Killing Approaches, Yi Xin Society

Satsui no Hado (Special, Lv1): The ultimate killing wave born from Ansatsuken. Highly destructive. Each time it kills a living being, the wave grows stronger; killing powerful enemies greatly strengthens it. At the same time, it erodes the user. (This ability cannot be leveled up through other means.)

Bai Cangshu returned from the space to the real world. He lay on the second floor of the exquisite wooden building, basking in the sun as he looked at the Satsui no Hado on his status panel.

This ability was both a hidden danger and a broad road ahead.

Energy that continuously grew stronger through nothing but slaughter was simply an ideal power system for Reincarnators.

Moreover, waves were inherently a special application of qi. The Martial Artists of the Street Fighter world cultivated qi as well, merely releasing it in the form of waves in the end.

Reincarnators were a swarm of locusts who could slaughter freely without bearing responsibility. The only concern in using Satsui no Hado was that as it grew stronger, its erosion of the user would also become increasingly severe.

In the original setting, after Akuma awakened Satsui no Hado in his youth, he was once eroded to the brink of death by it. Only after a series of changes did he ultimately overcome Satsui no Hado.

He first entered the special state known as Mad Demon, becoming completely dominated by killing intent and taking it to the extreme. Later, he transcended Satsui no Hado, fully mastered it, and entered Shin State.

But Akuma had been something akin to a chosen one in the original world setting. The many Martial Artists who practiced Ansatsuken and eventually awakened Satsui no Hado either died challenging powerful opponents, were killed after committing bloody sins, or died after being eroded by Satsui no Hado.

This ability was a double-edged sword.

"Boss Bai, Boss Bai!"

"Someone claiming to be a director of the Goryeo March Consortium just contacted me. They said they want to invest in our Paradise construction. This…"

Leaning on his cane, Lin Qinfu struggled up the stairs and carefully stopped at the doorway, though he could not suppress the delight in his voice.

The March Group was famous even on a global scale. It nearly controlled Goryeo’s economic lifeline and occupied almost a third of the global telecommunications industry. When such a behemoth contacted him, Lin Qinfu could only think it was because of Madman Bai, who was supposedly an heir of an Ancient Martial Arts Family.

Bai Cangshu did not want to waste time on such trivial matters and merely said casually,

"Mm. The eldest daughter of the March Group has some ties to me. Just name them a figure, and they’ll naturally send the money over."

"Ask for money, people, resources—whatever you need…"

Listening to Bai Cangshu, Lin Qinfu recalled some short videos he had watched recently. An ancient martial arts heir, the eldest daughter of a consortium… Tsk, Boss Bai really had good fortune!

He thought of how he had spent so many years working in a place like this just to make money, while the other man only needed to say a word for vast sums to be delivered to him.

"But…"

Lin Qinfu’s scalp went numb. The voice that had just been on the balcony suddenly sounded beside him. He turned and saw that Madman Bai had somehow appeared at his side.

An overwhelming terror surged from his tailbone like an electric current. Every hair on his body stood on end, and he instinctively shuddered and fell backward.

A hand, as though it had anticipated Lin Qinfu’s reaction, had already caught him by the collar from behind, preventing him from tumbling down the stairs.

Lin Qinfu’s mind trembled. Madman Bai had become ever more unfathomable, like a god or ghost. For a moment, he even began to doubt his earlier guess.

Could ancient martial arts really achieve something like this?

"But if you take the money and still fail to build the Paradise I want, Lin Qinfu, you know what will happen."

Madman Bai’s cold words jolted Lin Qinfu awake. He knew he had gotten carried away. Because Madman Bai had saved his life, he had begun to forget the man’s cruelty.

He immediately nodded repeatedly and withdrew respectfully. Halfway through retreating, he remembered something and forced himself to speak again.

"Boss Bai, there’s actually a problem right in front of us with building Paradise."

"According to your plans, Paradise would likely have to encompass the entire Wa State region. Such a large territory isn’t like investing in a hotel or casino. There are rather a lot of forces involved…"

Lin Qinfu stammered. Because he had lacked money before, he had never considered that Bai Cangshu would truly build Paradise on such a massive scale. That would not be a Paradise—it would be a city!

At the time, he had merely thought Madman Bai was speaking delirious nonsense. But now that the March Group had stepped in, funding was no longer an issue. He began to realize that if he still could not effectively advance the plan with such resources, this madman would probably kill him very soon.

Seeing Bai Cangshu remain silent, Lin Qinfu immediately offered his own idea.

"How about we wait for the March Group’s people to arrive? People from a major consortium like that should be shown some respect even by those large families and the Northern Myanmar government. After all, nobody wants to make enemies of money…"

Lin Qinfu’s method was certainly one possible solution, but Bai Cangshu shook his head. He did not like waiting for the parasites of various factions to start entertaining crooked thoughts within his plans.

The reason he had left East Xia and come to Northern Myanmar was… so that he could be constrained by order as little as possible, wasn’t it?

"Give me a list of Wa State’s various factions and their businesses."

"I’ll go have a chat with them later."

Lin Qinfu raised his head and looked at the cruel smile on Madman Bai’s lips. For an instant, he vaguely saw a trace of purple around the other man’s body, but it vanished in the next moment.

Fear filled his heart. He nodded and scrambled down the stairs on all fours.

Only after returning to the first floor did he shudder. He guessed that Wa State was about to face another bloody storm.

Bai Cangshu returned to the second-floor balcony. The Wind God Leg manual appeared in his hand again. He closed his eyes, his mental energy rapidly draining as his consciousness entered the martial practice state once more.

In the martial practice state, he leaped into the air. Qi circulated through his body and rapidly gathered in his legs. In an instant, his legs turned into countless afterimages, kicking at the figure below like a violent storm.

Bang bang bang bang…

Through martial practice, you have comprehended Wind God Leg’s Third Form: Stormy Wind and Rain

Inside an upscale villa in Seoul, the white-haired butler continued to faithfully carry out Li Qingzi’s orders. He no longer remembered the woman named Jing who had previously followed Li Qingzi.

Thus, he found it somewhat strange. Normally, the young lady would assign such matters to an assistant, so why was she having him handle it now?

Li Qingzi sat on the sofa, rubbing her brow. She had to carefully restrain her thoughts. Whenever a thought detrimental to Bai Cangshu arose in her mind, she would be punished with intense pain in her nerves.

That Bai Cangshu had set the restrictions on her with utmost precision. Thinking his name would alert him, while harboring thoughts harmful to him would bring punishment.

Such restrictions were even more cruel than training a dog.

At that moment, a burst of intense pain struck her. She immediately steadied her breathing and dared not continue thinking about it, merely waving her hand.

"Steward Park, have the director in charge of matters in Northern Myanmar come see me tomorrow."

The elderly man surnamed Park nodded, then picked up an invitation from a nearby table and handed it to her.

"Miss, earlier today, a man calling himself Xu Zhiyu came by. He is the eldest son of the Xu Pharmaceutical Group. This is the invitation he left."

Li Qingzi took the invitation. When she opened it, her pupils contracted.

The Yi Xin Society cordially invites Lord Moon Demon to attend the society’s headquarters gathering, where we may discuss matters concerning the nation’s fate.

"Has anyone seen this invitation?"

Steward Park shook his head. He was experienced and would never violate such a taboo.

Li Qingzi gestured for him to leave, then frowned deeply.

She did not know any Xu Zhiyu, but the Yi Xin Society was a somewhat renowned gathering in the East District. It was said that the society’s leader was a Special Reincarnator and… exceptionally brutal.
