Chapter 53: Experiment
"Hiss~"
As Godzilla's blood poured onto that piece of meat, something unexpected happened.
After the meat touched Godzilla's blood, it was as if it had been doused with lava, and it immediately sprang up.
It sprang up dozens of meters high!
Then, like a grasshopper, this piece of meat bounced several times in a row, actually leaping out of the area Godzilla had cordoned off, then burrowing into the snowfield and disappearing into the vast whiteness.
The entire process took less than three seconds, leaving Godzilla stunned.
Although he had long known that these Creatures were not viruses, but higher life forms with their own intelligence.
But playing dead in front of him, and even deceiving him, was something Godzilla hadn't expected.
Fortunately, Godzilla was cautious and never directly touched any part of these Creatures with his body throughout the process.
But then again, if a Creature from a randomly selected culture tank was still alive, what about the others?
Godzilla looked at the dozen or so cylindrical creations soaking in ice water not far away, lost in thought.
However, that matter could wait; what was more important now was that this escaping Creature could not be let go!
Unless he could confirm under his supervision that G-cells had killed and then devoured all the Alien creatures, Godzilla would not be at ease.
Therefore, the Alien creatures that had escaped into the glacier must be destroyed!
The Atomic Breath, which had long been ready, was instantly released, and the Alien creatures, which had just burrowed into the ice layer not long ago and hadn't jumped far, instantly evaporated, leaving not even a trace!
It had been dormant for an unknown period, and upon waking, it found an extremely terrifying Creature staring motionlessly down at it.
The terrifying Creature's oppressive presence, which rendered it immobile merely by standing there without any aggressive actions, forced it to play dead.
But not long after, a mass of several-hundred-degree liquid came crashing down on it, almost scalding it to death.
If it weren't for the stronger physique of the Creature it was mimicking, it might have been cooked through on the spot.
Perhaps until its death, it still wouldn't know how it died.
After eliminating one potential future problem, Godzilla knew that if these Creatures were in an open environment, they would escape, which was unacceptable.
So Godzilla focused his attention on the spaceship wreckage.
Godzilla casually grabbed a few pieces of wreckage, and under the high temperature of Godzilla's claws, the spaceship debris he held began to turn red and soften.
Seeing this, a hint of a smile flashed in Godzilla's eyes.
Godzilla swept all the wreckage together with his tail and then began to "mold clay."
However, this "clay" was a bit hard.
Within a few minutes, under high temperature and Godzilla's terrifying immense strength, a square, rather ugly metal box was created!
The reason it was called a box was because this thing was composed of two parts.
One looked like a bowl, and the other was a lid; put together, wasn't it a box?
However, both the "bowl" and the lid were very ugly.
Godzilla again randomly selected one from the culture tanks and threw it into the "bowl," then crushed it.
Subsequently, Godzilla likewise sprinkled his blood into the "bowl."
However, this time, as Godzilla sprinkled the blood into it, he quickly covered it with the lid!
As the lid was closed, Godzilla immediately felt a muffled thud and a vibrating sensation from the lid.
It seemed that the infected Creature in this culture tank was not dead either.
He wondered whether it was the good cultivation of those Alien creatures or the tenacious vitality of the infected Creatures; after so many years, they were still alive.
And, they seemed to be full of vigor.
If it weren't for the fact that this "box," though ugly, actually used most of the spaceship's materials and had extremely strong defenses, it might have really torn through the metal and escaped.
Inside the box, there was a continuous "hissing" sound; that was the monster howling.
Upon encountering Godzilla's blood, the reactions of these monsters were surprisingly consistent; they all immediately jumped up.
Godzilla was not surprised by this, as he knew his blood was very hot.
But high temperature alone was not enough to kill those monsters!
Therefore, what followed was the change Godzilla was looking forward to!
Not long after, Godzilla no longer felt the box vibrating, which didn't mean the infected Creatures had given up resistance; they were merely wisely conserving their strength, hoping to find a better opportunity to escape.
At the same time, they also became curious about the other substance inside the box, which was Godzilla's blood, and instinctively mimicked it upon contact.
However, their ability to survive, which they had relied on for the rest of their lives, seemed to lose its effect under this substance.
It wasn't that it lost its effect, but rather that they found the difficulty of mimicry to be very high, and furthermore, this cell was extremely aggressive, and even possessed a devouring nature that made them feel a sense of dread!
They had encountered Creatures that were difficult to mimic before, but cells with such immense aggressiveness and devouring nature were something they had never seen.
Just a momentary contact resulted in thirty percent of its body tissue becoming necrotic, then being devoured, becoming energy for its growth.
However, fortunately, they were already able to mimic the structure of this cell, and as long as they made contact with them, they could devour them all and take their place!
But when they began to mimic, they discovered that this Creature was simply too perfect, almost like a "god."
Their power alone seemed insufficient to fully replicate the abilities of this cell; if it was about discharging electricity, they could mimic the structure, but releasing nuclear energy—that was too complex.
Ultimately, these infected Creatures only mimicked some pseudo-cells, attempting to pass off as genuine.
But how could G-cells be deceived by that?
Then, as expected, they were all devoured by the G-cells.
At this point, the remaining infected Creatures could only huddle in a corner, trembling.
They were engulfed in immense fear within this dark and confined space.
Of course, they weren't just hiding in the corner waiting to die; they also continuously attacked the box, hoping to break through the iron wall and escape.
And didn't Godzilla think of this?
The iron wall of this box was very, very thick.
Its strength alone was insufficient to break through it.
Moreover, the space inside this box was also very confined.
Its length, width, and height were all less than three meters!
When Godzilla made it, he was extremely careful, fearing that if the space became larger, the infected Creatures would have a place to hide.
In the confined space, as G-cells continuously proliferated, they would eventually engulf all the infected Creature's tissues, and only then would Godzilla's objective truly be achieved.
