Slap in the Face, Retreat

"Hulk, invincible."

Even after becoming a giant, Hulk’s rage remained endless. He roared and stomped hard toward Annihilus. The space below was directly destroyed, turning into a spatial torrent that surged toward Annihilus.

"Wow."

Everyone present, including the spectators, stared with their mouths agape. Hulk was simply too powerful, too imposing now. He was as terrifying as the Celestial Group said to destroy planets in legends.

"He is indeed powerful, but so what? You are still not an ancient god."

Annihilus sneered and manipulated time around himself. Then, he shot into the sky and appeared behind Hulk’s head as if by Teleportation.

Without wasting words, Annihilus gathered Annihilation Shockwaves in both hands, preparing to pierce Hulk’s brain. It was simply too fast for Hulk to react in time. Fortunately, he was not alone.

Carol, who possessed Space Power, appeared before Annihilus at once. She thrust both hands forward, and the energy around her transformed into a massive pillar of light that blasted toward Annihilus.

Annihilus did not dare be careless. It released an Annihilation Shockwave to meet Carol’s beam. When the two energies collided, a violent explosion erupted. The surrounding space shattered wildly, making the scene look like the end of the world from afar.

"This woman must die."

Annihilus manipulated time and suddenly appeared beside Carol. Next, it condensed a massive amount of energy into a giant sword and viciously slashed down at her.

Carol created space and Teleported behind Annihilus. The energy around her turned into countless densely packed spears that bombarded Annihilus from above.

Annihilus was somewhat startled. It hurriedly manipulated time to evade, then gathered Negative Space Energy and released a beam over a hundred meters thick at Carol.

Carol hurriedly controlled Cosmic Energy into a shield before her. Although she successfully blocked the attack, the beam still drove her backward like a meteor.

Annihilus had barely sent Carol flying when Hulk’s palms came crashing down with shattered space around them. Annihilus sneered, manipulated time, and rushed in front of Hulk’s eyes. Annihilation light lit up across all ten of its fingers.

"No matter how strong your power is, what use is it if you cannot hit anyone?"

Annihilus was utterly disdainful. Just as it was about to attack, Hulk blinked, absorbing all of Annihilus’s rage.

"What a peaceful feeling."

Annihilus was stunned for a moment, but quickly recovered. It had been distracted for less than a second.

A second was brief, but it was enough for Carol. She shouted, and boundless Cosmic Energy transformed into a Battleship Blade over a thousand meters long, slashing through the void toward the Negative Space Projection.

The Negative Space Projection was actually a Space Channel. Under Carol’s ferocious Battleship Blade, the Space Channel exploded with a bang and became a violent spatial current.

The surging power around Annihilus immediately vanished, dropping it from its ancient god state to the peak of godhood.

"How could this happen?"

Annihilus’s expression changed drastically. Before it could do anything, Hulk gave a savage grin. His enormous head rammed forward like a planet. As always, the most important thing was knowing how to use one’s brain.

Seeing that it had no time to dodge, Annihilus simply lit up with pitch-black Annihilation light. Then, it spun wildly in place like a drill, waiting for Hulk to crash into it.

When that happened, Annihilus would be badly injured, while Hulk would die.

Hulk’s expression changed slightly. He immediately activated Pym Particles, and his body rapidly shrank. His head swept beneath Annihilus without colliding head-on.

Annihilus breathed a sigh of relief. Just as it was about to flee, an extreme sense of danger rose in its heart. Turning around, it saw a massive green Shockwave blasting toward it. The Shockwave contained infinite rage, with countless shadowy figures appearing and disappearing within it, seeking to kill the true culprit.

This was Hulk’s Roar, an energy attack Hulk had developed himself.

"How could I lose to a bunch of food like you?"

Annihilus roared. Its body split in two down the middle. One half remained in place while the other fled from the Shockwave’s range at astonishing speed.

The next moment, one half of Annihilus was destroyed, while the other half escaped with its life.

"You think you can escape?"

Carol appeared beside Annihilus in dazzling light, countless solidified energy constructs bombarding it one after another.

"Why would I run?"

Annihilus roared as the Negative Space Projection appeared again. Its body rapidly repaired itself, while a large amount of Negative Space Energy surged out and blocked all of Carol’s attacks.

"You can summon it again so quickly?"

Carol and Hulk, who had returned to his original size, were both shocked. They truly could not defeat Annihilus in this state.

There was still a gap between an ancient god and one who was not.

"I am the ruler of Negative Space. I can summon Negative Space whenever I want. Today, you are all dead."

Annihilus said hatefully. It had never expected to suffer such a loss against two pieces of food. If it had not possessed a few life-saving methods, it might really have died just now.

"Is that so? If I can destroy it once, I can destroy it a second time."

Carol sneered and spread her arms. The space across the entire planet shook. "I am Blood God’s disciple and possess spatial authority. I want to sever your Space Channel. Who can stop me?"

"Blood God!"

Annihilus’s expression changed slightly. It knew who Blood God was: a newly ascended Creator God and the master of space. If this woman truly possessed Blood God’s authority, this battle would become troublesome.

"What arrogant words. So what if it is Blood God? He is nothing but a despicable little man."

At that moment, an arrogant voice suddenly rang out. A figure then appeared in the sky, looking down at everyone coldly.

The figure was thin and had long white hair. It was Knull, god of the Symbiotes—the Knull of the Main Universe had not died. The ones who died were Knulls from the Future Universe and parallel universes.

Seeing Knull, Annihilus was overjoyed. It hurriedly shouted, "Knull, you came at the right time. Join us and destroy this planet."

"Knull? This is bad."

Everyone’s expressions changed at once. They could not even handle an ancient god like Annihilus, much less an old Super Ancient God like Knull.

"You are all trash…"

Knull sneered. Just as he was about to say something, a majestic, sacred voice suddenly rang out from the sky. "Blasphemy against a Creator God. Slap yourself."

With that voice, time across the entire Main Star stopped. Humans, aliens, raging winds, dust, flying energy waves, missiles… everything froze.

However, because Wang Bert had deliberately allowed it, everyone’s minds could still function. They were filled with terror. What kind of power was this, to stop an entire planet? "Time Concept?"

Knull’s expression changed slightly. He tried to break free from time’s restraints, only to discover that the other party’s Time Power was extraordinarily strong. Even he could not break free in a short time.

At that moment, Bald Wang Bert stepped out of the void and walked up to Knull, raising his hand with a smile.

"Blood God, how dare you?"

Knull roared furiously through his mind. Wang Bert said nothing and gave Knull eighteen slaps in rapid succession. The sounds were crisp, with not a trace of distortion—absolutely perfect.

Knull’s face turned crimson with rage. He was a mighty ancient god, yet he was being humiliated like this? "Show respect to a Creator God, or you will die."

Wang Bert said with a smile. It was true that Creator Gods could not act casually, but Creator Gods were the most exalted beings in the universe. How could they allow others to insult them freely?

Knull roared mentally, "I will not let you off."

"The current you is not qualified to fight my true body, because we are now on completely different levels."

Wang Bert smiled slightly. "All right, you can get lost now. Be more obedient next time."

With Wang Bert’s words, Knull flew away from the Main Star like a meteor, disappearing in the blink of an eye.

"All right, it is settled. Everyone, continue."

Wang Bert snapped his fingers. Time returned to normal, and his body vanished at the same time.

Although time had resumed, both sides fell silent. What had just happened was far too shocking.

An ancient god had been humiliated and driven away just like that. That was an ancient god, an ancient god whose might dominated the universe, not some random nobody!

"So this is a Creator God."

Tony sighed in amazement. He finally gained a true understanding of Creator Gods. Though Wang Bert did not resemble a Creator God at all, he really had become one, a Creator God who stood above all living beings in the universe.

"So this is Master’s power? No wonder Master said I was still far from him. Heh, this is more than being far away. This is a galaxy-level gap."

Carol smiled bitterly. Even a strong-willed woman like her felt discouraged at that moment. Could she really catch up to Master? Skye and Little Hela smiled happily. "Looks like we can be even more arrogant from now on. We have someone backing us."

"So Blood God really became a Creator God. So Creator Gods are this powerful. Divine power is probably no more than ants to him."

The representatives exclaimed in amazement. The Sovereign High Priest was so excited she could barely contain herself. This was their god, their great god.

Under the sea, because time on the Main Star had stopped, the light screen froze as well. Great Serpent cursed loudly, "Odin, what kind of lousy magic is this? It froze at such a crucial moment? Can you be any more embarrassing? Earth’s software does not freeze even after running for more than ten hours."

"It did not freeze. A great being made a move."

Odin shook his head, awe and envy flashing in his eyes. This was a Creator God, the realm he had dreamed of attaining.

"A great being? Where did some great being come from?"

Great Serpent snorted disdainfully. "No matter what great being it is, it cannot be Knull’s match. Knull has existed longer than the universe itself. He is an ancient god among ancient gods.

That planet is doomed today, Odin. Your son is doomed too. Haha, what wonderful news."

Odin shook his head and said nothing, because there was no point. Great Serpent would never believe that someone could become a Creator God from a mortal in just a few years.

Come on, even novels were not that outrageous, were they? If a novel wrote something like that, people would definitely curse the author for making the cheat too overpowered.

At that moment, the light screen trembled and returned to normal, but the situation was completely different from before—Knull had vanished, while everyone else stood there stupidly, looking utterly terrified.

Great Serpent looked stunned and shouted, "What happened? Where is Knull?"

Odin smiled without speaking. I know, but I am not telling you.

"Suddenly, this has become rather boring. Insect Emperor, retreat."

On the battlefield, Hela sighed, withdrew the Domain of Death and Fenrir, and fled toward space. Annihilus was also frightened by Wang Bert. It called to the surviving insect generals, turning into a streak of light as they fled into space.

"Not a chance."

Hulk, Carol, Skye, Little Hela, Thor, and the others immediately chased after them.

At this point, only four of the nine god-level insect generals remained alive. Hearing Annihilus’s call, they immediately fled outward. Naturally, the Super Heroes would not let them go and chased relentlessly behind them.

"This is the Godslayer Armor’s first battle. How can I let you escape?"

Tony kept firing lasers at the insect general whose body was covered in holes. The insect general cursed and prepared to travel through the void. At that moment, spatial light lit up around both of Tony’s arms, sealing off the surrounding void.

Black technology: Space Anchor.

"How is this possible?"

The insect general, forced out of space, was greatly shocked. Before it could think further, Tony charged forward. Nanoparticles formed a Vibranium Particle Blade, and with one slash, he cut the insect general in half.

The insect general did not die and continued struggling. Tony snorted and released all his Space Energy. A massive wave of Space Energy howled forth, reducing the insect general to ashes.

"Done. Slaying a god as a mortal—other than me, Tony Stark, who else can do it? Who else?"

Tony laughed triumphantly. Tony Stark could slay gods too.

Just as Tony was showing off, the Godslayer Armor began falling because its energy was exhausted. Tony was startled and hurriedly put away the Godslayer Armor, replacing it with the Mark Armor.

After a flurry of frantic movements, Tony flew back into the air without falling to his death. He let out a breath, then hurriedly looked around. When he saw that no one had noticed what had happened, he beamed. His image was preserved.

"Cool for less than three seconds."

Wang Bert could not help laughing. This part definitely had to be highlighted in the documentary.

Before long, all the insectoids had fled the Inhumans Main Star. The battle had come to a temporary end. Wang Bert looked down and saw that more than half of the Royal City had vanished, while what remained was ruined and no longer habitable.

This was the terror of god-level powerhouses. Even the aftershocks could destroy an entire city.

Fortunately, Strange and the others had transferred most of the residents away. Aside from the warships at the beginning, there had not been many casualties this time.

"This is only the beginning."

Wang Bert shook his head inwardly and returned to organize the documentary, hoping to air it as soon as possible.

After a while, Skye and the others returned to the Main Star. As expected, Hela and the others had all escaped, but driving back their attack was already a victory.

"The alliance must be formed as soon as possible. We cannot delay any longer. Also, we must immediately head to the Frontlines to take command. The army at the Frontlines is no match for Hela and Annihilus."

Skye said to the representatives. This time, no one objected. Duke Brie said, "Skye, you are the fourth elder. Within the next hour, we will choose the fifth elder.

Then, you and Centurion Lindy will lead the army and the super-powered elites to the Frontlines. Grand Duchess Sarah and I will remain in the rear to handle logistics, deployments, and related matters."

"Fine, no problem. I will establish a temporary command center at the Frontlines, and we will discuss how to deal with the insectoids together."

Skye nodded. She knew her own capabilities. She definitely could not command a war of such enormous scale.
