Angel Demon Alliance Army
"Hahaha, I’ve wanted to beat you up for a long time."
Rocket frantically pressed the buttons, unleashing a barrage of energy cannons. Ego clenched his fists, and two massive energy whips burst from the ground, tightly binding the warship.
Immediately afterward, the two energy whips rapidly contracted, and the warship’s Defense Shield began to creak under the unbearable strain.
"Break!"
Seeing the flagship trapped by the energy whips, Rocket immediately fired missiles at them. Boom! The missiles struck the energy whips and exploded violently, blowing one of them apart into specks of light.
Before Rocket could celebrate, two more energy whips wrapped around the ship. The Defense Shield shook continuously and was clearly close to collapsing.
"Quill, if the Defense Shield breaks, all of us will die."
Yondu said to Star-Lord, who had been unable to get the hang of it, "Think of your friends. Use your heart to control the Celestial Light and protect them."
"Those friends who mock me and screw me over every day?"
Star-Lord snorted, but his mind involuntarily recalled all the happy times he had spent laughing and fooling around with everyone.
Because of the shadow Yondu had cast over him, Star-Lord had always been alone. It was only after meeting that bunch of idiots that he had friends for the first time.
"Even though you’re all idiots, I don’t want you to die."
Star-Lord muttered to himself. Energy gradually lit up in his eyes, and the energy whips wrapped around the warship quickly dissipated. The ship jolted violently and regained its freedom.
Yondu laughed heartily. "Quill, you did it."
"That’s right, I did it. Rocket, open the door."
Star-Lord clenched his glowing fists and flew straight out of the warship without another word. Then, he charged furiously toward Ego. "Ego, pay for my mother’s life!"
"Damn it!"
Ego flew into a rage and controlled more than a dozen energy whips to attack Star-Lord. Star-Lord pressed both hands down, and ten energy whips belonging to him rose from the ground, battling Ego’s energy whips.
"That’s my energy."
Ego gritted his teeth, but he could not stop Star-Lord. As the son of a Celestial, Star-Lord had the authority to control the Celestial Light.
However, Star-Lord was still a novice, and his control was far inferior to Ego’s. He quickly fell into a disadvantage, so Carol, Rocket, and the others immediately gave him powerful support, blasting Ego’s energy whips apart one after another.
Carol shouted, "How do we kill Ego for good? If this keeps up, we’ll only die from exhaustion."
Star-Lord shouted, "That bastard said his brain is inside the planet. As long as we destroy it, he’ll die immediately."
Carol shouted, "Open a path for us. We’re going down."
"Okay."
Star-Lord exerted force, splitting the ground open with a massive fissure. Carol and the others flew inside one after another, following the underground caverns toward the planet’s interior.
"You dare?"
Ego was furious and controlled his energy whips to stop them. Star-Lord roared, rushed forward, tackled Ego to the ground, and pinned him down as he beat him viciously.
Without Ego’s command, the pressure on Carol and the others greatly decreased, and they quickly broke through.
"Grandmaster, activate them."
Ego kicked Star-Lord away, then pressed both hands to the ground. The earth in the far distance suddenly shook violently. Then, nine mountain peaks rose from the ground at once, each topped by a towering Altar.
"Ego, you’re not nearly as reliable as you claimed. The Blood God hasn’t even sent out a clone."
The Grandmaster snorted and waved his hand. Runes on the Demon Altar and Angel Altar lit up one after another.
It was worth mentioning that this Grandmaster was the real body; otherwise, he would not have been able to activate the Altars.
"Whether gods or demons, all they want are souls."
The Grandmaster took a wine glass from his robes and carefully poured out the strange liquid inside. The moment the liquid left the glass, it transformed into countless dead souls, wailing miserably in the air.
These were not ordinary souls. They were Vengeful Souls filled with resentment.
The Grandmaster put away the wine glass and pushed both hands forward. The countless dead souls split into two groups and flew into the two Altars.
Having received their sacrifices, both Altars shone brilliantly. The difference was that the Altar on the left was filled with dense demonic energy, while the one in the middle radiated holiness.
Then, the light from the Altars gathered together and descended below, forming two Space Gates more than a hundred meters tall.
"It worked."
The Grandmaster was delighted. A moment later, large numbers of Fallen Angels and Angels flapped their wings as they emerged from the two Space Gates, forming neat formations in the sky.
Fallen Angels and Angels were extremely hostile toward each other, but under the commanders’ suppression, they did not start fighting and simply pretended the other side did not exist.
At that moment, the Space Gate connected to Heaven suddenly erupted with dazzling brilliance. Then, a blond Angel with six pairs of wings and overflowing holy light flew out. It was the Archangel, Gabriel.
It was worth mentioning that Gabriel was merely a projection, not his true body.
"Gabriel!"
All the Angels cheered in unison. Gabriel flew above the Angel formation and spread his hands. Endless holy light enveloped the Angel Army, causing their momentum to surge.
"A light bulb? Why is it so bright?"
The Grandmaster pursed his lips in irritation and used divine power to give himself a pair of sunglasses.
"Damn it."
The Fallen Angels nearby were miserable under the holy light and could not help cursing. At that moment, the Space Gate connected to Lucifer’s Hell released a massive amount of demonic energy, forming a dark cloud that covered the Fallen Angels.
Normally, the Fallen Angels should have cheered and shouted Lucifer’s name at this point. Instead, after hesitating for a moment, they all chose silence.
The reason was simple. Lucifer had not come. That dark cloud was merely made of demonic power. What was there to cheer about?
Cheer because their boss was too afraid of death to show himself?
The Grandmaster shouted unhappily, "Lucifer, why aren’t you showing yourself?"
"We’ll talk later," Lucifer said flatly.
Gabriel sneered beside him. "Lucifer, you were never this afraid of death before."
"If you’re so unafraid of death, why did you only send a projection?"
Lucifer retorted. All of his projections had been taken out by the Blood God. Only his true body remained, and without absolute certainty, he would never take such a risk lightly.
Lucifer was not exactly afraid of death. It was simply that his great undertaking was unfinished, and he could not sacrifice himself so easily—just take that as the truth.
"A mere Blood God isn’t worthy of making me use my true body."
Gabriel spoke arrogantly. Lucifer snorted. These Angels were as shameless as ever.
Lucifer was cooperating with Gabriel only to find God. Their relationship remained hostile.
As Gabriel and Lucifer mocked each other, a Space Gate suddenly appeared in the distance and rapidly expanded. In the blink of an eye, it had become several hundred meters tall.
Beyond the portal was boundless space. The Blood God led a dense fleet of remote-controlled spacecraft into Ego Planet with overwhelming force.
Then, a figure flew out from the Blood God and coldly stared at the opposing side. It was Wang Bert in his bald Gladiator form.
Wang Bert looked at the Grandmaster and said coldly, "Grandmaster, it seems you really want to die."
Wang Bert’s gaze sent a chill through the Grandmaster’s heart, but remembering his arrangements, he raised his head and said proudly, "Blood God, the only one dying today will be you."
"That’s right. The only one dying today will be you."
Lucifer’s voice rang out. "We will destroy you and your forces here, then attack Earth and destroy the Defense Net. And you will be able to do nothing but watch in despair from Hell."
As Lucifer spoke, the Hell Lords acted together to disrupt space. A Space Storm began raging outside Adam Hell, preventing anyone from leaving.
Not only that, numerous otherworldly monsters invaded outside Earth’s Defense Net, tying up Wang Bert’s projection and Kamar-Taj.
Wang Bert shouted furiously, "Grandmaster, is this how you Elders of the Universe protect the universe?"
As the Grandmaster secretly activated the two Demon Altars, he said, "We protect the universe, not Earth. Hell is merely an insignificant native planet within the universe."
Wang Bert laughed in anger. "Grandmaster, you’re dead today. The Blood God said so."
The Grandmaster sneered disdainfully. "So what if you said it? Blood God, you’ll soon be a dead man."
At that moment, Gabriel, dazzling like a light bulb, shouted, "Blood God, hand over the Spear of God, and I’ll leave you an intact corpse."
Wang Bert looked up at Gabriel with a strange expression. Gabriel actually looked somewhat similar to Ancient One, except Gabriel had short golden hair while Ancient One did not.
That meant Gabriel was weaker than Ancient One.
"This feels like the wrong scene."
Wang Bert shook his head and said, "Gabriel, since you like the Main Universe so much, stay here forever."
"You’re about to die, yet you still refuse to admit it. Angel Army, attack!"
Gabriel raised his spear and shouted. Tens of thousands of Angels answered in unison, charging toward the Blood God amid the blare of horns and boundless holy light.
Lucifer also shouted, "Fallen Angels, attack!"
"Long live the Demon King!"
The Fallen Angels roared and swept toward the Blood God like dark clouds amid rolling demonic energy.
"Earthlings, Sovereign, fight for your home!"
Wang Bert raised his Vibranium Spear and roared. The Earthlings responded loudly as large numbers of clones flew out from the Blood God, riding Space Motorcycles toward the Angel Army.
Though the Sovereign did not cheer, their fighting spirit was just as fierce. They wanted to protect their home.
Just as both sides charged forward, a massive phantom appeared before the Blood God. It was Lorelei, Xandar’s newly risen superstar. With a confident and captivating smile, she asked, "Do you think I’m beautiful?"
"Beautiful!"
Whether Fallen Angels or Angels, every male shouted loudly—the aesthetic standards of Angels were the same as those of humans and Asgardians.
Lorelei shouted, "Then kill those female Angels. You only need me."
"Yes, my goddess."
The male Fallen Angels and Angels immediately turned around and attacked their former comrades. At that moment, Archangel Gabriel cast a spell with both hands, and a pair of holy wings suddenly appeared in the sky.
Then, the holy wings scattered large amounts of holy light over the Angel Army and Fallen Angel Army. When the male Angels touched the holy light, they felt incomparably warm, and their minds immediately began to recover.
As for the Fallen Angels, the holy light burned them until they screamed miserably, waking them even faster than the male Angels.
"Blood God, did you think I didn’t know about this trump card of yours? All your tricks rely on catching people by surprise. Once you use them once, they stop working."
The Grandmaster laughed heartily. "Angels are best at purification and support."
At that moment, Lorelei put on a pearl necklace that increased her charm. Then she spread her arms and shouted, "I want to see fireworks. My Angels, offer your bodies and souls to your goddess."
Empowered by the pearl necklace, the Fallen Angels and Angels were charmed once more. They ignited their Angel Cores and shouted, "Goddess, we will offer you the most perfect fireworks."
"Damn it!"
Gabriel shouted angrily and scattered holy light once again. The Fallen Angels and Angels quickly regained their senses. Recalling the foolish things they had just done, they were terrified and hurriedly suppressed their Angel Cores.
However, as the saying went, destruction was easier than construction. Once an Angel Core had been ignited, calming it down was no easy task.
At that moment, the unmanned spacecraft entered attack range, and countless Energy Bullets rained down upon the Fallen Angels and Angels.
The male Angels were horrified, but they were busy suppressing their Angel Cores and could not spare any attention. The female Angels had no such problem, but there were too few of them to protect so many male Angels.
As a result, many male Angels were shot dead by Energy Bullets. Once they died, their Angel Cores could no longer be controlled and exploded with a roar, turning into Light Flame that took the surrounding Angels with them.
"Excellent!"
The Sovereign cheered and continued their assault. At the same time, the Clone Corps descended from the sky and slammed into the Angels, exploding violently.
For a time, the Angels and Fallen Angels suffered catastrophic losses. It could even be said that they were utterly routed.
"I’m very satisfied with these fireworks."
Lorelei smiled, and many male Angels were charmed again. Gabriel gritted his teeth in fury and formed a white spear over a hundred meters long, hurling it fiercely at the Blood God.
Wang Bert glared, and his Heat Ray instantly destroyed the white spear. Then, surrounded by a sonic-boom Shockwave, he rapidly charged toward Gabriel.
"Gabriel, deal with the Blood God."
Lucifer shouted. At the same time, large numbers of Fallen Angels and Angels flew out of the Space Gates to reinforce the vanguard army.
"Shut up. You have no right to order me around."
Gabriel snorted and confidently met Wang Bert head-on. Their two spears collided violently in the air, unleashing ferocious shockwaves.
Then, Wang Bert split into nine and attacked Gabriel from nine different directions. Gabriel smiled disdainfully and raised her spear. Nine massive white pillars of light descended from the sky, blasting fiercely into the nine Wang Berts.
All nine Wang Berts vanished at once. Then, the real Wang Bert appeared behind Gabriel and thrust his spear at her back like a bolt of lightning.
Gabriel spun around sharply and rapidly swung her spear with both hands. In a single second, their spears clashed hundreds of times, nearly emptying the surrounding air.
"Good spearwork."
As Wang Bert attacked, red light shone in his eyes, and two Heat Rays shot fiercely toward Gabriel’s chest.
The white feathers on Gabriel’s body fell away. Some turned into an energy shield to block the Heat Rays, while the rest transformed into sharp swords that shot toward Wang Bert.
Wang Bert turned his head and used Heat Ray to destroy all the swords Gabriel had fired. Seizing the opportunity, Gabriel thrust at him with a spear blazing with boundless light.
Wang Bert held his spear horizontally before him and was sent flying dozens of meters with a clang. Just as Gabriel was about to pursue, Wang Bert cast a spell with one hand. A Circle of Death appeared beside her and rapidly contracted around her.
"What fast casting speed. He completed over a hundred spells in an instant."
Gabriel was somewhat surprised. She brought her hands together, and a holy sphere was born between them. It rapidly expanded and slammed fiercely into the Circle of Death.
