Chapter 29: I can’t beat you

Godzilla had no idea that the Precursors were so terrified of him that they had fled to their shelters.

He had just used his Atomic Breath to burn a hole and emerge from the Flesh Factory.

When Godzilla came out, the first thing he saw was another gigantic 'meatball' not far from him!

Its shape was identical to the place he had just emerged from.

Godzilla's eyes lit up, and without thinking, he walked towards that Flesh Factory.

Although he had just eaten a fleshy device that seemed capable of creating wormholes, Godzilla wasn't sure if what he ate was indeed that, so he needed to eat a few more to confirm.

Then Godzilla tore open the fleshy wall of another Flesh Factory and crawled inside.

As soon as he entered, Godzilla's vision blurred, and a huge tail lashed out.

Smack!

Godzilla was completely unharmed, but the tail that struck him exploded!

The entire tail was reduced to just bones; its flesh and blood were ripped open from the excessive force.

"Roar!!!"

The enraged roars of Kaiju rang in Godzilla's ears, as Kaiju after Kaiju tore through the fleshy walls and appeared before him.

Clearly, the Precursors did not want Godzilla to so easily destroy their important 'structures'.

Then, Godzilla, with a single claw, struck down and killed all these Kaiju; not a single Kaiju was worth him striking a second time.

For a moment, looking at the Kaiju corpses littering the ground, Godzilla had the illusion of a master feeling lonely.

Perhaps it was because these Kaiju were simply too weak.

Then, Godzilla continued to tear through layer after layer of fleshy walls, burrowing further inside.

But as time passed, Godzilla realized that he seemed to have—gotten lost!

Looking at the bizarre and grotesque flesh before him, Godzilla fell silent.

He hadn't reached his destination; instead, he seemed to have found the Precursors' 'armory'.

The strange, grotesque flesh growing in those 'wombs' before Godzilla, upon his assessment, were all weapons cultivated by the Precursors to be installed on Kaiju.

These weapons included various ramming horns, tails of different shapes, and some fleshy masses whose purpose was unclear at a glance.

Those strangely shaped masses of flesh should possess special abilities.

And Godzilla was not polite; any flesh he couldn't identify, he simply swallowed whole!

Although Godzilla swallowed these things, there was a high possibility that he wouldn't be able to replicate them.

After all, these things were cultivated by the Precursors through specific means, and Godzilla didn't possess such abilities, but what if?

What if they really could be replicated?

In any case, he possessed endless lifespans and had enough time to study these things.

Thus, every time Godzilla arrived at a Precursor's Flesh Factory, Godzilla had one more thing to do.

When the Precursors saw this, their teeth gnashed in hatred.

To better control the Flesh Factories, the Precursors could project their consciousness onto these factories, so they could truly 'feel' Godzilla's destruction.

But no matter how much they hated Godzilla, until reinforcements arrived, they could only hide deep underground, not daring to emerge.

And when Godzilla arrived at the fourth Flesh Factory, and after visiting its armory, he came to a wormhole, just as he was about to devour the surrounding flesh, a monster emerged from within the wormhole!

Not only the wormhole in front of Godzilla, but all the other wormholes also reacted.

The Precursors' reinforcements had arrived!

Godzilla looked at the Kaiju crawling out of the wormhole and fell silent for a moment.

The Kaiju before Godzilla was like an ancient condemned prisoner being beheaded, with its head and two forelimbs extended forward, just waiting for Godzilla to strike.

And Godzilla naturally did not disappoint this Kaiju's 'kindness'; he directly grabbed the Kaiju's head with both claws, then twisted it left, then right, and with a forceful tear, directly ripped the Kaiju's head from its body!

Godzilla pulled the Kaiju's corpse out of the wormhole, tossed it aside, and then took a huge bite out of the surrounding flesh!

For Godzilla, the activation of the wormhole was a good thing.

This was the best time to prove whether the flesh around the wormhole had a direct connection to it.

And coincidentally, there were still Kaiju that hadn't emerged from the wormhole; when Godzilla tore off a large chunk of flesh, the wormhole immediately twisted unnaturally, and in less than three seconds, the wormhole closed.

Seeing this, Godzilla's eyes lit up; it seemed he had found the right place after all!

So, after Godzilla gnawed clean the flesh around the wormhole, he immediately headed for the next Flesh Factory.

But when Godzilla emerged from the layers of fleshy walls, he found himself surrounded by rings of Kaiju.

These Kaiju were not of very high rank.

Most were Category II and Category III, with only a few Category IV and Category V Kaiju.

These Kaiju had been transferred from other Flesh Factories.

They hadn't appeared before because the Precursors knew that even if these Kaiju were sent to stop Godzilla, they wouldn't be able to delay him for even a minute.

But now, reinforcements had arrived, and even a single second was precious.

Further away, the reinforcement Kaiju that had already emerged from the wormholes were running towards this location.

And those Kaiju were all Category VI!

Category VII Kaiju were not so easy to deploy; it would take longer for them to arrive.

But would Godzilla give the Precursors time?

Seeing the Kaiju surrounding him, Godzilla couldn't be bothered to fight them.

With a thought, a blue light emanated from his body.

However, this time, unlike before, the blue light extended from his spine all the way to his tail, to the very tip!

Then, two Atomic Breaths were unleashed from Godzilla's mouth and tail, sweeping in a fan shape across his front and back!

In just a single encounter, all the Kaiju around Godzilla were severed by the Atomic Breath!

Even the Category VI Kaiju supporting from further away were affected.

Except for a few lucky Kaiju, all the others died!

This scene directly terrified the surviving Kaiju.

After a brief pause, those Kaiju fled without looking back!

Although it was just one skirmish, all the Precursors came to the same conclusion.

They couldn't win!
