Chapter 42: Godzilla’s Fury

Omega—Alpha—Godzilla suddenly thought, since Cage could use time resets to train and avoid unwanted futures, then Omega would only be more familiar with this!

Although Omega itself cannot freely use this power, when it is in danger, it only needs one Alpha to die.

This is Omega's last resort!

And it was precisely this safeguard that made Godzilla feel not only angry but also tricky.

First, he cannot kill an Alpha; second, he must ensure that Cage, this unstable factor, stays alive.

Finally, he must prevent an Alpha from committing suicide before killing Omega.

“—”

Haha~

Godzilla narrowed his Eyes, looked in Omega’s direction, and a ferocious smile slowly spread across his face.

Damn it, I'm not playing with you guys anymore.

Take care of Cage? Don't kill an Alpha?

I'm not a babysitter, nor am I a restrained beast.

Godzilla decided to play a new game with Omega.

A shooting game.

Except the range of this shooting game is a bit long!

Godzilla's body slowly lit up, and the intense heat caused the surrounding seawater to evaporate violently.

In a cloud of steam, Godzilla aimed at the perceived location and directly fired his Atomic Breath!

Too far?

His Atomic Breath has an even longer range!

The Earth is round?

Neither the ocean nor the rock layers can block his Atomic Breath.

His Atomic Breath will penetrate everything until it hits its target.

Can't hit it?

It's okay, just consider it practice for accuracy.

Ultimately, Godzilla wanted to obtain Omega's corpse, essentially to find genes from Omega's special abilities that would allow Godzilla to better control his own abilities.

But Omega was not absolutely essential.

Without Omega, Godzilla could simply go back to sleep for thousands or tens of thousands of years to master his own abilities.

Even if he didn't get Omega, Godzilla wouldn't suffer any loss.

Therefore, today, it's either you die, or you die!

A brilliant and deadly blue beam erupted from Godzilla's mouth, shooting into the vast ocean ahead.

The seawater was parted, and in that instant, countless amounts of seawater evaporated.

The Atomic Breath crossed tens or hundreds of kilometers in a flash and was still flying forward at an extremely high speed.

—Where Omega was located.

Omega was hiding in the water, surrounded by countless Alien creatures, with such strict protective measures that not even a mosquito could fly in.

But just now.

A huge monster ignored their attacks and forcibly dug out Omega, who was submerged underground.

Before this, they were not unaware of Godzilla’s existence.

After all, Godzilla had disrupted their traps for humans on the battlefield several times.

But they never expected that Godzilla would know Omega’s location and almost kill Omega!

Even though Omega itself didn't have much intelligence, it still had a bad feeling.

More like a terminal controlling all Alien creatures than a Creature, Omega possessed powerful abilities.

But no matter how powerful Omega's abilities were, it couldn't escape the fact that it had no combat power itself.

Last time, in a moment of crisis, it reset time by having the Alphas kill each other.

But this is not a long-term solution.

Now, the most important thing for Omega is to change its location!

Even if it was confident that it could protect itself if Godzilla came again.

The problem was, last time Godzilla found it, there was a human attached to his tail.

A human who had stolen Alpha's blood!

Its location was known by that human whose memories were unaffected by time resets.

It could already envision countless missiles flying towards it.

It must change its location!

Underground.

Hundreds of Alien creatures waved their tentacles, digging through the deep underground soil.

Even hard rock became as fragile as plastic under the tentacles of these Alien creatures.

As chunks of shattered rock and soil were dug out, they were carried away by nearby Alien creatures.

When digging underground tunnels, even if an Alien Creature's tentacles wore out and became unusable, there were countless replacements, and they could be said to be digging the tunnel without a moment's pause.

Everything seemed so orderly.

And Omega, being dragged by dozens of Alien creatures, was moving through the tunnel.

Thanks to their relentless efforts, Omega's current location was already quite far from its original spot.

Because of this, Omega's uneasy feeling had also subsided.

Now, no one knew its location; it was safe!

Just as Omega was thinking this, a wave of heat suddenly struck from behind.

Although Omega had no Eyes and could not perceive the outside world.

But that doesn't mean Omega had no other means to determine its surroundings.

Besides sight, Omega had many other senses, not to mention it could see through the vision of other Alien creatures.

About a hundred meters behind Omega, just now, that place was attacked by some unknown assault.

The Alien creatures hit by that unknown attack instantly turned to dust.

And around the attack, countless rocks and soil turned into lava!

Omega “saw” a blue beam of light.

This terrifying beam prevented the Alien creatures at the other end from passing through.

Like a destructive flame, any existence that dared to touch it would be annihilated.

Helpless, Omega could only order its subordinates to continue digging, to come from above or below the blue beam.

As for itself, it made its subordinates speed up the digging.

Only this time, it wasn't moving in a straight line!

Although it didn't know what that attack was, it was only a hundred meters away, just a hundred meters, and that attack would have landed on it!

At this moment, Omega's panic was no less than when Godzilla dug it out last time.

Moreover, its intuition told it that this blue beam might be coming for it!

So, Omega began an “S” shaped movement underground.

It was also fortunate that Omega's subordinates dug quickly, otherwise Omega would not have been able to perform such complex maneuvers underground.

That terrifying attack lasted for more than ten seconds before disappearing.

And Omega, seeing this scene through the Eyes of its subordinates, felt no joy at all.

Because it knew that the next attack might be coming!

Just as Omega guessed.

The next Atomic Breath appeared again, only this time it floated directly above Omega.

It didn't even burn a lava tunnel underground; instead, it drew a long trace in the air.
