Chapter 76: Changing Direction

Although Colette had scales on many parts of her body, she didn't have them all over like Hank, who even grew a tail and a dorsal fin.

That's right, Hank's body changes hadn't stopped in the past half-month, and Colette even noticed that he seemed to have grown taller.

As for Colette, besides the scales on her hands and feet, which had turned into beast claws like Hank's, she only had some scales on her chest and cheeks.

Colette was quite satisfied with this, because she hadn't become as ugly as Hank.

And Hank, after confirming that Colette's body would not continue to change, also breathed a sigh of relief.

At least the guilt in his heart could be lessened a bit.

Hank and Colette searched for a long time before they found a building with the Umbrella Corporation's mark.

Hank, full of pent-up anger, left Colette there and single-handedly stormed the Umbrella Corporation.

After kicking open the Umbrella Corporation's main gate, Hank, wielding a large axe, went on a killing spree inside, fighting his way from the bottom floor to the top, then jumping down from the building and continuing his rampage underground.

But after a round of searching, Hank found nothing but zombies; there were only ordinary zombies inside.

Hank also searched carefully, especially underground, but still found nothing.

After repeated confirmation, he determined that this was just an ordinary company, with nothing special about it at all.

But Hank didn't lose heart.

This didn't mean he was looking in the wrong direction.

After all, it was understandable that no matter how powerful the Umbrella Corporation was, it couldn't ensure that everyone in its branch offices in every City would survive.

At most, there would only be one base in a large City or an entire country.

As long as he kept searching, he would eventually find it.

Hank ignored the zombies, which could be called mummies, crawling outside, and then went to find Colette.

Although Hank had already cleared the area where Colette was, he couldn't guarantee that Colette wouldn't wander off, so it was better for him to return early.

Then, Hank and Colette continued their journey to find the Umbrella Corporation.

However, before leaving this City, they also scavenged a lot of food from it to take with them.

They were not zombies; they needed to eat and drink.

— Godzilla, who had been secretly observing the changes in various Creatures infected with the g-virus, suddenly remembered something when he saw a g-virus infected person raid the Umbrella Corporation's building.

Why was he searching the entire world like a headless chicken for the stairway to the sun flower?

If the stairway to the sun flower really existed, then the Umbrella Corporation must have backups for research!

He could go directly to the Umbrella Corporation to find the stairway to the sun flower!

So what were 'Blade' and the 'Watchers' doing before this?

Good heavens, his single foolish order sent his subordinate monsters running themselves ragged, right?

Godzilla quickly ordered 'Blade' and the 'Watchers' to search for the Umbrella Corporation.

And those two 'Blades', under Godzilla's command, took a group of 'Watchers' towards Raccoon City.

He hadn't forgotten that the underground base in Raccoon City was the Umbrella Corporation's most important location.

Those ambitious humans were hibernating inside.

Previously, because there was nothing Godzilla wanted there, he hadn't bothered to dig out that base.

Moreover, Godzilla also wanted to see if Alice could break into the base, obtain the t-virus serum, and save the world.

Or, if Alice failed to save the world, after all humans died, these humans would awaken from hibernation, release the t-virus serum, and then take over the new world.

Godzilla was very curious how those people would build a new world.

Would they mold themselves into gods, or leaders of humanity?

Or would they directly return to a feudal era, becoming those high and mighty beings?

All of this made Godzilla extremely curious.

This made Godzilla think that if aliens really existed, perhaps they would have the same mindset as him.

They wouldn't destroy this blue planet they discovered.

Instead, they would conceal their existence, curiously observing the development of this planet, and even more curious about the owner of this planet.

Perhaps, they would send everything from this world back to their home planet, and then make a fortune from it.

It's like discovering an animal never seen before in the wild and then live-streaming it?

Godzilla could only guess, after all, he wasn't an alien.

If before he was just an observer, now, he was going to overturn this stage.

What Godzilla found regrettable was that he might not be able to see those people who woke from hibernation playing gods and ghosts.

Compared to Alice saving the world, he still preferred to see the big villain achieve his goals.

If the existence of the 'Watchers' made the Umbrella Corporation wary, then 'Blade' made the Umbrella Corporation feel fear.

Because they had no way to deal with 'Blade'.

And when 'Blade' changed direction and headed towards Raccoon City, the Red Queen had already issued an alarm.

The powerful computing Red Queen immediately calculated that Raccoon City was on the two 'Blades'' path, or rather, their destination was Raccoon City!

Upon discovering this, Wesker, who was stationed underground in Raccoon City, initially didn't believe it.

But he still trusted the Red Queen's abilities.

However, although he was scared, he wasn't overly worried.

After all, their base was deep underground; not to mention whether 'Blade' could find it, even if they did, they couldn't enter the base.

Were they going to dig out the base bit by bit?

Don't be ridiculous, those two monsters had no idea how deep their base was underground!

And compared to those two monsters, the 'Watchers' accompanying them were even more concerning.

After all, compared to 'Blade', the 'Watchers' were simply too small; there was no guarantee they wouldn't find a passage into the base and then squeeze in.

Thinking of this, Wesker quickly gave an order.

"Close all passages into the base, immediately!"

The Red Queen naturally accepted the order.

All passages leading to the base were closed.

And the 'Hive' leading to the base exploded, the entire base collapsed, and everything was buried.

Only then did Wesker breathe a sigh of relief.

All passages leading to the base in Raccoon City were collapsed, with only a few passages leading to other places remaining, but their gates were also tightly closed.

Now, even if 'Blade' and the 'Watchers' really came, they wouldn't be able to find the gate to the base.

Let alone that they didn't even know of the base's existence.
