Chapter 55: Brawl

The moment the G-cells that had devoured the infected Creatures were retracted, Godzilla keenly felt a momentary surge within His cells.

Then, the G-cells within His body analyzed the changes in the retracted cells and began to replicate.

However, this would be a long process.

Godzilla first stopped the replication of cells within His body, because He had more important things to do!

Although His goal had been achieved, these dangerous infected Creatures could not be left behind!

Therefore, Godzilla used His Atomic Breath to incinerate all the infected Creatures that were still hibernating.

Then, He swam towards the direction where He sensed more infected Creatures.

After devouring an infected Creature, Godzilla was able to pinpoint its Individual location, even if it was just a general direction, it was enough.

Fortunately, the infected Creatures had only recently awakened and were still in Antarctica. They had not spread, with only three to five Individuals, making them easy to deal with.

In fact, if the humans were more capable, even if Godzilla didn't intervene, they could still kill these three to five infected Creatures if they tried hard enough.

However, Godzilla would not place His hopes on those humans. Compared to them suddenly acting like normal people, it was more likely that pigs would fly.

Luckily, the spaceship was not too far from where the infected Creatures appeared, and Godzilla would arrive shortly, so He was not in a hurry.

After all, this was Antarctica, and there weren't many Creatures for the infected Creatures to spread to.

And even if it were in a densely populated City, it wouldn't matter to Godzilla; it would just be a matter of one Atomic Breath.

Godzilla wasn't in a hurry, but some people were so anxious they wanted to burn down the entire camp!

And this wasn't a figure of speech; they genuinely wanted to do it!

The Creatures from the alien spaceship were simply too terrifying.

Just breaking out of the ice caused casualties, and It carried an unknown virus, infecting many people in the camp.

Every infected person twisted into a grotesque monster of flesh and blood.

And facing these monsters, ordinary firearms were no longer a threat.

Only by using flamethrowers to burn them all to ashes could they be effectively killed.

Therefore, in their fear, some people even genuinely planned to confine everyone in the camp and then burn everyone, including themselves, to death!

But unfortunately, neither the other survivors nor the infected Creatures would grant his wish.

His plan was ultimately doomed to fail.

Currently, half of the people in the entire camp had already died.

Some were infected, while others were killed by their companions in confusion.

The remaining people, having lost all trust, were all wary of each other, looking for each other's weaknesses to kill them!

And just then, the ground beneath their feet suddenly vibrated.

What's going on?

Could it be an earthquake?

If it was an earthquake, they might all die here if things went wrong.

Whether falling into a cracked ice crevice or for other reasons, if they didn't get help, they would all die.

Compared to the panicked humans, the infected Creatures reacted first.

After all, humans still had to worry about the consequences of an earthquake, while for them, it was much simpler.

So what if there was an earthquake? At most, they would be frozen in ice for another tens of thousands of years!

Therefore, tendrils of flesh and blood burst from their chests, tearing through their flesh and instantly shooting towards the nearest person.

Fortunately, the ground's vibration caused them to lose their footing, and thus, these flesh and blood tendrils did not hit their targets.

Having narrowly escaped a fatal attack, the people, who hadn't even had a chance to breathe a sigh of relief, saw the tendrils attacking again.

They quickly used their guns and flamethrowers to retaliate.

And those flesh and blood monsters were not to be trifled with.

They transformed into monstrous forms that were extremely distorted but also more lethal, then agilely dodged most of the bullets and flamethrower jets, attacking the humans.

Facing this attack.

They quickly turned their muzzles and aimed again.

It proved that even the most intimidating-looking monsters were still so fragile when faced with firearms!

Those flesh and blood monsters were riddled with bullet holes under the gunfire.

But even so, the monsters, riddled like sieves by gunfire, still steadfastly attacked the few remaining living humans.

Conversely, the unlucky monster hit by a flamethrower caught fire and was burned to ashes amidst its screams!

Just as the person holding the flamethrower felt a surge of confidence, preparing to burn the other monsters to death in one go, he heard a shout from beside him.

The voice sounded like it was telling him to — dodge?

Before the person could react, he felt a sharp pain in his chest.

He stared blankly down; his chest had been torn open by a tentacle, leaving a large hole. His internal organs and other things were all pulled out by the tentacle as it retracted.

With such severe injuries, it was naturally impossible to survive.

His body fell stiffly onto the snow.

The other few people quickly ran to the corpse.

It wasn't because their bond was strong, but because this was the only flamethrower left.

It couldn't be damaged, and it had to be in their hands.

But those monsters wouldn't just watch these few surviving humans get the flamethrower, so they attacked frantically, throwing the humans into a chaotic scramble.

Fortunately, their weapons had decent firepower, and they managed to suppress the monsters for a short time.

But as time went on, their ammunition would eventually run out, and by then, the scales of victory would no longer be on their side.

And at this very moment, the ice field before them suddenly exploded!

Rumble!!!

A colossal head emerged from the ice field.

At this moment, both humans and infected Creatures stopped attacking, looking in shock at this gigantic Creature.

The moment this gigantic Creature appeared, it immediately became the focus of everyone's attention; it was hard to be low-key.

After all, they had never truly seen a Creature whose head alone was larger than a house!

Especially the humans, they couldn't even imagine that such a colossal Creature truly existed in this world.

Well, even aliens had appeared.

They were even fighting aliens, so having a giant monster shouldn't be strange — right?

Wait, what is this monster doing?
