Chinese Military Forces
Compared to Nezha, who was seriously fighting the aliens, Chen Mu was far behind. Although he now possessed strength no weaker than Nezha’s, he was really just like S.H.I.E.L.D., fishing in troubled waters. While quite a few aliens had died by his hand, there was no need for him to give it his all.
After all, it was not his country. Chen Mu had no reason to risk his life. Standing on a flying sword with flashes of lightning and rolling thunder around him, he looked incredibly imposing, but he was merely putting on a show. He was more of a spectator.
On the battlefield, Chen Mu also saw many of his compatriots bravely fighting the enemy, which left him somewhat moved. As expected of us Chinese. At a time like this, only the Chinese could step forward.
These Chinese people were incredibly powerful. Not one of them was weaker than Thor. Though Thor had relied on Thor’s Hammer to destroy two Leviathans, he had not personally killed many aliens. After seeing so many ordinary people from China who could likewise wield Thunder Force, he went down to the ground to fight the Outriders.
Since they all played with electricity, Thor was extremely curious about these people who could unleash lightning with their bare hands. He wanted to be able to cast lightning barehanded too, so he came down hoping to learn a thing or two from them. The third bit-part’s Railgun had looked pretty good earlier…
In fact, there were quite a few overseas Chinese in New York, but only Chinese people from mainland China qualified for evolution.
There were also plenty of Chinese people who had long since changed their nationality and worked in New York. Seeing their compatriots displaying such overwhelming might, many Chinese people with American citizenship came running over to seek protection.
Though they looked down on them inwardly, these people from China did not directly turn them away, but neither would they take the initiative to protect them.
Compared with people from America, Chinese people despised those who had changed their nationality even more.
After all, if he remembered correctly, China did not recognize dual nationality. Anyone who held another country’s nationality must have canceled their Chinese nationality.
Well, the price was not even expensive. The application fee was fifty, the processing fee was two hundred, for a total of exactly two hundred and fifty. If you looked down on your own motherland, then stop spouting nonsense online every day. Just spend two hundred and fifty to cancel your nationality!
Some people also said that it was their ancestors who had changed nationality. They had been born in America and held American nationality, so it was not their fault.
But had they ever considered this? Would someone who grew up in America identify with China? Would they identify with their own ethnicity?
In any case, the Life Evolution Device was controlled by the Heavenly Court organization. Those who did not have China in their hearts had no right to use it.
Want to evolve? Keep dreaming. You could have anything in your dreams.
Hearing Chen Mu’s words, Nezha put away his Fire-Tipped Spear and came to Chen Mu’s side.
One stood on Wind Fire Wheels, while the other stood on a flying sword. They looked immensely imposing.
Countless aliens had died at their hands.
Of course, neither of them had used their full strength from beginning to end. They had not even shed a drop of sweat. After all, in their hearts, they would only risk their lives for their own compatriots.
As for foreigners?
Helping you kill some aliens was already an immense favor. What more could you possibly complain about?
By now, the portal opened by the Tesseract had become enormous. Even circular aircraft from the Dark Order, with diameters reaching a thousand meters, could pass through directly.
As the Doughnut Spaceship passed through the portal, Chen Mu and Nezha remained expressionless.
"It’s over…"
Looking at the gigantic alien spaceship, Captain America on the ground wore a face full of despair. He could not imagine how humanity’s existing strength could possibly fight such advanced aliens.
"What is that?"
Just as Captain America was falling into despair, a massive cluster of tiny black dots appeared on the horizon, flying toward them at an unimaginable speed.
They were unknown aircraft with cool, futuristic designs. Their speed was beyond imagination.
Almost the instant the black dots came into view, they had already arrived above the New York battlefield.
They launched an attack on the Doughnut Spaceship in the sky. Dense volleys of magic-energy cannon fire and missiles struck the ship’s shield, sending ripples across its energy barrier.
Before long, they would surely be able to break through the shield.
"The People’s Liberation Army is here!" Long Tao Bing shouted excitedly at the sight.
Because for Chinese people, seeing the People’s Liberation Army meant seeing hope.
"These are Qing Luan Fighters! I saw them on some website before. I never expected them to be real—they really exist!"
They were Space Fighters. Though they had never publicly appeared before, rumors about Qing Luan Fighters had always circulated across China’s internet.
There had even been plenty of concept images online. Were they not exactly the same as what they were seeing now?
Seeing the Qing Luan Fighters in person filled every Chinese person present with excitement.
They also felt immensely proud.
See that? This was China’s true strength!
"Qing Luan Fighters?"
Watching the highly futuristic fighters circle the Doughnut Spaceship and continuously launch attacks, Captain America was deeply puzzled.
"This is our country’s South Heaven Gate Project. It has been circulating online for years. I never expected it to really exist!"
Long Tao Bing was extremely excited. If Qing Luan Space Fighters existed, did that not mean all the other armed forces from the South Heaven Gate Project existed as well?
As his thoughts ran wild, more than a hundred huge portals opened in the sky, and massive humanoid armors flew out one after another.
Simply put, they were enlarged Kirin Armors. Each stood over thirty meters tall, and because of their larger size, they carried even more advanced weapons and ammunition.
Naturally, as always, they carried storage spaces. Ammunition had never been a problem.
The ones that appeared were Xingtian Armors. Their cold, stern appearance was even more awe-inspiring.
"Holy shit, Xingtian Armors!"
Seeing the Xingtian Armors appear, Long Tao Bing and the others were so excited that they nearly jumped up.
What man did not dream of mechas?
Seeing mechas built by their own country appear alive before their eyes, Long Tao Bing and the others were beyond ecstatic.
"Mechas…"
Looking at the enormous group of mechas, Captain America was too stunned to speak.
Were these weapons that should exist on Earth?
Look at the other countries on Earth. America, which claimed to possess the most advanced technology, still had only the F-22 Fifth-generation fighter as the most advanced weapon in military service. Perhaps S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Quinjet was more advanced, but because of the cost, the military simply could not afford to purchase them on a large scale.
But even the Quinjet seemed to be just that. Its combat power was not particularly strong, and quite a few had been shot down by the Chitauri army.
There was no point comparing it to China’s military equipment.
Just look at the Qing Luan Fighters. They were countless times more advanced than the Quinjets.
As for the Xingtian Armors? Forget it, there was no need to say more. Were they even things that could be compared?
