Chapter 70: Recycling

Hank quickly dodged to the side, and in the nick of time, the rocket flew past his chest.

Hank could even feel the heat of the rocket as it flew by him.

After dodging the rocket, Hank, without slowing down, pounced on the Tyrant, knocking him down.

While rolling, Hank's feet landed on the Tyrant's shoulders, and his claws latched onto the Tyrant's chin.

Having dealt with an Executioner before, Hank knew that the best way to deal with these obviously modified Creatures was to rip their heads off!

So, Hank's arm muscles bulged, and he roared, his sharp claws even digging into the Tyrant's chin.

Accompanied by a chilling sound of muscle and bone shattering, the Tyrant's head was torn off by Hank!

Before Hank could even discard the Tyrant's head, which still had a few vertebrae attached, an explosion erupted on his chest.

The Tyrant that Hank hadn't attacked had already fired his rocket launcher, hitting Hank accurately.

Hank's body was sent flying backward by the explosion.

The Tyrant dropped the empty rocket launcher in his hand and strode towards Hank.

On the other side, the Tyrant that had been struck by Hank's great axe also pulled the axe from his chest and, dragging the axe, similarly walked towards Hank.

In the firelight, Hank stood up.

He looked at the burning marks on his chest, his face twitching.

The rocket had blasted away a section of the scales on his chest, revealing the relatively vulnerable skin underneath.

At this moment, this skin still bore the marks of scorching.

Although injured, Hank also breathed a sigh of relief.

At the very least, he knew how strong his current defense was.

Looking at the Tyrant charging towards him, Hank grinned and rushed towards the Tyrant that had injured him.

Leveraging his greater agility, Hank quickly circled behind that Tyrant, and before he could turn around, Hank's claws had already reached his head.

Without any surprise, this Tyrant's head was also torn off by Hank.

As the Tyrant's body fell limply, only one Tyrant remained on the field.

"Roar!"

Even though he was the only one left, this Tyrant showed no fear.

He charged at Hank, raising the great axe in his hand and bringing it down on Hank.

Hank slightly dodged to the side.

"Big guy, your axe is mine."

Hank stepped on the axe that had struck the ground, and with his other foot, he kicked the Tyrant in the chest, sending him flying several meters away.

The axe in his hand naturally flew out.

Hank pulled the great axe from the ground, then walked to the Tyrant who was lying on the ground and had just gotten up, expressionlessly raising the great axe and sweeping it horizontally.

Crack~

The great axe deeply cut into the Tyrant's waist, almost severing his body in half.

If it weren't for the Tyrant's sturdy spine, an ordinary zombie would have been completely bisected.

"Roar!"

Hank leaned back slightly, dodging the Tyrant's large hand as he swiped at him.

The strong gust of air from the palm blew away several sparse hairs on Hank's head.

Because his entire body was covered in scales, Hank's head naturally didn't escape this fate.

But currently, Hank's head wasn't yet fully covered in scales, so some hair still remained.

However, as more and more scales grew, this hair could fall out at any time.

But for now, this hair was one of the few symbols of his humanity.

Therefore, Hank cherished his hair very much.

Seeing that he had lost a few more hairs, Hank was enraged!

He kicked the Tyrant away, and before he could get up again, Hank came to the fallen Tyrant's side, raised the great axe, and brought it down forcefully!

With a crack~, the Tyrant's spine at his waist was completely severed!

This wasn't all; after bisecting the Tyrant, Hank raised the great axe again and brought it down on the Tyrant's chest!

Hank stepped on the Tyrant's shoulder, his great axe in hand continuously rising and falling.

Each time it fell, a spray of blood would splash, and the crunching sound of bones breaking would echo.

And the Tyrant under his foot, his chest was completely caved in, and all the internal organs inside his chest had been chopped to pieces by Hank.

If it were an ordinary Creature, he would have died without his internal organs; even an Executioner wouldn't be able to move.

But the Tyrant, who had another mammalian heart transplanted, could still struggle for a short time, even with such severe injuries, thanks to the blood supply from that other heart.

And Hank, seeing that the Tyrant could still move, continued to raise and lower the great axe.

He only stopped after the Tyrant fell silent.

Having brutally hacked the Tyrant to death, Hank let out a long breath.

He didn't even glance at the Tyrant's hideous face, turning and walking in the direction of leaving the forest.

He sought to first leave this forest, then find a town, then inquire about the Umbrella Corporation, preferably to find out information about the Umbrella Corporation's base.

Being targeted by this company, if he couldn't resolve this matter, he wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully.

This was also why he didn't choose to escape into the primeval forest; he didn't want to live in constant fear.

Therefore, rather than fleeing, destroying the Umbrella Corporation would bring him more peace of mind.

What Hank didn't realize was that when thinking about problems, he always subconsciously chose to resolve them through violence.

Or rather, after entering the apocalypse, had this way of thinking become the norm?

The moon set, the sun rose.

A night had passed.

At the place where Hank and the Tyrant fought, a pair of fully armed people, holding guns, nervously approached the dead Tyrants.

From the attire of these people, it could be seen that they were the survivors from those helicopters.

These people's gazes did not linger on the gruesomely dead Tyrants, but instead searched for something on the ground.

Finally, they found a few scales on the ground covered in decaying leaves.

Those were the ones Hank had lost when hit by the rocket.

They carefully collected these scales, not missing a single one.

Not long after, several helicopters flew over and picked them up.

Raccoon City.

It was still that room full of screens.

Wesker was in a very bad mood.

The mission to capture the mutated Individuals, which he originally thought would be very smooth, had encountered problems one after another.

First, the Hunters and Tyrants fought among themselves, and then the strength of those mutated Individuals far exceeded expectations, completely slaughtering all the Hunters and Tyrants!

Even with helicopters providing long-range fire support, they couldn't take down those mutated Individuals; instead, the helicopters providing fire were attacked by those mutated Individuals, and hardly any survived.

In comparison, the group that dealt with Hank probably had the most收获.

Because they obtained a few scales that Hank had dropped!

As for the others, although they had injured those Individuals, it was very difficult to recover scales or flesh.

Because those mutated Individuals were always lurking there, they had no opportunity!
