So You Ordered a Hot Spring SPA, Huh?
Actually, in Marvel’s settings,
the Kree civilization’s various high-tech methods were quite impressive.
In the comics, the Kree Empire, Skrull Empire, and Shi’ar Empire were collectively known as the three great civilizations of the Marvel Universe. They had even created the Inhumans and such.
But how should one put it…
Those were only comic-book settings.
Over in the cinematic universe, the Kree Empire and the Nova Corps had been tearing into each other for over a century. In the end, neither side could afford to keep it up, so they reluctantly signed a peace treaty.
If the Kree Empire had really been that amazing, they couldn’t possibly have fought Xandar for over a hundred years, right?
So it was obvious that there wasn’t much difference in strength between the Kree Empire and the Nova Corps. As for how strong the Nova Corps was, the movies had already made that perfectly clear.
Honestly, they were nothing special…
Ronan had possessed the Power Stone at the time, so using him as a comparison might have been a little unfair. But a year later, Thanos had conquered Xandar without using any Infinity Stones at all, relying solely on his own forces. Yet even Thanos’s fleet couldn’t withstand Captain Marvel, who had punched straight through it in Avengers 4.
So, in summary:
Kree civilization ≈ Nova Corps < Thanos’s fleet without Stones < Captain Marvel, Vehicle Killer.
Fang Mo ate Essence Berries and Cosmic Meatballs all day long, and occasionally had an Enchanted Golden Apple to cleanse his palate. There was no way he could be weaker than Captain Marvel, right?
Even Thanos without Stones could destroy Xandar with his fleet alone.
One could imagine just how pathetic the combat power of these civilizations was. Even without using the Infinity Stones, Fang Mo could probably bulldoze his way through them with his own strength alone.
Just by throwing Malphite onto the ground,
Fang Mo had destroyed an area nearly as large as Nova Corps headquarters.
But Fang Mo had no intention of stopping this time. After all, the Kree had struck first. Honestly, these blue-skinned aliens were far too arrogant. From Ronan to the patrolling cannon fodder, all the way to the Kree homeworld, every last one of them treated outsiders like ants and idiots, always ready to kill at the slightest provocation.
Since the Kree had made the first move,
Fang Mo no longer needed to pretend to be some righteous gentleman.
After destroying the military district below, Fang Mo immediately returned the Ender Dragon to its original size. Riding it, he began observing the terrain of the Kree planet while casually shooting down countless Kree drone fighters.
Before long, Fang Mo noticed a mountain range situated at a very high elevation.
Unlike the Kree planet’s environment of towering skyscrapers,
this mountain range Fang Mo saw contained no extra structures beyond a magnificent metal temple. To occupy such a vast area on the Kree homeworld, where every inch of land was precious, even an idiot could tell how important this place was.
This was the Kree’s sole leader,
the Supreme Intelligence, a super-living computer created through Kree biotechnology.
It was said to gather the wisdom of countless Kree, encompassing science, philosophy, military affairs, thought, and every other field. It was artificial intelligence on an entirely different level.
"Supreme Intelligence, huh."
Fang Mo lowered his head to look at the metal temple below, his face taking on a thoughtful expression.
After thinking for a moment, he patted the Ender Dragon’s neck, poured all the beacon’s energy into its body, and gestured for it to fly back and rendezvous with the Milano first.
As for Fang Mo himself,
he slowly descended onto the temple’s dome.
The scenery here was quite beautiful. Though it was a mountain range, the Kree had flattened the mountaintop, leaving the terrain exceptionally level. Combined with the majestic metal temple, it truly gave off a strange feeling.
If an ordinary person saw this place,
they would probably feel something akin to reverence rising from the depths of their heart.
But Fang Mo was different. After briefly studying the temple’s structure, he curled his lip in disdain and muttered inwardly, I could make one too.
After examining the terrain around him,
Fang Mo immediately got to work.
First, he summoned Stand-in Steve. Then he placed a block of stone atop the metal temple and took a brand-new Hot Spring Sword from his inventory.
Fang Mo had given the previous Hot Spring Sword to Erina in the JOJO world.
But after returning to the MC world last time, he had taken some time to make himself a new one.
"Let’s pour some water into your leader’s brain."
Looking at the densely packed fighters and small spacecraft in the distance, Fang Mo grinned maliciously and drove the Hot Spring Sword in his hand into the stone.
The next second, clear water appeared out of thin air.
Around the Hot Spring Sword, roughly eight cubic meters of clear water materialized from nothing.
The instant this water appeared, it began flowing everywhere. With a crashing sound, a large amount of warm water suddenly rushed down the temple’s sides.
But how should one put it?
It was as though there were an invisible portal somewhere in the unseen void.
Warm, clear water flowed endlessly, never running dry. The warm water continuously emerged from the air, as though an invisible spring had appeared in midair.
Of course, the flow was not particularly large yet.
After all, the spring was still small. No matter how it flowed, it could not even fill a small swimming pool.
Even the high-pressure fountain on Morag spewed out more water per second than this.
But very quickly,
the terrifying logic of the Hot Spring Sword began to take effect.
Just like the Hot Spring Machine in the MC world, the Hot Spring Sword began expanding the spring outward from itself without any limitations.
Its terror came from its bizarre chain of logic.
When the creator of the Bamboo Mod designed the Hot Spring Machine, they had not added any range limits or detection mechanisms. This meant the Hot Spring Machine did not care how large the "pool" was. It would simply keep generating spring water until it submerged itself.
At first, it could only generate eight cubic meters of clear water.
But it soon began showing its power. The invisible portal in the air seemed to be expanding outward.
The water it generated increased from eight cubic meters to twenty-four, then forty-eight. By the time the Hot Spring Sword could instantly generate over ten thousand cubic meters of warm spring water, less than a minute had passed.
At this moment, the invisible gateway around it had expanded to roughly a hundred meters in diameter.
The Hukou Waterfall in Shaanxi and Shanxi had a flow rate of around thirteen hundred cubic meters per second, while the Hot Spring Sword’s output was now more than ten times that.
Even the magnificent metal temple had been completely swallowed by the pouring water.
From a distance, the metal temple below could no longer be seen at all. All that remained was a massive waterfall that had appeared from thin air and continued rushing downward.
Yet this was not the end.
Once the Hot Spring Sword had been planted in the ground for over two minutes, the diameter of the invisible gateway doubled again, and its output reached a shocking fifty-seven thousand tons—several times greater than it had been a minute earlier.
Only now did the true terror of the Hot Spring Sword gradually reveal itself.
It did not give a damn about conservation of mass and energy. It generated hot spring water entirely according to its own logic and rules, and as time passed, the scale of the springs it created would grow exponentially.
The Kree around the area had also come to their senses by now.
After all, Fang Mo was practically shitting on their heads. This was already the most vile act imaginable.
Every soldier on the planet mobilized. Kree Fleets from other star systems received deployment orders as well. In short, they would kill Fang Mo at any cost. In an instant, countless warships, spacecraft, drones, and even Orbital Weapons all targeted Fang Mo.
Yes, the Kree had truly been driven into a corner.
They had even deployed a super main cannon capable of destroying asteroids, intending to erase the entire area completely.
Though the Supreme Intelligence was a biological computer, as long as its data stream could be uploaded to the Empire’s network, it could be rebuilt even if the biological computer itself was destroyed.
Honestly, this weapon posed quite a threat to Fang Mo.
Though he could currently destroy worlds in all sorts of flashy ways, his defenses were still somewhat lacking. In his normal state, even captain-level powerhouses from Bleach could knock off half a heart.
Fang Mo knew that perfectly well.
Without using the beacon, even a high-yield nuclear bomb could leave him half-dead, let alone a planet-killing cannon.
But this was the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Fang Mo possessed four Infinity Stones. That made him truly invincible. No matter what the Kree tried, they could do nothing to him.
And during the time the Kree continued attacking Fang Mo,
another dozen or so minutes passed.
The mountain range beneath Fang Mo’s feet had now vanished completely, while the invisible gateway expanded by the Hot Spring Sword… had reached a shocking diameter of over two thousand meters.
That meant its output had reached nearly five million tons per second.
Earth’s largest Niagara Falls only had a flow rate of a little over six thousand cubic meters per second. The current Hot Spring Sword was equivalent to more than seven hundred Niagara Falls, capable of filling an entire West Lake in three seconds.
Scalding, clear hot spring water transformed into a roaring torrent and began rushing toward the nearest city.
The refreshing temperature of the surrounding area rose by more than twenty degrees. Warm white mist filled the air everywhere. The Kree planet’s drainage facilities were instantly overwhelmed. Spring water flooded all kinds of buildings, circuits failed, communications broke down, and everything around them gradually descended into chaos.
Perhaps the Kree considered this a flood disaster.
But to the Hot Spring Sword, it was not even the most insignificant fraction of its potential.
Time continued to pass.
Three hours later,
the invisible gateway generating hot spring water had reached a diameter of over twenty thousand meters. It could instantly produce four hundred and sixty million tons of hot spring water, equivalent to smashing three hundred and twenty-six West Lakes onto the ground every second.
The world-destroying flood from Revelation…
descended at this moment.
Even looking down from outer space, one could see a patch of blue slowly expanding outward.
The area where Fang Mo stood could no longer reveal even a trace of mountain. Only a crystal-clear water column of nearly absurd scale stood there, endless scalding water pouring from the void and transforming into raging floods that swept over everything around it without discrimination.
The surrounding cities had already been paralyzed two hours ago.
The sturdiness of metal buildings?
The waterproof layers of helium fusion energy towers?
The facts proved that before absolute quantity… all high technology lost its proper purpose.
Entire cities were swallowed by hot springs in an instant. These clean currents fell from the sky and surged forward, mercilessly sweeping away whatever they wished to take before charging toward their next target.
Just as the prophecy from the sleeping lord of the deep sea’s dream had foretold, this would be a disaster for every land-dwelling creature, yet a near-divine carnival for aquatic species.
But regrettably…
There were no aquatic species on the Kree homeworld.
