Chapter 52: Dismantling the Spaceship

"—"

Godzilla was speechless.

He realized he had forgotten something very important.

He only remembered how strange and terrifying those infected Creatures were, forgetting the location where the story took place.

It was Antarctica, a Land of ice and snow, where the permafrost was incredibly thick!

Godzilla, a massive heat source constantly radiating heat, would surely melt a hole with every step he took in such a place, wouldn't he?

In fact, Godzilla wouldn't even need to walk; just standing there would melt the solid ice that had been frozen for countless years around him, and then Godzilla would swim in the melted water?

Since arriving in this world, the sizzling sound had been constant.

The solid ice beneath Godzilla's feet began to melt under the extremely high temperature, and the already melted water, upon contact with Godzilla's skin, made a sound like clear water falling onto a red-hot iron sheet.

The high temperature melting the solid ice made it difficult for Godzilla to even lift his legs.

This put Godzilla in an awkward situation.

To be honest, he didn't want to suppress his body temperature.

Although Antarctica currently seemed safe on the surface, with the alien species capable of infecting life forms only just emerging.

But who knew if this was humanity's first contact? What if those Creatures had already been active outside before this?

Godzilla didn't want to be caught off guard like that.

Until he was certain that his G-cells could resist, or even kill, those infected Creatures.

Godzilla had no intention of exposing himself to danger.

Godzilla didn't want to be counter-killed by an entity he could easily destroy, simply because he underestimated it.

That would make him a disgrace to all Godzillas, just like that lizard "Zilla."

So, Godzilla changed his strategy.

Instead of walking on Land, he began to tunnel under the solid ice!

With the Fusion Reactor within Godzilla's body providing a continuous supply of heat, the ice melted quickly, and moving under the solid ice was actually faster than trying to walk on top of it!

And Godzilla's direction was precisely towards the spaceship!

As soon as he discovered this world, Godzilla had thoroughly investigated it.

After spending a lot of time and energy, Godzilla finally pinpointed the spaceship's location.

Coupled with his increasingly refined control over the power of space-time, Godzilla could now roughly determine the landing spot.

Therefore, although Godzilla couldn't Land directly on the spaceship, his current position wasn't far from it.

Not long after, Godzilla found a circular spaceship buried beneath the ice ahead.

He wondered what those aliens were thinking, building a spaceship in a circular shape; it didn't look good at all.

Godzilla didn't detect any life signs within the spaceship; it seemed the aliens inside were all dead.

Of course, it was also possible that a very few aliens were in hibernation.

Godzilla didn't immediately break open the spaceship's hull, but instead swam around it once, thawing the spaceship out of the ice.

Then, Godzilla applied the techniques he had honed by disassembling the Engineer's spaceship, tearing open a section of this spaceship.

Of course, Godzilla couldn't guarantee that these experiences would directly apply to this spaceship.

However, the good news was that when Godzilla violently dismantled the spaceship, there were no explosions.

It seemed Godzilla hadn't hit any critical components.

Of course, it was also possible that after so many years, the energy had been depleted, so there would naturally be no explosion.

After tearing open a corner, Godzilla shook the spaceship, and no flesh or blood tissue fell out of the opening.

So Godzilla continued to dismantle this enormous spaceship.

Again and again.

Before long, the entire spaceship was torn apart by Godzilla into twisted pieces of metal.

A perfectly good spaceship was reduced to something like a delicate model violently torn apart by a naughty child, impossible to reassemble.

And Godzilla showed no remorse for this; he'd do it again next time!

Although the spaceship was now unrecognizable, Godzilla did gain something.

Among the wreckage of the spaceship, Godzilla found some hibernation pods and some cultivation tanks.

Inside the hibernation pods were some Creatures, at least two meters tall, with multiple tentacles and large heads, suspected to be aliens, in hibernation.

The reason for saying 'suspected' was that Godzilla couldn't be sure whether the Creatures in the hibernation pods had been infected.

As for the Creatures in the cultivation tanks, they were immediately obvious.

Submerged within them were twisted, grotesque, and repulsive anomalous Creatures.

From a glimpse of these Creatures, one could even discern certain limbs from the aliens hibernating in the hibernation pods.

These, it seemed, were the infected aliens.

It appeared that after discovering their own kind were infected, these aliens quickly found the infected individuals, captured them, and even used them for research!

But what they hadn't expected was that the scope and speed of the infection far exceeded their imagination!

From the piled-up hibernation pods and cultivation tanks, Godzilla picked up a cultivation tank with his claw.

Godzilla looked left and right, searching for a suitable location.

Preferably a place where the alien infection could not escape.

But all around was frozen Land, and the only alien spaceship had been dismantled by Godzilla himself!

Godzilla then looked at his tail, and a thought flashed through his mind.

He coiled his tail into a circle, placed the cultivation tank within the circle formed by his tail, and then smashed it with the spaceship's wreckage!

Crack~

After the cultivation tank shattered, the Creature inside flowed out with the yellow liquid!

In Godzilla's eyes, the grotesque Creature in the cultivation tank seemed to be dead, completely motionless.

However, Godzilla did not let down his guard at all; he even had his Atomic Breath ready, capable of incinerating this grotesque piece of flesh into ashes at any moment!

As time passed, possibly a few minutes or a few hours.

This piece of flesh still showed no movement, as if it were truly dead.

And Godzilla had lost all patience.

Never mind, Godzilla had originally wanted to select an alien infected Creature with sufficient vitality for his experiment.

Godzilla suspended one claw above the piece of flesh, and with a thought, his entire claw slowly cracked open, and crimson blood flowed out, pouring onto this piece of flesh!

Since he didn't know if his G-cells could kill the alien infected Creatures, why not just experiment?

PS: These past few days, I've gradually transitioned from a headache and a swollen head to dizziness and a swollen head, then to a heavy head and light feet.

It's made my brain very confused.

I even wrote the last chapter incorrectly.

It clearly stated that I had seen the alien spaceship, but I wrote that I hadn't seen it. I just realized this and have corrected it.
