Chapter 51: The Strange Shape
In the deep sea of the Pacific Ocean, a magnificent giant city was taking shape!
Because Godzilla’s size was not small, and was still slowly growing over time, the buildings within the giant city were all extremely massive.
At least, Godzilla could walk through them without feeling crowded.
Godzilla watched the "Engineers" moving huge rocks and cutting stones back and forth, and nodded.
These guys were truly capable.
Godzilla arrived at the center of this giant city, in front of an abyssal-eye-like sinkhole.
Inside this hole was where the "Monster Factory" was located.
Now, the Monster Factory’s size had further increased, becoming a colossal entity with a diameter of ten thousand meters!
Such a massive Monster Factory could produce a considerable number of Creatures every day.
Of course, this referred to the existence of "Engineers".
Besides the "Engineers", Godzilla also had the Monster Factory produce "Watchers", which were larger in size and more suitable for combat.
These Watchers resembled the thing in appearance, but were larger, reaching a height of five meters.
The Watchers roamed the Monster Factory and the giant city above, guarding against any invading enemies!
In addition to the Watchers, the Monster Factory also began manufacturing large Creatures.
However, due to the immense energy required for large Creatures, only a rough outline had been formed so far.
Just as Godzilla was strolling through this unfinished giant city as usual, his body stiffened.
Just now, he had confirmed the coordinates of another world!
Moreover, it was the coordinates of a very special world.
the thing!
A horror movie.
When Godzilla first watched this movie, it took him a long time to recover.
Especially the Alien creatures within it; their terrifying abilities didn't leave much of a deep impression on Godzilla, but the various twisted and devoured limbs were not friendly to a child!
This movie mainly tells the story of a Norwegian camp in Antarctica discovering an Alien creatures spaceship, and then bringing back a block of ice containing an Alien creatures.
And they, completely ignorant of this Alien creatures, actually intended to extract the Creature from within!
The result, as expected, was the release of a demon that devoured everything!
Initially, they had only chiseled a small hole in the giant block of ice.
But it was this small hole that awakened the Alien creatures within the ice.
And with the awakening of the Alien creatures, a mysterious and unknown terrifying virus began to spread through the camp.
Infected by this virus—no, it shouldn’t be called a virus.
What was frozen in the ice was, in fact, a terrifying Creature capable of invading living organisms, then mimicking their cells, and replacing them!
This Creature’s vitality was extremely tenacious; even low temperatures could not kill it, and when encountering danger, it could abandon most of its body, leaving only a small portion to survive.
The only way to deal with them was to burn them all completely!
And the spaceship that crashed in Antarctica was actually invaded by those unknown Creatures, forced to land in Antarctica and freeze itself, hoping to survive in this manner.
Unfortunately, during the long freezing period, even extreme low temperatures could not prevent those Creatures from infecting living organisms.
Godzilla was still very interested in this peculiar Creature.
Because his G-cells themselves also had considerable corrosiveness.
Even a single drop of blood, after devouring enough energy, could grow into another Godzilla.
However, Godzilla usually suppressed this ability, so the spilled blood or other body tissues, although they would proliferate, would not grow into a second Godzilla.
And the infection ability of that other Creature, no matter what kind of existence it was, was an extremely terrifying ability.
One wrong move and one's inner self could change, making it impossible to know how to resist.
But Godzilla did not immediately go to the thing world.
The reason was that he wasn't completely confident he wouldn't be infected by those Creatures.
How embarrassing would it be if such a large Godzilla were to be defeated in such a small world!
However, there was a way.
Those Creatures did not have much resistance when facing fire.
Therefore, Godzilla could completely raise his body temperature to resist this infection.
Indeed, Godzilla felt that his surface temperature of several hundred degrees was a bit low.
At the very least, he needed to raise it to over a thousand degrees!
And the best way to increase body temperature was to inject the energy from the Fusion Reactor into his body.
However, doing so could easily cause damage to the body, so this ability still needed to be properly trained.
Who knows, there might be other unexpected surprises in the future?
Thus, there was more steam around Godzilla.
During training, when injecting energy throughout his body, Godzilla found that his movements became a bit more agile, and his strength also seemed to increase.
It was like a robot in a movie overloading as energy was infused throughout its body.
This was a pleasant surprise for Godzilla.
It meant he had gained another trump card.
After half a month of arduous training, Godzilla finally mastered the overload mode, able to enter it with a single thought.
And he could maintain the overload mode for a long time without using his Atomic Breath.
If he used his Atomic Breath, the duration of the overload mode would decrease depending on the energy.
With the overload mode, Godzilla finally had the courage to go to the thing world.
He wanted to see how those guys would infect him at temperatures over a thousand degrees!
Did they really think his body temperature was a joke?
Since the thing world, apart from those miraculous infectious monsters, had no other existences to worry about.
Therefore, Godzilla did not adjust the穿越 time through his newly acquired ability.
Instead, he directly arrived at the time point between the end of the thing prequel and the beginning of the thing.
In the thing prequel, all infected people were cleanly burned, but in the end, a dog’s escape made the survivors realize that the infected Creatures had not been completely wiped out.
Thus, this led to the opening scene of the thing, with a helicopter chasing and shooting at the dog.
And if one were to look closely at that dog, they would find it very strange.
Its peculiar gait and its actions of jumping on strangers and licking their faces all made people uncomfortable.
However, Godzilla did not plan to find human settlements first; instead, he wanted to see if he could find the crashed Alien creatures spaceship.
To be honest, he had never seen an Alien creatures spaceship before, despite being so old.
