Old Wang Makes an Appearance

Smash!

Smash!

Smash!

Hulk picked up a massive boulder weighing at least half a ton.

He took a running start, crouched, pushed off with both legs, and jumped!

Whoosh!

Like a cannonball, Hulk left a deep crater in the hard ground and shot two hundred meters into the air.

Then—

Throw!

Whoosh!

With hundred-ton-level strength and a physique close to immortal, his arms moved far beyond the limit of human visual tracking, giving the boulder an initial velocity greater than a bullet’s.

Watching the incoming boulder on the screen, the Special Forces soldier operating the Iron Soldier felt utterly miserable.

A normal person’s reflexes simply could not react in time. Fortunately, the Iron Soldier had an automated combat system. It scanned the unknown flying object and determined that none of its weapons could completely destroy it, forcing it to activate its chest cannon along with the thrusters in its hands and soles.

Full acceleration!

Boom!

In a blinding flash of white light, the chest cannon shattered the boulder.

The fragments struck the Iron Soldier without fail, sending up wisps of blue smoke.

"External armor damaged by 70%!"

"Energy consumption at 50%!"

"Weapons system damaged by 80%!"

"Flight stabilization system damaged!"

"Arc Reactor damaged!"

"General, Air Force One must make an emergency landing immediately and be sent to Azeroth Industries for repairs!"

The technician’s report came through the earpiece, and General Ross could not help but curse.

"Shit!"

Three hundred million dollars. He could serve as a soldier for eight lifetimes and still never earn that much, yet it had been destroyed just like that—like setting off fireworks?

It could be repaired, but who knew how much that capitalist Director Wang would charge for repairs.

Based on his experience, it would be at least ten million dollars…

No.

At least fifty million, maybe even a hundred million!

Yet this was only the beginning.

Hulk landed steadily and spotted an artificial rock formation nearby. His eyes lit up.

Fun stuff, lots and lots of it!

He hurried over, smashed the rock formation apart with his body, grabbed several boulders weighing hundreds of kilograms each, and leaped into the air again.

Whoosh!

He threw the first boulder.

Then the second, then the third.

The Iron Soldier, with its flight stabilization system and Arc Reactor damaged, could not dodge at all and was struck directly by a boulder.

It wobbled crookedly for several seconds before finally crashing down.

Seeing the Iron Soldier truly turned into a heap of Gold-Titanium Alloy scrap, General Ross no longer merely had a toothache. His heart hurt. His whole body hurt.

The entire Iron Soldier could probably only be recycled as scrap metal.

No matter how expensive Gold-Titanium Alloy was, it was not worth three hundred million dollars. Twenty million dollars would be about enough.

If they sorted through the internal materials and equipment, they could probably salvage some value.

With that one move, Hulk had smashed away at least two hundred million dollars. It was faster than robbing a bank.

Banner, don’t blame me for disliking you or not wanting my daughter to marry you.

You’re such a spendthrift, you couldn’t possibly support my daughter!

Watching Hulk continue throwing rocks from the air, Ross’s eyelids twitched. "Retreat! All Iron Soldiers, retreat immediately!"

Did he even need to say it?

The other four Special Forces soldiers had already begun operating the controls and issuing retreat orders.

However…

Was there still time?

Bang!

Bang bang bang!

The rocks in Hulk’s arms were gone in less than two seconds.

Before General Ross could even finish his last word, Hulk’s final boulder had already struck the second Iron Soldier.

"Boom!"

Hulk landed and grinned broadly, as delighted as a child who had just done something naughty.

Black Widow’s chest heaved. She hurriedly pulled the Quinjet another thousand meters higher before feeling slightly safer, though she could not help glancing at Hulk a few more times.

This was not smashing Iron Soldiers.

This was clearly a brat smashing the neighboring house’s windows, except far more brazenly.

Even a brat would not dare smash them face-to-face. Afterward, they would at least know to run.

But Hulk?

After smashing one, he just kept smashing!

In less than five seconds, the second Iron Soldier crashed down.

The remaining three Iron Soldiers hurriedly fled toward General Ross. This was probably a soldier’s instinct—in such a dangerous situation, they naturally had to protect their own general.

Hulk landed, scooped up several more boulders, and chased after them.

Farther away, Captain America, who was already safe, looked helpless.

He actually wanted to give chase.

The problem was, he could not catch up!

Hulk, you were a strength-type hero. Fine, you could run faster than me.

But you were even faster than Iron Soldiers that had not yet accelerated. Who was he supposed to complain to about that?

Was such an absurdly powerful guy really a product of the Super Soldier Program? Why was he stronger than the original version, me? Had he been upgraded?

His nice toys had actually run away, and Hulk was genuinely angry.

His ability was rather special. The greater his rage, the stronger he became. He was a true warrior.

Far away on the lawn, General Ross suddenly saw a green monster leap into the air at terrifying speed, tracing a perfect parabola through the sky before throwing rocks at the apex.

After landing, Hulk simply picked up rocks from the ground, jumped again, and kept throwing.

Why were there so many rocks in the small woods at Culver University? Wasn’t it uncomfortable to walk on them?

Whoosh!

Whoosh whoosh!

The string of boulders was not particularly accurate, and the Iron Soldiers, already over a thousand meters away, naturally had no reason to fear them. They could easily dodge.

The problem was…

The rocks appeared to be landing on the sports field lawn at Culver University.

There were several hundred soldiers there, along with their general!

"Activate the emergency defense protocol!"

"Protect the general!"

The three surviving Iron Soldiers had no choice but to go all out, pushing their Arc Reactors to maximum output.

In this situation, machine guns and shotguns were useless. Aside from missiles, only laser weapons and chest cannons could be used.

The missiles had been used up in the previous battle, leaving only those two most energy-consuming options.

The three Iron Soldiers simultaneously raised their heads and chests, straightened their legs, and pulled their arms back.

At their chests, the Arc Reactors emitted intense white light before firing electric arc pulses.

The triple-barreled laser weapons on their shoulders fired at the same time.

Under the guidance systems’ calculations, nine lasers and three chest cannon blasts instantly struck the incoming boulders.

"Whew…"

General Ross had just breathed a sigh of relief when Black Widow’s voice rang in his ear. "General! Run! Hulk is coming!"

Shit!

Seeing Hulk about to rush out of the small woods, General Ross did not take a single step back.

It was not because he was particularly tough. He had simply realized something.

He could not get away!

Forget it.

He liked my daughter, didn’t he? He probably won’t do anything to me, right?

One second later, Hulk burst out of the small woods.

Countless bullets struck him, making him very unhappy.

Then he saw Betty.

Eh? Eh? Eh?

Why was the woman Banner liked lying in another man’s arms?

Banner would be angry, right?

Although Banner and I didn’t get along, I couldn’t just watch him be wronged, could I?

There was nothing more to say. Time to snatch her!

Hulk strode forward and reached Betty in an instant.

Betty’s ex-boyfriend looked extremely nervous.

However, a man who could catch the eye of Betty, the daughter of a general and a renowned doctor, was no coward.

He laid Betty on the ground, stood in front of Hulk, spread his arms, gathered his courage, and shouted, "Banner…"

But before he could finish opening his mouth, Hulk slapped him flying.

He struggled to his feet, touched his chest, and froze.

I’m not dead? It seems like I only broke a few ribs?

Banner held back?

Where’s Betty? My Betty!

He hurriedly looked over, only to discover that Betty had vanished.

Looking farther away, he saw that the green monster had actually run off carrying Betty. Run off…

My girlfriend had been taken from me again, right in front of me!

"Poor guy~~"

On the Quinjet, Black Widow wore a sympathetic expression.

Anyone would break down after something like this, but perhaps not that man.

He was a psychologist, after all. His mental resilience was much stronger than most people’s. He should be able to get over it, right?

On the lawn, the still-shaken General Ross cursed, "Shit," then shouted to the soldier beside him, "Quick, go get Immortal Iron Fist!"

Talbot had told him before that Director Wang was willing to provide help when necessary.

But Director Wang was not Immortal Iron Fist.

The only one who could deal with Hulk, aside from god, was probably Director Wang, right?

"General, we already made the call."

The soldier pointed ahead. "Actually, he’s already here."

General Ross hurriedly looked over.

At the end of the lawn, an orange-yellow portal appeared. A chubby young man in a white T-shirt, jeans, and a leather belt stepped out.
