something at its very root, even on an abstract level.

For example, if Annihilus erased your heart, then no matter what ability you used, your heart could never regenerate, because the concept of a heart had already been erased.

Hulk and Carol both sucked in a breath of cold air. This ability was terrifying. If it struck a vital point, it would kill them on the spot.

"For the last time, will you surrender?"

Annihilus asked again. "If you refuse, I will completely annihilate your bodies and souls. At that point, not even death will be able to revive you."

"I told you, you aren’t worthy of making us surrender."

Hulk and Carol exchanged a glance and unleashed their full power at the same time. Carol shouted as Cosmic Power poured madly into her body. The dazzling radiance around her abruptly increased tenfold, her golden hair flying high as she looked utterly imposing.

Not only that, all the space around Carol came under her control. Even Annihilus’s Negative Space was affected and flickered a few times.

Annihilus’s expression changed slightly before his killing intent surged. This woman had to die. If she did not, she would interfere with the insect race’s grand plan.

While Carol absorbed Cosmic Power, Hulk used the authority Wang Bert had given him to shout to every living being in the Entire Universe, "I am Hulk, an Earth Super Hero. I am fighting the insect race. Please lend me your anger."

"Hulk?"

The people of Earth froze for a moment, then immediately sent their anger to Hulk. As for the aliens, they were bewildered. Who was Hulk? Why was he asking them for anger? And would he pay for it?

Although most aliens ignored Hulk’s request, one group, upon hearing it, immediately sent all their anger to Hulk without conditions. They had only one request: do not let the insect race go.

They were the victims of the insect disaster, and they hated the insect race beyond measure.

Massive amounts of anger flooded into his body. Unable to bear the burden, Hulk let out a roar as his entire body expanded wildly. In the blink of an eye, he became a towering super giant, with even a single leg hair over ten meters long.

Fortunately, Hulk’s pants were magical pants. Otherwise, everyone on the main planet would have suffered extreme visual pollution.
