Chapter 69: Tyrant

Not only were the Hunters stunned, but Hank himself was also bewildered.

Although Hank knew the scales on his body had strong defenses, he never expected them to be so powerful that even this monster, which clearly wasn't simple, couldn't break through them.

The Hunter's simple intelligence couldn't comprehend what had happened.

Therefore, the Hunter looked at its broken claws, then at Hank, its small head filled with great confusion.

The Hunter's brain couldn't process such a complex situation.

However, while the Hunter was stunned, Hank was not.

Hank countered with a punch to the Hunter's head, shattering it.

Red and white matter spilled out.

Ignoring the headless Hunter lying on the ground, Hank shook his hand, flicking off the filth.

His nose twitched, catching the scent of other Hunters in the air.

Hank chose the direction of the nearest Hunter and rushed towards it.

Splat~

With the sound of flesh and bone being cleaved, the last Hunter also died by Hank's hand.

And next, it was — whoosh, whoosh, whoosh~

The sound of helicopters had already been audible in the vicinity while Hank was hunting those Hunters.

The only reason those helicopters hadn't pinpointed Hank's location yet was purely because the surrounding forest was too dense.

But since they already knew Hank was hunting Hunters, they could still determine his general location.

Hank didn't know why the rockets from the helicopters hadn't been fired at him yet, but he knew that since those helicopters had missed such a good opportunity, he would return the favor!

Hank, wielding a large axe, leaped through the trees; he had already determined the helicopters' positions long ago, and now, he was rapidly approaching them!

As Hank drew closer, the equipment on the helicopters detected his presence, but they still didn't attack.

Then, one of the helicopters lowered a huge crate.

The crate seemed very heavy; as it crashed into the forest, the trees groaned under the weight.

After dropping the crate, these helicopters began to ascend, then turned, seemingly intending to return.

The next second, a giant axe spun rapidly towards one of the helicopters, precisely hitting the pilot's seat.

And this helicopter, having lost its pilot, swayed and plummeted towards the ground.

The incident with this helicopter seemed to scare the other two; the pilots panicked instantly, maneuvering their helicopters to gain altitude as quickly as possible.

Just then, before the helicopter struck by the large axe had even crashed, a dark shadow lunged towards another helicopter.

This startled the person, as in the darkness, the shadow was like a demon crawling out of hell, making him shiver with cold.

And the gaze of that shadowy figure's glowing blood-red "Eyes" made him unable to move even a single finger.

Then, as expected, the people inside this helicopter were killed by Hank, who had jumped aboard.

Subsequently, Hank ignored the intense firepower of the last helicopter and destroyed it.

Thus, all three helicopters that had been following Hank crashed, not a single one remaining.

Hank walked towards the first crashed helicopter; he still needed to retrieve his axe.

Moreover, he wanted to see if there was anything valuable in the helicopter's wreckage.

A few minutes later, Hank found the helicopter and his axe.

However, Hank only found one corpse in this helicopter; it seemed the people in the co-pilot's seat and in the back were still alive.

Hank didn't follow the tracks to hunt those people; after all, they were just ordinary people, nothing to worry about.

"Umbrella Corporation? This company still exists!?"

From the helicopter, Hank saw the Umbrella Corporation's emblem, a wave of surprise and doubt washing over him.

He had heard of a large company like Umbrella Corporation.

But today, he learned another side of Umbrella Corporation.

With those Hunters, plus their ability to find him, his intuition told Hank that this company had a big problem.

But Hank had no intention of continuing to seek the truth.

He wasn't that curious, and besides, he couldn't fight an entire company with just his strength.

However, what worried Hank now was that he had likely been targeted by Umbrella Corporation.

Although he didn't want to provoke Umbrella Corporation, Umbrella Corporation clearly didn't want to let him go!

This gave Hank a headache.

Hank held his head and thought for several minutes before realizing that only by hurting Umbrella Corporation would they stop bothering him.

Although he was in the dense forest, Hank didn't know his exact bearings, but his sense of direction was excellent; he remembered the way out, and that was enough.

But just as Hank took two steps, he stopped.

Because he was surrounded again.

Hank looked at three Tyrants, each two meters tall, with large bald heads and visible signs of modification all over their bodies, and tightly gripped the large axe in his hand.

His intuition told him that these three guys would not be easy to deal with!

"Roar!"

As killing machines, Tyrants had no habit of wasting words with enemies.

After spotting Hank and surrounding him, the three Tyrants raised their weapons, aimed at Hank, and pulled the triggers.

Instantly, a storm of metal enveloped Hank.

The high-rate-of-fire Gatling guns furiously spewed bullets; the Tyrants didn't release the triggers after pulling them until they ran out of ammunition in their machine guns!

By then, the ground around the three Tyrants was covered in spent casings.

And around Hank, too, the ground was full of deformed bullet heads.

"Hiss~"

Hank gasped.

The bullets hitting him didn't break his scales, but they hurt.

The Tyrants' attack was too sudden, leaving him no time to prepare mentally.

Fortunately, his defense was incredibly high; those bullets didn't truly injure him.

But the next second, his expression changed.

Because he saw those three guys, after running out of bullets, dismounting their weapons and raising the rocket launchers strapped to their backs!

Hank forcefully flung the large axe in his hand towards one Tyrant and lunged towards another.

The spinning axe instantly reached the Tyrant's face; it was too late for the Tyrant to dodge, so it could only use the rocket launcher in its hand to block.

The rocket launcher was instantly split in half, and the axe, without losing momentum, cleaved into the Tyrant's chest, deeply embedding itself in its chest and sending it flying.

Meanwhile, before Hank could even reach the other Tyrant, that Tyrant had already fired a rocket.
